Frizbe · 09/02/2007 23:03

I have no idea, Kandoo and dew are missing too?

PhoenixGirl · 09/02/2007 23:08

Ok i'm gonna go to bed now. On the plus side of Lew been at my mums i've got the day off work tomorrow so will get a lie in

Frizbe · 09/02/2007 23:11

hurrah for lie ins, doubt I'll get one here, think the prospect of snow will be far to enticing

Flamesparrow · 10/02/2007 08:46

HAPPY BIRTHDAY EVIE!!

I was wondering where the others were too... and now seen Soupy since before she won the prize.

Fridge has packed up... DD is in her element because she can eat all the yoghurts today Askin on freecycle - they always seem to be giving away fridges.

DD is whinging about everything - she's hungry, she's thirsty, DS is wrecking her train, she wants to do puzzles (DS needs to be asleep for that), she wants to play at grans... Why couldn't it bloody snow here - could chuck her outside and be done

DH has gone to get the tyre fixed

Jelley · 10/02/2007 08:54

Morning.
Happy birthday EVie

Read and am now going back to bed. I'll look at all the pics later...

PhoenixGirl · 10/02/2007 11:15

Happy Birthday Evie

Lewis was fine at my mums apart from sleeping most of the night in his pushchair cos he wouldn't settle in the cot. He woke up about midnight, around the same time my brother got in from work, and was playing for an hour or so with him then went back to sleep around 2am then slept thru to 7.20am.

Chloe55 · 10/02/2007 11:21

Happy Birthday Evie.

Well we are a very unhappy household. Picked ds up from nursery yesterday and he is really poorly Took him to the doc and he has a viral infection, so no party here today. Seems like such a downer, have spent a fortnight organising it and now I'm on my own, ds is in bed feeling like poo and dh has decided to go on the football Poor ds.

PhoenixGirl · 10/02/2007 11:27

Oh no poor oscar, hope he gets better for his birthday.

mustrunmore · 10/02/2007 11:33

Well, at least if something lke that happens next week, it wont matter, as i've put zero effort into his birthday . Actually, anyone got any ideas please? We're just aving a drop in day on Sat for friends, rather than a party. So, i need ideas for food that will last all day without going manky, and that can be eaten at anytime during the day! For adults and kids please!

Flamesparrow · 10/02/2007 12:06

We're doin sod all - my sister is home as its her birthday too, so probably family things... she has requested jelly and icecream , and we're playing board games in the evening (my request) - but that is sod all to do with DS!! Haven't arranged seeing my dad yet, or Psychomum (her DD2's birthday too!!!).

SoupDragon · 10/02/2007 12:28

for any sickly babies
for any birthday babies
for winning that prize but shhhh.... I've given it away to another mumsnetter but am not intending to announce this fact anywhere outside this thread if she doesn't. Didn't do it for pats-on-the-back Let's say no more about it...

Flame - having velcro problems with the wrap but boy is it impractical!

Flamesparrow · 10/02/2007 13:10

Thats really nice

Chloe55 · 10/02/2007 14:15

Someone just turned up who I must have missed off my mammoth text to let people know party is off. Was nice to see them though as I don't get to see her often and her baby is full of cold so don't think she was too bothered about entering a germ filled house.

Flamesparrow · 10/02/2007 15:33

DS is hot and snotty - you ok with me bringin germs???

Forgot to say for the wrap.

MrCSWS · 10/02/2007 16:44

of course ... see you tomorrow (you can't try and wiggle out that way ).

CSWS will be on later.

Flamesparrow · 10/02/2007 16:46

I was assumin it would be ok - suddenly had visions of you being desperately offended with my snot monster.

The way DD is going she will no longer be alive tomorrow, so will not be coming

Chloe55 · 10/02/2007 18:08

My god, I think I am having the worst day on record! Meant to still be having a few friends round tonight and one couple have just rung to say they aren't coming and one couple are saying they aren't drinking!!!

So, not only have I sat in all day on my own (ds has been asleep most of it) and lovingly prepared my spare room for friends (which, believe me, took a lot of preparation as it was a complete tip) but now I will be getting pissed on my own! GGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

Just feel like going to be now and telling everyone to fuck off.

Really sorry for that outburst but that's exactly how I feel at the moment,

Jelley · 10/02/2007 18:23

Sorry you've had such a rough day Chloe.

mustrunmore · 10/02/2007 18:29

Oh, Chloe Put yourself in a box and courier yourself down here

Chloe55 · 10/02/2007 18:40

I'd love to MRM

PhoenixGirl · 10/02/2007 19:02

Awwww chloe u'll have to come on here and have a drink with me

Lewis is in a much better mood today although he's still got his cough, bedtime will be the test. He's just had his milk (his 1st cows milk feed now he's 1) and now i'm gonna drug him ready for bed

At least csws got enough pc's/laptops for u to get on mn flame while u're there. u know u can't keep off it

Frizbe · 10/02/2007 19:16

Happy Birthday Evie
Chloe, sorry ds is ill and sorry your mates have let you down get on the mumsnet bar, it'll all be lots better after a few vats of wine
Flame, boo for fridge, but happy birthday to your sis and psychos dd2
Hi to everyone else, gotta dash as dd1 to bed still and she's whinging have fun evenings!

Flamesparrow · 10/02/2007 19:24

Fridge sorted - freecycle to the rescue

mustrunmore · 10/02/2007 19:49

Fantastic! Trouble with freecycle here is that there's too many takers; i never get in quick enough!!! I did get a bucket bath for ds2 when he was little though, but dh wasnt too impressed at having to come home from work a totally different way to collect it for me!

Flame; what are your views on shirts on babies?

mustrunmore · 10/02/2007 19:58

Can I just show off for a minute?

Sorry the album is still called 'for Flame', as its really now to show you all our fantastic snowman
so skilful!
