Happy Easter everyone I have been very good and not had any chocolate yet, we did have some hot cross buns with tonnes of butter for brekkie though!

We have sorted the holiday out, we are now off to Menorca for a week in August, we were thinking of going for two, but we thought if the hot weather does seriously effect George it is only a week and not two so we stuck at a week. I haven't cancelled the Thomas Cook one yet, I am going to wait till the last minute and cancel it then so hopefully they won't be able to sell it at all or at least they would have to sell it as a late deal and get next to nothing for it, serves them right for diddling us out of £300 I say!!

We had a lovely day yesterday, we went up to the lakes and spent the day round Lake Windermere(Sp?) DH has just cut the lawn and is washing down DS1's slide and sand table and the other out door things, then we are having our first 2007 BBQ, can't wait, BBQ bacon mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm We've got some lamb steaks for it aswell and a load of sausages and some more bacon, topped off with salad and a roll, and probably sex, it makes for a wonderful day

Right I am off to play Swingball, with the cat, no one else will play it with me, and she plays better than everyone else batting it back to me LOL Hope you all have a lovely day/weekend xxx

Ds's highchair and door bouncer (DP gave in!) have arrived so am off to try and put those up for when DS wakes up

Hi.

Hope those who are ill or looking after ill children are managing ok.

Debbsy - I took DD to the GP and asked about the shape of her head. I was just told that it is flat on one side and that it's quite common, and that I should just watch it to make sure it doesn't get any worse. I've had a look at the thread you started and am going to try and make sure I don't let DD spend too much time in bouncy chairs etc. Just wanted to say thanks for starting that thread, it has made me feel a lot better about things. Hope you are feeling better about it too. Let me know if you find something that makes a big improvement.

Mummy2TandF · 10/04/2007 23:23

Hi all - It has been sooo long since I posted Have been so busy here - problems with dh etc. Anyway - I hope I can post more often again now.
NJ - What a horrible time you have had, am glad things are better now Stacey - hope you are haveing a great time and of your quinny, I think I have a bit of a buggy fettish, I am never happy with the one I have got All those with new photos - they are so cute. Podglet - am for you about the christening - when we had ds christened a couple of years ago, we were told that it was possible we would have to share the church and I wasn't very happy but luckily we had it all to ourselves, I am hoping that we will for dd's aswell (If I ever get round to booking it) antway, am off now - will try to post again tomorrow.

Debbsyandson · 11/04/2007 08:45

Charleesunnysunsun · 11/04/2007 13:49

Hi everyone, let me apologise again for not being around!

We are over all our bugs and nasties now (i hope!)

We had a nice quiet family easter so that was good.
I have had Harry up the g.p today becuase to be honest i couldn't take his constant screaming anymore! I had enough of people telling me hes a whingy baby and marched into the dr's and got him checked out, thet finally linked all his symptoms together and have decided he deffantly needs seeing and have reffered me to the hospital.

A bit more about it here

Hopefully it gets sorted, i am just so scared i am going to go through another few years of hell again like i did with Jack.

Anyway me urine sample came back and i ave a severe kindey infection thats the 5th one in about 4-5 months! So im going for a repeat ultrasound to see whats blocking it,
I refuse pont blank to have kidney stones i am not peeing thoses buggers out!

Apart from that were ok just plodding along doing up the house and garden.

I sm doing really well at my driving lessons so not long now hopefully!

Hope all is well elsewhere.

staceym11 · 11/04/2007 14:19

hi hope everyone is ok!

happycat ds had a problem with flat head a while ago and hv scarred us to death and sent us to hospital, who jsut told us some excercises (putting on tummy, turning so he looks in the other directions at things etc) and it made a hell of a difference within a week! it can be worrying tho!

charlee hope your boys are ok! sending to you!

well we had a lovely holiday and jsut settling back in now!

ds loved my nan to bits, which made her year i think! dd was a bit freaked at the change to begin with but was fine on the second day!

ds mysteriously started eating as soon as we got there, and now we'r back home has now stopped again but got him weighed yesterday and he's 15lb 5, so putting on weight fine, he does enjoy a crust of bread/the odd chip given half a chance, isn't much into purree....ok im not much into purree its a bit of a faff!! but he's doing ok, as are we all! glad to be back tho!

podglet · 11/04/2007 19:05

Hi all,

Thanks Debbsy, Saralou & M2T&F, we are very pleased with them

Debbsy - hopw you are less worried now and that DS head starts to improve soon

Happycat - how are you doing? Is Izzy sleeping better yet?

M2T&F - hope all sorted with DH now - lovely to "see" you back I too am angry about Sunday (gulp) but what can I do? V annoying but at least I don't have to share the party afterwards!

