Morning everyone!

Hope everyone had a good night!

We decided to try and get Max into bed a bit earlier than he had been last night.

Had his bath with Alex at 6.30 then 5oz at 8pm. Then he took another 2oz at 9.30pm. Went to bed awake and fell asleep about 10pm then slept until 6am which was great

Should be feeling refreshed but didn't manage to get to bed til 12.30am myself!

morning all - love the new thread title 2Happy!!

good night again here, down at 8, woke at 5;47 for quick feed then straight back down till dh woke us both up at 8 by shouting SHIT I'M GOING TO BE LATE!! he always talk really loudly in the night too - not in his sleep, i could forgive that - but just after he's been to the loo or i've just finished feeding Zac! if he doesn't stop i shall "suggest" the spare room!

reusable nappies - i've attempted to order the Tots Bots Fluffles for daytime and Bumbles for night, with Motherease wraps. the Fluffles have liners in them, and i've got loads of flannels i don't use so they are being pressed into service as boosters for night time! however, i've not ordered them yet, as the NappyLady website won't accept my discount code, for some reason. so i'll have to phone her and ask her to put the order through for me.

good idea about the postcard, whoever that was. i can feel a trip up to asda imoending! shame it's 2 bus rides away......the things i do for the old bat!

Hello everyone!
Love the new names, am thinking of a suitable one at the moment.
Muckypup - how is your LO today, after his jabs? Dylan has his due tomorrow, and I am a bit worried. Did you have to use the calpol in the end?
UD - Dylan is properly knawing at his fingers (I can hear him gag on them sometimes, he is sticking them down his throat!) I started pulling them away from his mouth everytime I saw him do it, but after reading more of the Baby Whisperer I just let him get on with it now. I guess its a self soothing thing, and there is only so many times you can stuff the dummy back in.
Annieapple - hope the giving up BF is going ok. I cant wait, but am so scared about having HUGE & painful boobs for a few days afterwards. How is it going?
Wilkie - your pictures are RUDE!

explanation of new name:
I have decided creme eggs have shrunk. I am sure they used to be much bigger. I think its a con that they sell easter eggs claiming to be a creme egg easter egg, when really they are just hollow chocolate eggs which come with a creme egg or two. This is not good enough in my book. I demand that they produce an easter egg sized creme egg, and sell it with a spoon. Yes, I could finish it all, and no it would not make me sick. I intend to campaign to Cadburys to get this made. x

Morning all bad night again here lauren is full of cold so im up every couple of hours with her at the minute im so tired.

Wilks hows js sleeping ?

Jodie dont be to harsh on yourself about the bf I cant really comment to much because both my kids are bottle feed however aidan is 2and a half now and he is rarely ill so im sure your dd will be fine.

S/C in britain is not rally my domain however the hoseasons cottage book is really nice and alot of girls I work with have been with them.

Eah there are loads of nice hotels in menorca so if you see any others and you want my advice just let me know however the one you have picked is perfect for a family holiday.

We are going in a villa this year check it out www.villa-in-algarve.co.uk its in the eastern region in villamoura its a 3 bed villa and its called the villa manuela we are going with my mum and dad and my mil. A big tip if you ever book a villa book it off the net never through a travel agent as the net offer them loads cheaper.

Morning all. You've been shatting again. Just re-read that - I meant chatting.

UD - Boots also sell some postcards you insert a photo into if that's closer.

PCF - sounds like a great night, but how do you manage staying up until 12.30? I am such a lightweight.

Shimmer - Hope F is just having an off day and he's better soon. You going away anywhere nice?

Annie - liked the tip re bottle shaking. Must try that.

EAH - looks a lovely pool there. Anyone else got hols planned? We've booked a cottage in the Yorkshire Dales this summer, then heading to Ireland for a wedding later in the year. Am already dreading the flight but at least it's a mere hop across the sea.

Hope you all have good days. No plans fr me (so prob on here all day..) The weather is supposed to be top dollar so may head sown to the park. See you later!

Anyone have an opinion on Tesco nappies Size 3 - J is still in the number 2's at the moment but not for much longer. I have been very impressed with Tesco but my sis said the size 3 Tesco's leaked with my twin neices.

Are the Tesco size 3 still just as good?

I hope the size 3's are as good as that's what I've ordered. Shopping (supposed to be) being delivered between 9 and 11 this morning and I've just put the last nappy on the house on ds, fingers crossed he lasts until they arrive!

Talking of hols we're off to Ireland on Thursday for a wedding, so will be ds's first flight - I'm sure he's very excited!

Wilkie - haven't had any problems with the Tesco size 3's, Z's been in them since he was about 8 or 9 weeks old, chubster! if anything, i've found them better. i think it does make a big difference between boys and girls. i've just started using the Morrisons own and they are THE BEST so far!

nasty orrible foggy weather here today. have just put Z back to sleep in my bed and sneaked downstairs for breakfast!!

just a quick one as taken me 15mins to catch up so far

Whoever asked dune jumping is basically small hills of sand caused by tides/weather and you get to the top and then jump down except ellie sort of fell down them each time but she loved the freedom and had her wellies on for a paddle in the sea. Am just gping to buy a new lcd tv for playroom and dh can cope with having both of them so trying to persuade ellie to come with me!

Hattie has swapped from sma gold to aptamil as couldnt get any wind up on sma but is fabon aptamil both dd's went to bed at 7.30 last night (ellie had nap in the car on the way home so wasnt tired) and I woke u at 7 this morning in a panic as neither had made a squeak in the night am one very happy lady today!!!

Thanks for the help laughalot think we'll probably do that hotel as friends been and said it was perfect as we are going with another family not to bothered if resort is quite. Do you know when you can book for next year as all the stes only have dates till april 08. Couldnt face abroad this year so we are doing butlins in sept with best mate dh and her kids nice and easy!!!

Right wil catch up later and will change my name to easter theme as wilkie thougt one up for me byeeeeeeex

yuk - don't know how anyone can eat those things! I used to work at Cadbury's and you could buy bags of a dozen eggs for about 50p in the staff shop. One guy would buy a bag at lunchtime and get through the whole lot in an afternoon

Bleeugh, i can't manage to finish a normal size cream egg never mind an easter egg sized one!!

PCF, I am the same as you I put DS to bed early, but stay up far too late so it's my own fault that i don't get enough sleep.

Ds was down at 8 last night and fed at 11, 4.30 and up at 7.30 which was pretty good.

it doesn't seem to matter what time he has his bottle at before we go to bed, whether it is 11 or 1am he is always up at 4.30. I think it's become habitual waking .

trixy - have read that if your lo wakes at the same time, waking an hour before lo normally wakes can stop it. THink it was in the baby whisperer. You'd have to be quite brave though!!
