NatalieJane · 08/03/2007 10:19

Oh no, have you tried the cup?

Bibbles · 08/03/2007 10:39

lol nj hubbys just put their feet in all the time my hubby has pissed me off this morn ds awake every 2 hrs again from 2am,so at 8am he went to sleep so i thought i would grab an hour with him huh that idea went out the window,as hubbys mate turned up to cut the trees with an industrial trimmer, which started the dogs barking grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr so that was the end of that.
yes guys you have guessed and yor right.
stace you know me i post daily just check to see whose name is missing.

Bibbles · 08/03/2007 10:41

oh also any tips on how to get water into ds he has a little thats all,but its getting harder to give him as he is more awarre of things now he is getting older.lol.

Mummy2TandF · 08/03/2007 11:09

Bibbles - dd won't take water at all, nor would ds. I found that the heinz baby juice is more tempting (after 4 months) but I do still boil water and water it down, because they are still so little NJ - I am with you on the clothes front - I keep trying to buy fashionable bits but I just think they look silly, I bought one of those long tunic tops the other day and a pair of leggings to go under it - when I tried them on to ask dh's opinion he said - yeh its okay, you wouldn't go out in it though would you .... so much for trying something new - I actually went out last night (only to bingo I admit but it was out) and am going out on 22nd March ad 7th April as well, so I need to find something new to wear - I am even having my hair done on 17th March haven't had it done for 18months ..... am a bit fed up of just being mummy and skivvy ... want to be me again for a bit

NatalieJane · 08/03/2007 11:11

Hey Bibbles well at least you have someone turning up to cut them for you, my DH does ours and I have to say, he doesn't do a very good job!! (Trying very hard not to use your old name!!)

Re. the water, again you could try a different cup or spooning it into him, don't forget it isn't absolutely essential to get loads in him, the milk has a lot of water in it so it isn't the end of the world if he doesn't have just plain water, George only has about 10ml of water a day - if that - he likes to bite the cup rather than drink the water!!

NatalieJane · 08/03/2007 11:16

Mum2T&F, they really know how to stick the boot in don't they? I did get my own back with DH, he brought some boxers from Tesco so I wolf whistled at the man on the front of it!! He wasn't impressed and proceded to tell everyone in the cosmetics aisle that the wax strips for my bikini line were on the bottom shelf... LOL What a wonderful DH I have

staceym11 · 09/03/2007 08:05

NJ havn't tried the cup as most of the time now hes ok, the problem he seems to have is if his tummy is empty he hates having food put in it not very helpful!!

NatalieJane · 09/03/2007 08:46

Stacey, when he messes about with the milk, could you give him some water and then once he has water in his belly, then give him the milk?

staceym11 · 09/03/2007 08:49

he doesnt like his belly grumbling, which water makes it do worse (imagine your belly empty and drinking a glas of water) what i do do is give him a little bit of baby rice and then once hes got that in him he'll sometimes drink the bottle, sometimes he won't pot luck really!

NatalieJane · 09/03/2007 09:24

Good thinking batman

staceym11 · 09/03/2007 10:14

haha, thats fine robin, good suggestions (can you tell im going crazy?!?!)

NatalieJane · 09/03/2007 10:25

I think anyone who entertains the idea of having kids is going crazy, but the madness really sets in when you do it again... and again.... and again

staceym11 · 09/03/2007 10:43

for anyone who hasn't seen it have a look here at the fund raising ideas for a Mile for Maude, even though you may not be doing the walk you can help raise awareness and money!

Bibbles · 09/03/2007 18:55

HappyCatandIzzy · 09/03/2007 22:05

Hi everyone.

I know I disappeared completely for ages but I hope you remember me. I definitely missed all of you. I feel like I'm just resurfacing after the chaos that is known as having a baby! I can't believe it is 4 months since we were all waiting for our LOs.

I've just been looking at all your photos. I like knowing what people look like and will now go and try to figure out how to add pictures myself.

I've no hope of catching up on months of postings on this thread and the last one, so please forgive me if I am a bit clueless on many subjects.

Hope you and your babies are all ok
HC

NatalieJane · 10/03/2007 09:20

Stacey, thanks for pointing that thread out, I will keep an eye on it and see what they all decide to do, when she died I did make a donation to SIDS, but this seems like much more fun than handing over a cheque. And I am with you on the friends front, all of mine are down south, and especially now since DS1 started nursery there are loads of people who I say hello to and make general chit-chat with but none that I would call a friend.

Bibbles I hope last night was a nice break for you! How is the hangover??

Happy birthday Charlee, also same question really, how is the hangover?!! Hope you have a lovely day

HC, I was thinking about you the other day! Glad everything is going well

Well girlies, I am off to shop shop shop I am so excited!! I even have make up on, and I never wear make up!!! Whooooo hoooooooooooooooo, my feet are going to drop off in these boots but I don't care, I'm going shopping, I'm going shopping, I'm going shopping!!!! Now must stop dancing around like a prat and look like I am so used to shopping in posh shops....!! Goodbye Dahhlings

staceym11 · 10/03/2007 10:37

oh NJ i hope you enjoy your shopping trip!! wish i could do it!

dd got a birthday party to go to today (which is a good excuse not to go to the pub for MIL birthday) am off now to sort the flat out before we go!

Debbsyandson · 10/03/2007 12:56

im here

podglet · 10/03/2007 16:02

Happy Birthday Charlee, hope you have a fab day

NJ - hope the shopping was fab. I went out and bought 2 pairs of jeans and a new top yesterday - it was lovely!

debbsy - how's the head? i have been having a couple of glasses of wine a week whilst bf, looking forward to a point where i can say "yes please, I will have a second glass"

We went and had some "proper" photos taken today, it was loads of fun, even DP enjoyed it! Can't wait to see the results next week

Hi HappycatandIzzy, hope things are all ok?

staceym11 · 10/03/2007 18:56

debbsy i did guess eventually, debbsyandbibby, thats how i got it, finally just a bit slow!

how come someone in RL has found out who you are?

well dd is happily running round with no nappy on. ds is in a bad mood and keeps being sick everywhere, dunno whats wrong with the poor boy!!!

NatalieJane · 10/03/2007 19:13

Debbsy, good to see you back

Podglet, well done on the shopping front And thank you for reminding me that I still haven't booked our photo's I will make it my mision this week!! I hope yours turn out well

Stacey, there are loads of different bugs going round at the moment, maybe try some calpol? George had some last night he was snuffly and a bit warm, soon sorted him out

Well one day of shopping has landed me with a pair of jeans and a top I got DH a t-shirt and a jumper, DS1 some jeans and George a t-shirt, some socks and some sleepsuits but I didn't go for them

Why is it when I don't have the money or time to try things on I see loads of nice things, but when I have the money and time to try it on I see sod all?

Off to mope into a glass of wine! No posh voices and air kisses from me this time
