I like that one LeBe.
I suppose I will have to add pics to my profile (there were some on the old one, not too sure about this one).

Bethbe · 04/05/2007 18:05

Roly-Poly pudding and pie!

mygirllollipop · 04/05/2007 18:08

Is anyone's DC sitting yet? DD4 is still wobbly. She is nearly crawling ie on hands and kness but she moves backwards so not long.

saralou100 · 04/05/2007 18:14

my girl, your old profile actually still works!! i looked at it earlier today.. but your extra 'l' one doesn't!!

ryans still wobbly on sitting he manages a little while, then just nose dives!! he can pull himself along on his front and can wriggle backwards on his back, that one really amuses him, grins away while doing it

OP posts:
Bethbe · 04/05/2007 18:15

Like a weable sp? - but he does fall down! Best practicing on the bed so I don't worry!

LeBe · 04/05/2007 18:32

All your ds/dd seem alot more advanced than alfie, he can sit up for a little bit but then falls left or right but i got him one of those rings so if he falls he doesnt hurt himself, no crawling or shuffling of any kind but he can stand up all on his own balancing using the sofa (i dont mean standing on it i mean leaning against it incase you thought he was a circus performer)
Glad you liked the last one! x

mygirllollipop · 04/05/2007 18:40

DD4 is trying to stand and can hold her weight but because of her dodgy feet she tries to stand on the outsides of her feet IYSWIM?

podglet · 04/05/2007 19:35

Lebe - Alfie is lovely - I love that hair!

How about "Nov '06 Weebles - they wibble and wobble and mostly fall down"? Although I like the one about the choc too. Now I have stopped bf, the diet has started in earnest...

DS is getting better and better at sitting up but prefers to be rolling around

debbsyandsonn · 04/05/2007 21:11

I like yours podgelet and lebes any will do for me,just still catching this story on the 3 yr old little girl terrible!!
,had a drink tonight too on my 3rd glass of wine feel pissed already going to seduce dh,rang him up at work to tell him, goneoff the idea now though feeling a bit tired lol

Charleesunnysunsun · 05/05/2007 09:18

Lol Lebe i loved the thread title it's alot better than anyones i thought of!

I think Stacey is having computer problems, hence the absence.

Harry can kind of sit up and is just happy rolling back and forth at the moment, then again Jack never crawled only walked. Harry can hold onto the side of the table and hold his wieght by himself but obviously i have my ands at the ready to catch him when his legs get tired and give way!

Crappy weather here so no gardening for me today like i had planned! Oh well

At the in laws tommorrow which is ok there pretty nice people, long journey though i hope our old banger makes it up there!

Have a good weekend.

debbsyandsonn · 05/05/2007 10:18

hi ladyann he was born at 3.36am the 11th december, were you induced then?

LadyAnne1stTimeMum · 05/05/2007 11:20

Hi debbsy

Yes I was induced - it was horrible - I went down to the delivery suite just before 5am - I don't recall many details as ended up on gas and air - but there were a lot people in the room when Taro finally appeared - doctors, midwives, senior midwives - goodness knows who else - looked like chaos too me .. still - he is gorgeous so it worth it in the end.

He thoroughly enjoyed his belated breakfast - we've just cleaned it from his hair ... and mummy's hair ... he's playing up a bit now - he has a cold and hardly slept yesterday, he also has only had a fifteen minute nap since waking at six. It also looks like a storm is brewing - I know from experience that he has inherited mine and his dad's 'barometer gene' so I'm not surprised at the grumpiness.

Hope you and Kai are having a lovely day.

LA

LadyAnne1stTimeMum · 05/05/2007 12:26

Just realised - according to the statistics listed - I'm the oldest mum here ... with the youngest LO - scary (unless someone is hiding)

Incidently - if anyone has any ideas for a name for our long living angel fish do let us know...

I'd also like to know about how others who have gone back to work (reluctantly in my case) feel.

bye for now LA

debbsyandsonn · 05/05/2007 13:13

la i go back on the 5th june bit gutted really as ds is such a little darling, have asked for 4 days though waiting to hear.

LadyAnne1stTimeMum · 05/05/2007 13:19

Hi Debbsy

DP chose Taro - bit of a long winded reason - he once said that he thought Tarot as in Tarot cards would be an interesting name for a boy (I used to read the cards). When choosing names I selected Thomas for a middle name as both mine and DP's grandfather had the name. Taro was going to be Kieran - but there are so many children with that name around here that we changed our mind and decided to choose one that stood out - that's when the conversation about Tarot cards was recalled - out of curiosity DP had a look to see if it was a name and found 'Taro' which is Japenese for first born Male. Taro Thomas sounded right and the rest is history (we also recently found out that a chap who had a small part in a programme called Prisoner Cell Block H is called Taro Thomas).

Re: the induction - I was in hospital from 9th December - none of the pessaries seemed to work - then I suddenly dilated rapidly - when things got tough I was too far gone for painkillers or emergency C - but that's a horror story for another day. Taro - or Taz as we call him is very restless at the moment so I'm going to take him outside for a walk - and hopefully tire him out a little.

See ya

Need some help girlies.
Well basically Alfie has had a bedtime routine since 6 weeks old that consists of bath, bottle bed and it has worked brilliantly he has slept thro the night since about 4 months old. Only problem now is that he wont sleep without his routine. He goes to bed at 9-9.30 and tonight we are going to a bbq and dont want to have to leave after an hour so need any ideas? He wont go to sleep later either cos he gets to tired

podglet · 05/05/2007 19:24

Sorry Lebe, prob too late but how about bath and into pj's before you go then bottle when you get there (or at the right time)? If you use the sleeping bags, you could then pop him in and use his pram? Hope all ok.

LA, I love the name Taro, it's v unusual - it has a lovely meaning too.

Hope everyone is ok and enjoying the long weekend. We're not doing much as DP has exams in 3 weeks so is busy revising.

NatalieJane · 05/05/2007 22:21

Good evning ladies

I have been so norty tonight and had 3, yes 3 glasses of wine, poor old George, at least he should sleep tonight

I honestly am feeling pretty pissed up TBH, think I might go and jump on DH, can not blieve I have turned into such a light weight....

Well I forgot what I came on to tell you all, so I am off for some sex G'night xxx

LeBe · 06/05/2007 20:22

Dear me it seems like everyone has had a social life today (apart from me). Well please someone come on cos i have IMPORTANT NEWS!!! Alfie crawled today.
Firstly he rolled straight onto his front then pulled his arms out from under him and shuffled about 2foot to get a toy, it was so cute!! Hope everyone is ok and having fun. x

podglet · 06/05/2007 20:58

WOW Lebe - that's brilliant! clever little boy How did you get on at the bbq last night?

WE KNOW WHAT YOU'RE UP TO

LeBe · 06/05/2007 21:14
