Shimmer · 20/03/2007 21:20

hahah i can't believe all these posts already

I am indeed starting the hungry baby milk tonight - sticking with SMA tho as thats what hes on in the day. LO slept LOADS today though so i really doubt he'l have a good night. Ahhh well fingers crossed. J's napping sounded perfect today wilkie. I keep aiming for that but it never quite works!

BTW SMA ready-made liquidy milk is different prices in different shops! I'm still using the little cartons at night so avoid the whole waming up thing (lazy lazy lazy). BUT the nearest supermarket to me is actually waitrose, where things are obviously pretty expensive and a small carton of SMA is 44p there, compared to 42 i think in tesco or boots where i nomally get them. I know i know 2p a day's not exactly the end of the world but its the principle! But the other day i did a special trip to sainsburies for a chance (what an exciting life i do lead!) and i was shocked and outraged to find myself paying 45p a carton there!!!

Ok so you lot have probably posted another 50000 messages in the time i've been typing this, so better stop writing and catch up....

Shimmer · 20/03/2007 21:23

oh oh i'm on msn too if anyone wants to add me my email is [email protected] (i'm not really called shimmer you see...)

laughalot · 20/03/2007 21:28

Really dont want to say this but when I tried lauren on hungry baby milk it had no effect whatsoever !!!!!! Wilkie just hit laughalot over head however that was cow and gate milk . Been at friends today as her little girl was one my ds decided to hit a little girl he is also being a terror at the minute and im sure my period is on its way because I could have just cried, her mum was saying dont worry about it and then in the next breath she was telling another mum her kids never hit other children smart cow I could have swung for her and guess what happened next her little girl went up to lauren and slapped her maybe she hasnt got perfect kids, I could have swung for her I was so pissed off. When I got home I rung my friend up and told her I wasnt coming roungd again if she was going to be there I ended up in tears and we have both come to the conclusion that my period is on its way .

wilkie · 20/03/2007 21:33

Wilkie breaths sigh of relief - prospect of eating own head very daunting!!

ellieandhattie · 20/03/2007 21:34

shimmer added you on msn I hav one real life friend on there and rest are mnetters.

awww laughlaot been there with Ellie she tends to get a bit over excited with other children and even though she is worse the other kids do do it just seems their parents always happen not to be there

wilkie · 20/03/2007 21:35

I'm on MSN [email protected]

ellieandhattie · 20/03/2007 21:36

Hattie2 · 20/03/2007 22:31

Thought I might as well make it 100 messages on the new thread!

I only went away for the weekend but there's no chance of catching up on everything that's been posted since then .... but definitely looking forward to seeing if Wilkie is eating her head tomorrow morning

trixymalixy · 20/03/2007 23:33

Can't believe this thread didn't even exist when i had a peek in before dinner tonight and now this is the 101st post!!!

you lot don't half chat!!!

I can just see the headlines - "Internet addiction leaving babies abandoned!!!"

can't even begin to catch up on all the posts.

Someone was asking about baby sheepskins last time I looked in, Ikea have them for £25 and I was watching one on ebay which went for £8!!

I love labyrinth as well, watched it for the first time in years when my mat leave started, I always wanted to be sarah when I was younger!! DS was bought a stripey sleepsuit like the baby, which i love so much that i went and bought it in every size they had it in!! Will need to post a pic!!
