No MRM - The Cap'n is at home, couldn't take any time off work Missing him oodles! He was worrying about me a) driving the distance alone, and b) doing it in snow. As it turned out it was nice weather and good traffic for the whole journey - only issues were due to mad AA route and diversion!

Dh got up ith Lew this morning and left me in bed and i only got up half hour ago

We sent off for one of those £9.50 holidays from The Sun and have just got it back this morning, we're going to a Haven Park, Craig Tara, Ayrshire, Scotland on 4th June. not our 1st choice but its a holiday

Saturday night went quite well in the end. Ds slept well and a few unexpected friends turned up so I had a couple of bottles of wine and woke up with a sore head

Ds is improving, he isn't as grumpy but dh has caught something similar andnow he is very grumpy!

We took the kids to soft play this morning - pure hell during half term! Poor B was too old to be officially allowed in the toddler bit, but little enough to struggle in the bit with all the big kids. Pippa seems to have acquired a new habit - pushing children , which she put to good use pushing not only Emrys, but children twice her size at soft play!

I think you should all bring something to eat tomorrow, but not for yourselves - for Bronwyn - flame and I will never manage to carry enough snacks for her. She's huuuungry .

She and Pippa have been very funny together at times. Pippa likes to grab hold of the back of B and they run around the room together with Pippa trying to keep up and keep her balance, whilst B keeps changing direction! Pippa laughs her head off during this.

Well, we've been to London!! Took ds1 today, just me and him, as a bit of quality time, and then also if he decides not to come tomorrow he'll have still had a 'turn'. Offered him free choice on what to do... 'I want to go and see a sarcophagus' Then Rainforest Cafe for lunch because i had a voucher for the kids meal free with an adult, and he delighted in telling the waitress all about dead people being in a sarcophagus with their special treasure! Then Disney Store and treated hin to a Cars playmat (plus 2 to ebay ) and a blue mater! He was so well behaved all day, and we got to have some really good chats etc without having ds2 and the buggy to deal with. Considering he didnt want to go first thing today, he really enjoyed himself. Think I will bring them both tomorrow, and just hope I can deal wi the tube alone with 2!

So, tell me again where and when tomorrow, just to confirm. Think I'll go to Waterloo, as its apparently wheelchair friendly, but not sure if the northern line bit is, or just mainline. Jas? You are the fountain of all tube knowledge. It would be v handy, as I know thew station this end and can do the stairs ok, then it'd be a straight line down.

According to my map, the mainline and jubilee tube bit are ok, but all the others have stairs/escalator.
I will be on the circle line doing my best last time I went with a buggy dd2 was in it so I can't remember how bad it is.

CSWS/Flame - love the image of your DD's running around together!!

DD is doing really well. We are keeping her dosed up with the codeine and calpol they gave us at the hospital, and she is still recovering from the anaesthetic (sp?) so very sleepy - she was awake for maybe a total of 5/6 hours today. we were told to expect that for the first week. She did lie on her tummy on a cushion for a while and play a bit, so that was good to see.

Aimiable, glad to hear dd is doing ok, its great the op got moved forward and great to hear dd was playing happily on her front today So is the nappy on the outside holding up anotherone underneath? as had heard all sorts of 'how to' stick a nappy up a cast storys!

Flame, glad you have wine sounds like your dd and my dd1 are on the same lines re food, she got back from nursery tonight and demanded lots of food, so she had her treat do-nut (bad mummy ) an apple fruit pouch, a banana and a packet of fruit flakes and was still after more food, but I said no! you've eaten lunch and tea already!!!

I've got a 1/2 full bag - what have I forgotten?

I've got a small lunchbox of bits for the boys to share, some crisps/rice cakes, wipes, nappies, bottle and powder, a carton of milk incase the bottle leaks,ds2's sippy cup for lunchtime (but might leave it and he can have some evian when I buy some!),spare trousers for ds1, ds1's flask of juice, A-Z incase I go somewhere odd on the way home. And some clothes for Flame, but they're not even in the bag.1/2 carier bag hanging on the buggy. Plus my purse/bag, and the hipseat for going on the eye after the buggy is left. And an apple for me. Might have to eat that on the way!!
