Hi all - Charlee - glad things are getting better with the boys and hope hat you can get your neds sorted out ... don't forget you have been through a lot lately, it is likely to send anybody into mood swings!
mygirl - How annoying - gp's always refer for what they think is a problem and not what you as a mum think Why don't they just listen - we know best (or at least that's what I keep telling ds )
NJ - get you, could you pass some of your luck this way please - we are a little bit lacking in that dept atm (oh, and George is soooo cute)
stacey - Hope things are okay with you atm - email me if you want a chat (if you read my other thread you can see that I have been in a similar situation - MEN!!)
I went for a job interview yeaterday for weekend work and they called me back this morning for a second interview - now I am not sure if I want it or not The money would come in handy (of course) but I don't know whether I want to lose every weekend or if dh will cope with the dc's oh, oh, oh, nearly forgot! Guess what peeps - am I the first .... Freya has a ickle toothypeg another sign of growing up! I can't believe it, it is by no means a massive tooth yet but it has broken the gum and is poking through - anyone elase with teeth? Well that is defn enough from me - off to tidy up bth dc's asleep together I am shocked

mygirl - I really wish mine would leave it a while before getting teeth LOL! Ds has his at about 5 months I think (will have to check his book) ... but they seem so much older when they have them ... I know I said that I would stop at 2 but maybe when they are both at school I might go for another now, then I can fully appreciate the lovely, cuddly baby stage

why dont i ever win money??? been doing well by selling bits on here, acctually got some perfumes and make up bits (all brand new never used) if anyone is interested! charlee were you after the testers? £5 including delivery love!!

just got back from playcentre with fatbetty!! her los are soooooo cute! dd really enjoyed herself and Keiran and Madelaine were holding hands!!!! i wish id taken the camera!!!

well keiran now seems to only refuse 1 bottle a day and that is his lunch one (anywhere between 1-3) he has 2oz then wants proper food. but hes drinking all the rest of them so im ok with that!!

must go and decide whats for dinner not done it yet today!!

oh but will let you know, all is quiet on the dh fronthe wants to forget it ever happened which believe it or not i cant do, so its all a bit tense still but when he finally talks to me it will get sorted out. only problem is thanks to him iv started smoking again as iv been so stressed and worried and cant get my head around the fact he will come home! arrrrggghh men!

DS and I have been up for an hour and we are just waiting for DP to surface. Off to my mum's for lunch - yummy

Does anyone have any tips on helping babies with colds!??!?! Poor ds is having trouble sleeping as he can't breath through his nose very well. Hes only 16 weeks so we cant use vicks apparently.........

Kaybee ds had a cold when he was 3 wks old i was told steam in the room so i boiled a kettle,got some karvol caps and had a large bowl in the room to keep it ventilated,also tilt the top of his cot up on yellow pages or something of that thickness,and also get some saline nasel drops from the chemist (they can be used from birth) and use before a feed if ds isnt feeding very well.

kaybee and zak, dd had a cold about that age, i used vicks but put it on the back of her clothes, not on her skin or her front! worked well for us!

well ds is better, eating better now so im happier!! dds a stroppy moo! and we'r gunna start potty training tomo morning (dd not ds ) should be fun!!!

Morning everyone!

Harry likes to start his day at 6am! He is madly eating everything he can! lol including chocolate buttons Jack decided to give him yesterday! he has his second tooth coming through already! Jack was near a year old before he even had a hint of a tooth!

Harry is also rolling over all over the place so i have had to fit a childs bedside to my bed to stop him falling out!
Gone are the days i could lay him on the sofa next to me to have a play!

Stacey - i sent that paypal over to you, i hope you got it ok.

R.E - colds. harry has had one i got the saline solution that you can put in there nose to clear it, and baby olbas oil works well on a blanket close to them.

charlee yeah got it fine, i even managed to send it saturday (dh was watching football!!)

well ds went down at 10 last night and didnt wake again till 6am i was but it was lovely to get some sleep!!!!

Morning all

We have had the best weekend, my sister, BIL and their DS came up on Saturday, we had a nice relaxing lazy day really, played swingball out in the garden LOL Then yesterday (DS1's birthday - Thanks Debbsy!!) was just fantastic, he was besides himself with excitment, he really didn't know what to do with himself That Nintendo Wii is absolutely brilliant!! I don't normally do computer games, but this thing is so much fun! We were fighting over it last night after DS1 had gone to bed LOL

And we have had about 5 inches of snow, it hailed all day yesterday then in the evening it started snowing, and thundering and lightning - I didn't know it could storm when it was snowing but it did! This time 5 years ago we were packing up to come home from the hospital and it was 23 degrees on the way home in the car, we spent all week outside in the garden sunbathing with DS as a baby under the parasol, now we are wrapped back up in hats gloves and scarfs!! Oh well, I am sure summer will be here soon enough!

Right I am off to play with the Wii!! LOL Hope everyone is well and had a good weekend aswell xxx

Hi All! Hope you had a Happy Mummy's Day! We didn't do a whole lot. DH has been working loads so I'm surprised that he actually remembered to even get me a card.

Great to see you stacey the other day. It's so amazing to see how much our LOs are growing up.

Getting myself in a bit of a panic as we are going on holiday in 3 weeks to see my family in the US and I only have DD US passport and not her UK one. Was kind of thinking that I could just take her birth certificate to get back into the UK. Of course I cannot get a hold of anybody at the Home Office to answer my questions. A friend is signing for her UK passport so will pick that up maybe tomorrow and get it sent off and maybe the passport will come in time. Leaving it all a bit close though!! I always seem to do this.
