Right, never changed my name before, everytime I write a message, I have to rewrite my new name in the nickname bit at the bottom from my old one. Anyone know how to get it to remember my new one?

I read that in the BW too, but ca'nt imaine actually setting an alarm clock for that time in the morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also think he's a bit too wee and needs his food in the middle of the night. Maybe when he gets to 12 weeks and he's still waking at the same time I'll give it a go.

Dragon - PMSL at make your own big creme egg Can't imagine biting into it! How do you eat yours anyway? I bite the top off and lick the insides out with my tongue.
I think on the last thread there was instructions on how to move your profile across, but can't remember where. Sorry.

F*ck it, I am sticking with my own name. Cant be bothered.

Yes, trixy, think I would rather just wake at 4.30 than 3.30 and risk being up til you get up!

Rgee, I eat it the same, top off then lick it out. The most I have eaten in one sitting it 6. Anyone beat that?

Morning all

Lizz - Leo seems fine this morning. He was a bit grumbly yesterday evening. Mostly because he fell asleep before bath time and then it all got a bit late so he was hungry and tired. They gave out free calpol to everyone at the baby clinic and advised giving a dose anyway to prevent temperature. I thought he was a bit hot in the night when I gave him his 3am feed so gave another dose. Most of it ended up on his chin both times despite using a syringe to put it in his cheek! He woke up happy as larry and has been fine. It's not as bad as I thought it would be.

No sign of dropping either night-time feed yet but happily he went from 7am to 10am without a feed this morning - a big improvement from 9am which he was doing up til a week ago! Also feeds are getting much shorter usually.

Sorry but I'm going to be an easter scrooge and stick with the name.

Laughalot - what about Laughalotsofeastereggs?

Dragon - you have to go to my mumsnet, click on registration and change your nickname in there.

How many of your LOs go to sleep with a dummy? I swore I would never do it but J is getting to rely on it more and more. Do you think it is a bad thing? He keeps sucking his thumb so I am hoping he will substitute his dummy for his thumb instead.

I don't know about large cadburys cream eggs but you could get mini ones some years, I think, unless I'm imagining it! I'm looking forward to going to my friends tomorrow for lunch, she has a whole jar of naturally dyed solid eggs from marks, mmm, chocolate that is actually good for you, as it's dyed with spinach, or something

Rgee, whereabouts in Yorkshire are you going? We're going to Wensleydale for Easter, a really nice cottage there, I can't wait.

Well, we gave notice of our wedding this morning! Almost didn't, as first dp couldn't find his passport, then we were late, and then the superintendant registrar, who said it was her second week, asked if my birth certificate was a full one. Yes, I said quickly, thinking, shit, it isn't, it's just on a large bit of paper. She said oh, normally there would be more info on it. 'It must be a lovely job being a registrar' I said loudly 'all those lovely births and weddings and er, deaths'. Yes, she was really enjoying it so far she said. Later, what's your dad's full name? I couldn't remember his middle name. It's really strange, she said looking puzzled, it normally has it on here. 'Alan' I shouted again a bit too loudly, it's Alan, awful name don't you think? And she just typed it in! I said to Jon after that I couldn't believe she had to ask me if it was the proper one, and did he think she'd mention it to a colleage and phone us to come back. He reckons it's too late now, she's signed the paperwork that she's seen it.

Weird, but ANYWAY, we are getting married on the 25th April. Hooray! It's a wednesday, and we're only having two witnesses and a couple of friends and then lunch, then a drinks/cake party at the weekend. Very small, but we never wanted a big wedding, lots of family issues! It's tecnically a brewery, St peters, but the house/hall there is very pretty and there's a moat etc and it's one of our favorite places. The tiny chapel upstairs can only fit six people in it. We finally ordered the ring yesterday but as I want a platinum band I have to wait three weeks for it. Our song didn't come on again though, just the one that they all sang on the last Skins. Did anyone else watch that, I loved it?

Oh, and Wilkie, I wouldn't worry if he prefers the dummy to his thumb, at least you can take that away, some kids suck their thumbs for years! Ds1 had one but dd would never take it, despite me holding it in her mouth . I haven't used one with LO yet though

UD, did you get some teething granules? I think a lot of babies just chew their fists at this age though, mine does and another one I saw today..

carrot - wedding sounds fab. I watched skins and loved it as well, didn't like the ending though - surely they haven't killed Tony off??

Not sure if dummy or thumb is best, my dd(4) still sucks 2 of her fingers when tired / bored etc unless she's reminded not to. Dentist said it's important to stop it before they start to lose teeth and that might only be a year or so for her now

I know, Easterhat, shocking ending, they can't kill Tony off!! I didn't realise it was the last one till they all started singing 'wild world'. The previous one was brilliant if a little odd, I was on the edge of my seat. Well, my life isn't very exciting at the moment Not sure how good a second series will be though

Evening all. I hope some of you are around the next hour as DH has gone to the footie, and there's nowt on tv.

EAH - am at your day. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to my lo's days. She eats anywhere between 24oz (yesterday) to 34 oz (Friday). Chase up those photos btw!

UD - loved the photos taken on your knee. He is really cute. Don't know who would win the cutest baby boy on this thread, they're all so gorgeous!

Dragon - I once ate two creme eggs in one go. I had one in each cheek and had such a full mouth I couldn't bite. Had to wait for it to soften and then dribble creme down my chin. I would not be able to eat six in a sitting! I bet Lizz could though

Carrot - wedding sounds lovely. And St Peter's beer is lovely. There is a box of it just right behind me. Bottle of Ruby Red anyone? I like the honey beer they do. Going to a cottage in Richmond in June. You going to visit the cheese factory in Hawes?

Wilkie - no dummy here but she's part of the eating fist gang. She continuously blows bubbles too. Why do they do this? Is it a sign that teeth are a couple of months away?

Trixy - can you see through your windows now? The sun finally made an appearance here, but not until I was a mile from home so the sun shone right in to DD eyes and made her narky. Must dig out the canopy.

LO has started to get in a right grump now when out and about in her pram. Do you reckon it's because she wants to see what's going on in the world, and maybe now is the time to turn it into a front facing pushchair?

Rgee, two at once sounds like a challenge!

Not sur about the pram though. I have a carrycot on my double and I love the fact that Ruth will be in it longer as she is smaller than Luke was. Luke loves to be facing me now and he is 20months now. We sing as we walk and lots of people look at me as if I am crazy!
