have you resized if so when it loads and you get a blank page scroll down and it should be there

Lizzzombie · 20/03/2007 19:44

I have a GnT in one hand and DP in the kitchen making tea. Baby in bed, and Eastenders on.
Easy peasy. I thought this parenting malarky was supposed to be hard work!

Wilkie - I'll be your girl for all seasons, all the year through, your girl-irl for all seasons...la la la laa la la laa etc....that was my fave Grease 2 song! x

Carrotcake- we went to where they filmed Dirty Dancing on holiday in 2004. DH aunt won a competition and gave it to us. We stayed in one of the cabins and saw loads of the places from in the film! Was great for the first day then for the res tof the week, we were in a cloud (it is high up in the mountains) and couldnt see beyond our balcony. It was really scary. Great to go though esp. for free!

Muckypup- I cant do the dream feed either. Both lo just wont wake up and I cant jam my nipple in their mouths like a bottle. Dont know how bfers do it actually!

Went out today shopping and basically had a big argument with DH over nothing, as Luke and Ruth screamed in the buggy. Will I never learn to go shopping on my own! Tried to open an account for Ruth and they said that the next appointment they had was 2 days away and that the next saturday one was 2 weeks away!! You would think they would want you to open an account wouldnt you.

carrotcake · 20/03/2007 19:46

phew, just sat back down and groaned as I heard a cry, however, next door's child is having a tantrum, not mine to deal with! Felix isn't asleep though, sort of looking around in his cot, this putting down awake lark is new to us, will be sleeping through by the end of the week I reckon

ellieandhattie · 20/03/2007 19:48

dragaonhart I work in bradford and bingley and we open all accounts straight away no need for an appt.

at dh for you especially with the 2 of them screaming in the pushchair (been there, done that and bought the t shirt)

2Happy · 20/03/2007 19:48

I've tried eah. Last time I emailed the pic to resize it, but it doesn't seem to be working this time, I just keep getting error messages.

I argued with dh too this week dragon, and we never row . Just tired, I guess. Hope you're ok this evening.

carrotcake · 20/03/2007 19:48

Wow, Dragon, that would be so cool, lucky you. I can't dreamfeed either by the way, and he seems to wake up the same time regardless

Dragonhart · 20/03/2007 19:49

EAH do they have good accounts for children? Lukes is there but considering changing it after the bad treatment.

ellieandhattie · 20/03/2007 19:50

could be a site problem I had trouble loading the one of hattie in the christening gown at the weekend kept getting a page up with loads of goobledook on it. Came out of mn came aback on and it worked - blimmin technology

Dragonhart · 20/03/2007 19:51

2happy, neither do we. Must be something in the air. Having said that we were shopping. Luke has turned into the monster from hell! He is always screaming and I feel embarassed when we are out. Getting me down actually.

carrotcake · 20/03/2007 19:52

I couldn't get on the profile bit earlier, whenever I clicked on mymumsnet it just sort of shivered?

2Happy · 20/03/2007 19:52

That might be it, eah - or it might be me being computer illiterate! Oh well, think I will give it up as a bad job and switch off! Though I suppose there'll be another hundred posts by morning

OP posts:
2Happy · 20/03/2007 19:54

Oh, DH, that's what we rowed about too . ds1 was having an almighty tantrum - he does them well at the best of times but has been spectacular since ds2 was born (though been a little better this last week or two) and I just felt that I was getting no back up whatsoever.

OP posts:
carrotcake · 20/03/2007 19:54

Is luke your older boy, dragon, how old is he?

2Happy · 20/03/2007 19:55

(posting in 2 halves because dh beside me)
He basically said he disagreed with my method of dealing with the tantrums, but I'm the one facing them day in day out while he's at work.

OP posts:
Dragonhart · 20/03/2007 19:56

Its the same with L, he has just turned since I got preg and had R. Used to be an angel but now a monster!

carrotcake · 20/03/2007 19:56

Just looked on your page, 19months, tricky age for tantrums, no reasoning. Sympathy to you. Btw, Michelle Magorian wrote that book

carrotcake · 20/03/2007 19:57

and a great one called 'back home' too..
