EEEEEEWWWWWW! CSWS

I gave ds nappy free time this am, and he stood on my lap and pood on my skirt. At least he didn't eat it though!

A profit is a profit. Well done.

mrm - didn't you say you were going to stop ebaying?????

I've forgotten everything else, but don't want to do more than one post. Generally the harder I try not to double post, the more it happens, so apologies in advance just in case.

My brother has just offered to pay for the dds to go to Disneyland Paris in the summer, and dp doesn't want to go I can see this causing arguments.

Why do you have /keep stirilisers? Get rid of them!

Card for 3 yr old...have 1 yellow and 6-8 coloured paper circles, and a green pipe cleaner (or stick of card) ready, and glue to a coloured card to make a flower.
Write name inside.

2boysmacca · 03/03/2007 20:18

Why why why does he not want to go?

I think they save all their wees and poops until nappy free time.

Took ds's to look at the activity centre today. Finn was sooo excited, he tried everyone of them and decided upon the cheapest {smile] but also the one that would last him 5 minutes I think we may have talked him into the one we wanted to get. Ds2 was tryign to break free from us and go climbing.

Ds2 been a little grumpy man. After his early morning this morning, he has refiused to sleep all day so the poor little mite has been shattered. Evening bath with daddy was very traumatic. He kept lying down, screaming and then bumping his head because he was flaying so much

Taking boys swimming tomorrow. Dh is on mrning duty. He was supposed to be on duty this morning but was in such a foul mood this morning, I took ds myself. I did go back to bed at 6.30 and got up at 7.30 so it wasn't too bad.

Ds2 full of cold, blocked nose and a few moving teeth I think so he has been mediseded and hopefully he'll sleep until 8

Oh, also bough ds2 some new shoes today. £22.00 . This is now pair no.3 (2nd pair I have bought though, he has been wearing his brothers but they are just too small now) He'll need some more in a few weeks!

Won't be back on, trying to cut down. Famous last words

Happy Birthday Alfie

Happy Birthday Neve

Frizbe · 03/03/2007 20:42

CSWS Yuuuuuukkkkkkkkkkkkkk

Macca, £22 ouch! do you have a Brantano near you? good for cheaper shoes, do some good hushpuppies in there.

Phoenix thanks for the link

Flame, yay for profit

Chloe, ick for mud, but at exercise bug.

Jas, couldn't you persuade him, just for the girls sake?? go with that angle, see if he gets it, if you've not done so already, its not about him, its about them!

MRM, ahhhhh, sorry here was I assuming every week, ho hum, fingers x'd babysitter enjoys it so much it will be every week or every other week?

We could always have a mini thread next entitled Happy Birthday Neve n Alfie
Have baked two cakes today (one for general munching and the actual birthday cake), and brought all the food for nibbles tomorrow, open house all day, so will see who drifts by, have about 15 confirmed and quite a few maybes!
Nearly disaster this am, as the water was off when we woke up, but give Severn Trent their dues, it was back on by 10:30ish, so I now have a batch of unsued bottled water I brought in haste!! will get used camping this summer tho, so no worries.
Feeling quite nostalgic today, what with dd2 being so grown up tomorrow, a friend of mine's waters have broken today as well, so we may well have a birthday clash next year fingers x's for her she labours tonight, or she'll be induced tomorrow....

PhoenixGirl · 03/03/2007 21:09

Does anyone think one of these is worth buying for Lewis for the summer (answer me tomorrow so the thread doesn't fill up )

I've sorted thru a bag of Lewis' old clothes today to pick out the white and cream ones for my friend who's having a baby girl in June. I can't believe he used to fit in them they're tiny.

Lewis was with my parents til 3pm today so i got a bit of house work done too (in my pj's but i still did it )

It feels like Sunday today cos i've been at home all day and i'll probably be at home all day tomorrow cos dh is working 7-7.

Lewis really should have more nappy free time but then again maybe not if he's gonna poo all over His bum's sore again and unsurprisingly my mum says its the cloth nappies. She's had him in disps all day even tho i provided cloth ones and then put him in a cloth one to bring him home in, like i wouldn't notice there were 3 unused cloth nappies in his bag.

Glad the runnings going well chloe, for the trainer.

Gosh that's a long post for me

CanSleepWeirdShifts · 03/03/2007 23:11

Am I allowed another post then as my earlier one was so brief?!

Jelley - do you mean 8oz in total, or each? I think (according to my NCT weaning book) it's supposed to be about 350ml now - not sure what that is in oz.
Why doesn't dp want to go away? I'd say go without him then!

PG Tips monkeys mrm . How much for then?!
Good to hear about ds1's obsession with Pippa .
Wasn't feeling well enough to do WHSmiths today. Had a quick look in case they sold it in Waitrose, but no joy.

PG - I washed her hands and face/mouth (and cup, as she was washing it down with water ), and got dh to come and clear up the floor and wipe her bum whilst I held her up. She'd had sweetcorn yesterday - wondering if she was picking the pieces out to eat again .
They have one of those play things out sometimes at one of the groups that we go to. DD enjoys it, as do the older children, so I'd say yes, it's a good piece of kit to have.

Yay for profit flame - don't spend it all at once now .

I'm now on a heady mix of amoxicillin, sudafed, 4head and a nasal spray. Seems to be helping this evening.

Off to in-laws for lunch tomorrow, so will say now...
Happy Birthday Neve Happy Birthday Alfie

Flamesparrow · 03/03/2007 23:23

You couldn't have mentioned that earlier?? I could have already splashed out on a small bar of green n black's by now

Jas - would you be going to disneyland too or just them?

CSWS - still eeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwww

Jelley · 04/03/2007 07:18

Morning,

HAPPY* BIRTHDAY NEVE AND ALFIE

Right - Disneyland. DBs plan was that we go to him for our summer holiday (1-2 weeks) and go home via a two day stay at Eurodisney. He doesn't want to go because he's a miserab;e old git We go and stay every summer and he loves it once we are there, but isn't good at relaxing - he usually works in dbs house and I play with the kids. He won't fly again, and our car won't do the journey again safely, so we'd have to buy a new car, or go on the train. He doen't get paid hols either so not only do we pay, but he has no money coming in either (dp pays him to do stuff there, but we spend it while we are there) Soo far my compromise with dp is that we miss the holiday in Geneva, and just do a weekend at Disney on the train.
Not sure if db will be ok with this though

PG the play cube thing - do you have a very small garden? We do and my neighbour has one. It is ok, and L would probably play with it alot this summer , but by next summer it will be too small and left virtually untouched. A bigger slide would last longer even though it would look too big for him this year, he'd still enjoy it with help.

350 ml is 12 oz....he's having 8oz per bottle(x2-3)
Well he's definitely getting enough them

Did anyone see the eclipse last night? I did and I tried to wake the dds, but they weren't interested.

2boysmacca · 04/03/2007 07:54

Pg we bought ds one of those a couple of years ago to keep at my mum and dads house. He still uses it now when we go back so I think they are a really good idea (we put the paddling pool underneath and let them slide in). If you have the time or inclination, I'd try scouring car boot sales, they come up a lot and for a bargain price. Another toy I would buy without a doubt are the tiny tikes car coupes. We bought ours from a car boot for £7.00 and he has had soooo much use of it, even now at 3 he drives up and down the patio!

Jelley · 04/03/2007 07:58

My 6 yr old will cram herself into one of those cars if she can