Stacey - glad you had a good time

Well, I have caved in and we have started weaning DS. He is 23 weeks tomorrow and now weighs in at a hefty 17lb 9oz . He is just having tea at the moment at around 5pm and he started off on Sunday with just baby rice but I decided that was revolting so last night and tonight I mixed in some Hipp organic apple puree (got it free in a Bounty pack recently) and he loves it! Going to try him on carrot tomorrow!

Ok, will stop boring you with my son's eating habits now. Hope all is well.

NatalieJane · 11/04/2007 19:18

Evening all

Podglet those photos are lovely I really must get round to sorting Georges out

Stacey, glad you had a good time

Sara, hope you feel better soon xxx

Charlee, I haven't read the link you gave yet, but at least if he is being referred you can hope that something will be sorted out for him a lot sooner than with Jack, poor little thing, and you.

Well everything is going fine here, DH is off to Italy at the beginning of next week for three days, I don't know what I am going to do with out him, we have never spent that long apart since we met, and the only nights we have been apart was both times when I was hospital giving birth, so this is going to be a new experience! What am I ever going to do with myself? No cuddles and kisses...

George had his last lot of injections today, I am so worried he is going to end up with a temp last time But so far he has just been sleepy, so fingers crossed it won't be as bad. And at (hang on got to work it out...) 17.6 weeks he weighs in at 17lb 13, which considering he lost quite a bit when he was poorly, he has still gained 8.5oz so he is doing well enough. And DS1 had to have his MMR booster, he was so brave bless him no crying and he got a sticker which he is proud of

We are back at the docotrs tomorrow though, I have had pins and needles and numbness in my left hand for a couple of months, it has now got to the point where I can't grip things in it, so I finally went in to the doctors today while we were there for the boys injections and he has said I need a blood test so I have to drag us all back tomorrow morning just for a blood test that they could have done today if they'd have been arsed.

Right I am off to maximise my alcohol intake G'night xxx

NatalieJane · 11/04/2007 19:21

LOL Podglet, carrot? I remember DS1's ahem, results, (if you follow me?!!) of his first taste of carrot - Good luck LOL

Debbsyandson · 11/04/2007 21:37

Stace glad you had a good time.

Sara are you feelng better.
Well my news been to'ing anf fro'ing from work really trying to sort out going back to work as i want yto cut my working week down 20% and only work mon -thurs pleeease wish me luck with this as it would mean the world to me...

saralou100 · 12/04/2007 09:13

morning all!

was feeling much better yesterday... was some weird 24hour thing apparently! (i don't really do ill!

debs, goodluck with your employers! i sorted my hours out yesterday, easy! i got myself all worked up for nothing - actually quite irritating, i had to trek their and all she wanted was me to be more flexible with the 2 shifts i do in the week.. she could have asked me that on the phone! anyway i'm happy, boss is happy... but i'm back next month!! oh no!!! my name actually appears on the offduty and my first week of shifts are down!! oh no.... why cant this last forever!!!

um, why's mygirl withdrawn her messages??? wheres she gone???? i just noticed!

OP posts:
podglet · 12/04/2007 10:32

Oooh, you eagle eyed girl, glad you are feeling better.

Have just looked at mygirls messages - curiouser and curiouser - hope all is ok.

Good luck Debs, hope it goes the way you want it to. Keeping fingers crossed for you.

staceym11 · 12/04/2007 19:11

debs good luck with your employers!

am worried a bit about mygirl pulling her messages, hope all is ok there, seems rather odd, not like her at all....[puzzled emoticon]!

was gunna post but must go as ds is screaming in bed! hes worked out he can also roll onto his front in bed, but then cant sleep! arrrrrgggghhh!

NatalieJane · 12/04/2007 19:45

Oooo there is a mystery going on Seriously, I do hope she/they are all OK... I wonder if it has anything to do with meeting her SIL? Has she been back on since they met?

Debbsy, you are more than welcome to come and keep me company, it would be lovely to meet you properly and to see that gorgeous little man of yours with my own eyes!

Sara glad you are better

I have been prodded and poked and drained of enough blood to keep a vampire going for a while, they are going to do a full MOT as the nurse put it, kidney and liver function, iron levels, thyroid, calcium levels, colesteral etc. kind of feel a bit I thought he would tell me a better way to move my wrist or something to get the blood flowing properly.

George is doing OK since his injections, I have been taking his temp even if he doesn't feel very hot, and the highest it has been today is 36.5 so hopefully they won't kick it all off again, but I still don't move without taking his temp bless him, the poor thing has had it almost permanently stuck in his ear!! LOL

DS1's bedtime, catch you later xxx

Debbsyandson · 12/04/2007 21:19

charlee, when you e-mail her, tell her to come back under a different name and we'll keep her secret! (oh and point out the profile thingy to her too!)
