My nose is cold and runny
Don't think it's funny cos it'snot.

wilkie - if you are around give dh lots of good luck vibes from the eandh house for tomorrow we'll be keeping everything crossed for you

JodieG1 · 27/03/2007 20:09

Carrot - wedding plans sound really good

eah - hope you get the photos soon

Wilkie - none of mine have had dummies or sucked thumbs. Ethan sucks his fist when he's hungry but that's about it really. He does bite down sometimes which makes me think he could be teething, dd was teething for months before one finally came through.

Rgee - I'd leave the pram facing you. I have a carrycot one so he can lie flat now but you put a seat unit it when they can sit up but that still faces me. I think it's good for them to be facing who is pushing them so they can interact and still look about.

evening all!

well we've had a lovely day - got taken out for lunch by my friend, then had a massive bucket of yummy ice cream and then went and sat in a pub garden in the sunshine all afternoon! i'm seriously gonna miss days like this when i go back to work

wilkie - good luck vibes from here too!!

WilkieBarEasterEgg · 27/03/2007 20:57

Thanks for the good luck vibes - I have everything crossed (making life quite tricky actually )

RGee - IMO I would turn the pram into a buggy. Have done this with Jacobs in the last week and he is so much happier travelling forward and looking at the world (so much so that I am thinking of buying a forward facing carseat). Worth a try - you can always convert it back.

Hmm only managed to get two windows done before Ds woke up and started grumping. But those two were the worst and they are nice and shiny .

carrot the wedding plans sound fab!

Good luck to Mr Wilkie for tomorrow!

Just applied for a form to get DS a passport as we are going to Germany in june with PILs. Hope all the rest of you planning holidays abroad have remembered as we hadn't even considered it till my MIL mentioned it.

Dylan has a dummy. (& a really chavvy 'England' dummy clip from Woolies!) As soon as he spits it out though, he stuffs his fist in his mouth, or his fingers, so much so that he can actually gag himself! The baby whisperer lady says that fist/finger sucking is a good thing, its part of them developing their skill set, self soothing.x

Lizzzombie · 27/03/2007 21:06

OMG - is anyone else watching ITV at the moment? Half Ton Hospital - the mega fat people. Well, I have to say its putting me off my creme eggs!

Lizzzombie · 27/03/2007 21:07

errrrgh!
the big fat people have to wear nappies.

WilkieBarEasterEgg · 27/03/2007 21:14

Nice

WilkieBarEasterEgg · 27/03/2007 21:14

Step away from the creme eggs Lizz or that'll be you

CarrotAteAllTheEggs · 27/03/2007 21:17

She really is quite large

CarrotAteAllTheEggs · 27/03/2007 21:19

it's quite sad though, a bit depressing in fact..

WilkieBarEasterEgg · 27/03/2007 21:22

Carrot - apologise to Lizz, that was nasty

CarrotAteAllTheEggs · 27/03/2007 21:24

I most certainly did not mean you, Lizz, Wilkie is stirring

WilkieBarEasterEgg · 27/03/2007 21:26

Heh heh heh (Wilkie rubs hands together and does evil laugh)

CarrotAteAllTheEggs · 27/03/2007 21:29

Oooh, you just made me think of Evil Edna in Willo the wisp!

WilkieBarEasterEgg · 27/03/2007 21:29

Carrot you've lost me (think I may be too young to understand....heh heh heh)

JodieG1 · 27/03/2007 21:32

Wilkie - wouldn't recommend a forward facing carseat just yet, the rear facing ones are MUCH safer until they're older and weigh more I am a car seat freak though and really stick to all the guidelines obsessively so ignore if you wish

I keep thinking I must piss people off on this thread as I have some quite strong views on a lot of things baby related and if I have annoyed anyone it's not intentional, I just never seem to know when to keep my mouth shut.

CarrotAteAllTheEggs · 27/03/2007 21:33

Just checked your profile to see how young you are, I'm only 4 years older than you, can't believe you don't remember willo the wisp, with evil enda the tv set? What about the Moomins?

JodieG1 · 27/03/2007 21:34

Forgot to say, anyone else that has msn is welcome to add me if they want [email protected]

WilkieBarEasterEgg · 27/03/2007 21:36

Remember the Moomins (my mum is Moomin ) but not Willo the Wisp. Do you remember Superted??? and Super Gran and Johnny Briggs??????

(BTW I was only joking about the age think Carrot, I knew how old you were as I looked on your profile )

Lizzzombie · 27/03/2007 21:37

I loved willow the wisp - and I wanted to get a mavis the fairy tattoo for ages! I am so classy!

JodieG1 · 27/03/2007 21:38

I loved superted, used to sing the theme tune lol

Lizzzombie · 27/03/2007 21:42

Has anyone weaned their LO yet?
I'm thinking about doing it soon. he is 9 weeks, but I heard you can wean at 8 weeks.

WilkieBarEasterEgg · 27/03/2007 21:43

I've heard that Lizz. Think I am going to wait until 12 weeks to be safe though.
