I'd moan more but ds2 is having a very off day!

hmm, when I've had check-up's, Wilkie, they nearly always prod and clean them a bit, seems a bit strange to just look? Did you not have toothache then, my face has stopped fizzing now and it really aches, keep thinking he's done the wrong one but dp says they always hurt after. You think I'd remember after having about 15 fillings in the past. I hope mercury doesn't leak! I want to slowly replace them all, forgot to say earlier that dp's work health insurance pays for our dental stuff, well, most of it, so I should get that £65 back. I've better things to spend it on, like those great big 'mini' eggs in marks and spencers, anyone tried them? Yum. No wonder I have bad teeth [

Dragon, LO sleeps similar to yours, usually a long sleep late morning and then napping the rest of the day, although, if I'm out with the sling on for a long while he often stays asleep in that. I've sent to to the spare room for a few nights to try to catch up on sleep, as his snoring is waking me in between lo's wakeing up and it's driving me mad! Quite nice to have the whole bed actually

theUrbanDryad · 23/03/2007 20:07

argh! hate it when that happens! memo to self - you do NOT need to double-click on "post message"!

carrotcake · 23/03/2007 20:08

just sitting down to soup through a straw now, quite nice actually, as I'm half starved . Doesn't work quite as well with a big dollop of creme fraiche though...

carrotcake · 23/03/2007 20:11

I promise I won't say 'quite nice actually' again

Lizzzombie · 23/03/2007 20:14

I went to the dentist when I first got pregnant, and she only prodded and said, "yes fin" compared to my usual more thorough appt. I reckon its because we are getting it free, and they can't be arsed to do anything which requires work.

Lizzzombie · 23/03/2007 20:20

My LO sleeps for and hour and 20 mins out of every 3 hours during the day (from 6am - 6pm) so that is what, 5 hours ish during the day.
Then 6-10pm = another 4 hours, and 10.30pm - 3am = 4.5 hours & finally 3.30-6am = 2.5 hours.
So, in total that is: 16 hours a day. I think. Its all a bit complicated to work out. I will pay more attention tomorrow. [clip board & spectacles emotion!]
The main problem I have is that if he sleeps through a feed, half of me is thinking, "wayhay! - more sleep for me" and the other half of me is thinking "ow, ow, ow, my boobs are sooooooo full, I need to get the milk out NOW!" It sort of ruins the extra sleep part!

theUrbanDryad · 23/03/2007 20:24

Lizzz - i can't sleep on my side if i miss a feed, have to sleep on my back so as not to squish my boob!

Dragonhart · 23/03/2007 20:28

I love that feeling when you have just finished the first feed of the day and your boobs have gone from lumpy rocks to saggy bags Not all that attractive though!

Lizzzombie · 23/03/2007 20:29

Tell me about it UD! Although, when that happens its more like they are ROCK HARD and there is no way I can sleep on my front, or like the other morning, no way I can sleep at all, as I'm too much pain. The other morning I was up at 5am expressing it all out, I got 10oz YES!!! 10 whole ounces out of 1 boob! Jordans' got nothing on me when I'm full!

Lizzzombie · 23/03/2007 20:29

Its like having a blocked nose suddenly unblocked isnt it!

(can't get the nips aligned properly!)

ellieandhattie · 23/03/2007 20:40

am laughing to myself to (unless the fish understand!)

Lizzzombie · 23/03/2007 20:43

I'm sorry, but if this lady is BF then I'll eat my baby. My boobs were bigger than hers when I was 12! yeah right

carrotcake · 23/03/2007 20:46

Lizz, that is hilarious!, I can't believe you can make boobs out of brackets , and 10oz's, WOW! I've never been able to express more than 1!

RGee · 23/03/2007 21:01

Lizz - pmsl at your boob emoticons

wilkie · 23/03/2007 21:12

Lizz you are funny....drink more wine...want more boob emotcions

vinorouge · 23/03/2007 21:17

Rgee - I am still here, not logged on for several days and was so much effort to catch up I skimmed a lot last night and then reading todays chat now. I had read about pramacise too - was it any good??? Had a bit of a crappy week just shattered really so am off to my mums until Weds to give me a rest and let DH catch up on his sleep too.

I had a 6 week check but there are 3 surgeries in my area and not all do them. Drs are messing me about - at wits end with them really and considering complaining or moving surgeries. I'm not healed properly - a tiny graze from the birth that keeps opening up and antibiotics not healed infection whatever it is. No word from drs on the discontinued ointment they prescribed me. I know I'm really run down frombeing so tired, ahve started a 'new mum' supplement today on advice of my HV, cost 7 quid in boots so hope it works!

Been to see a friend with a 3 week old today who is 8lb, Ellen was that big when she was born and I can hardly belive she was ever that small. She was 13lb 1oz yesterday.

Lizz - love the boob brackets

EAH - enjoy the christening (now I've got the right weekend!)

vinorouge · 23/03/2007 21:19

thanks for the mention, Wilkie I'm still about, currently feeding DS & watching Eastenders! He still only goes an hour or so between feeds during the day, so still not getting much done & house permanently in a tip! Anyone else still BF-ing? How long do yours go between feeds?
