Yes think it was your mobile mrm, as I don't think I've got your home no programmed in, but it came up with your name. It just confused me for a minute as I was in the middle of writing a text at the time, and thought for a moment that I'd called you by mistake!
for ds1 - sounds quite horrid. Glad that ds2 seems brighter though. Maybe it's all relative!

3k - it sounds like your dh is confused about what he wants as much as you are confused about what is going on. I would suggest that you both take a good while to think about it before taking any drastic action.
Is that true about getting the house whilst ds is a minor btw? Is that what the CAB told you?

Well I have to say that I'm not feeling 100%. My mouth/tongue feels really really odd. Sort of like the whole of it has been burnt, and I'm sure that my tongue is whiter than usual, but redder than usual underneath the white iyswim. Can also feel my throat swelling and have a dry cough, so guess it's some sort of virus thing. The tongue feeling is constant and horrid though!

Oh dear At least you're ill on the weeekend, when - I assume- Mrcsws is around to help?
ds1's temp has dropped a bit and they're now apparently waiting for some antibiotics.Seems to be a urinary infection.

Are you asking about the house re 3k because you're thinking of dumping Mrcsws?!

MyNamesNotDaveItsRodney · 24/02/2007 21:02

uploading pics and talking to MoM a minute... will be on proper in a bit.

3K

MRM - hope you have heard some news

MyNamesNotDaveItsRodney · 24/02/2007 21:02

Oh you have

CanSleepWontStarve · 24/02/2007 21:08

I assume you meant 'on the weekend, when MrCSWS is around to watch rugby'?

lol at dumping him! No, was just interested as hadn't heard that before.

Good thread for a giggle .

Right back

CSWS - for your mouth

MRM - Hope both your babies perk up soon!!

Today went fairly well - DS has been his little smiley self all day. DD has had a few issues understanding the lack of presents for her, but all in all she has been a star.

DH's dad came for the afternoon, brought rugby shirts for them both (which look soooo sweet, even if Emrys' does drown him!!)

I'm wiped out - the cold has hit proper so I am all feeling sorry for myself, tired and tearful - feeling like I have sort of missed my baby's day

Just uploading pics now

MyNamesNotDaveItsRodney · 24/02/2007 22:46

Boy is whinging that the guild can't hearing because my uploading is messing up teamspeak

Will get pics up tomorrow then!

10mg broadband in a couple of weeks then there'll be no stoppin me

MyNamesNotDaveItsRodney · 25/02/2007 00:27

Oh, and a quick about my mad ramblings about nappies the past few days... my hormones are well and truly back to normal which leads to paranoia around ovulation!!! What the hell was all that losing business stuff about?!?! I'm honestly not that crazy and obsessive... I have 2-3 days a month where it all goes horribly wrong and I am convinced the world is out to get me

MyNamesNotDaveItsRodney · 25/02/2007 00:47

Pics in Rodneys member profile bit (inc cake and a recent DH shot so MRM can see non-pirate version ... he got asked for ID tonight )

mustrunmore · 25/02/2007 08:57

How big was that slice of cake??!!
He looked very cute. I recognise that shirt!
And what can I say about Mrnonpirate? If I say he's not as nice normal it'll offend you, if I say he's my type, you'll get all defensive He does look like a less blondy and allround nicer version of my exh though.

Another very bad night here.

2boysmacca · 25/02/2007 09:02

birthday photos

Good night here.

MyNamesNotDaveItsRodney · 25/02/2007 11:50

lol - If I say I prefer pirate version does that help? for your night.

Off to look at macca's pics

mustrunmore · 25/02/2007 19:29

Lovely pics Whats with the no-trousers-standing-like-you're-weeing shot??!!

Flame, or whoever you are now, does he look like a more svelt version of that cameraman on Most Haunted? The one who joined series 6 or 7ish? Or is that only because I've only seen him on a night vision camera!!

God, I'm knackered. In summary: ds1 in our bed again all night, got the shakes really bed in the early hours, ds2 up early as usual (4.40am), ds1 had a friend round for a bit, which did him good psychologically, but exhausted him, we have to hold him down to take medicine while he screams, dh is saying he'll never take a kid to hospital again because it was so traumatic he was nearly in tears, ds2 just wouldnt have his PM nap till 5pm, so we had to wake him for food, and he screamed the place down, and then we found spots all over his torso both sides (no idea what; not like chicken pox).
Is that the longest whingy sentence ever?

mustrunmore · 25/02/2007 19:32

Just had another peek. Ok, he doesnt look that much like him. But he still has pirate eyes, even in RL He's a natural. Is his family North or South Wales? Maybe an ancestor just skipped up from Cornwall, after getting fed up of a pirates life?

2boysmacca · 25/02/2007 19:42

You a truly a (sexually??) frustrated woman mrm!

Sounds liek you're having a tough time with the boys Hope they get better soona nd you can get a better nights sleep. Sympathise with the early mornings.

I told, you, my kids don't wear trousers. Ds1 takes them off the moment he can and once ds2 has had his nap I can't be bothered to get his trosuers back on. I thought he looked like a sumo . He's learnt to stand without pulling up and he just kept doing it oevr and over again yestaerday. What better way to spend your birthday

Had my parents here today. They were staying over after the party and babysitting whilst we went out to a surprise 30th party. Dh and my dad were out trying to clear the bottom half of the garden today so we can get the play centre ordered. They started at 8am and after 9 trips to the tip with a trailer they called it a day at 4.30. It looks great but still a lot of work to do on it

mustrunmore · 25/02/2007 19:48

Should've sent ds1 over to you (if not ill); his ideal day is 'doing busy jobs in the garden'

Not frustrated; you can just never have too much of a good thing

2boysmacca · 25/02/2007 19:57

gasp
whispers "we don't talk about that sort of fing as ladies"

Chloe55 · 25/02/2007 20:21

Loving th pics

Ds slept sooooo badly last night, he has been really off it today too - only managed to get him to eat 2 bananas all day and that was hard enough He has had bright red (almost purple) cheeks all day so have dosed him up presuming it's just teething.

Come to think of it ds has been really bad at eating for about a month now. I know today he is poorly but as a general rule it is starting to get harder to get him to eat lunch/tea. He eats breakfast well and he seems to eat well enough at nursery - they don't seem concerned but he eats badly at home with me. Mum has said to have more meals with him, as a family, but this is next to impossible - I don't get my lunch until3pm coz of work and dh doesn't get in until6.30/7pm so that's when we have tea and ds is in bed then. Any suggestions to encourage him to get his appetite back? He has always been on the larger size for his age but now he barely fits 9-12mth clothes because they are too big for him

CanSleepWeirdShifts · 25/02/2007 20:25

Evening ladies.

for all the horrid illness in your household mrm. Are you going to take ds2 to the docs tomorrow now that he's got spots too?

Great pics flame. Can't help thinking that ds looks like he's in bondage gear in the first pic though .

Your hair is great macca, though not at all short like I had been expecting!
Your garden must be enormous to need that much clearing. Have you chosen what you are getting to go in it?

Well dd seems to be out of all normal daytime routine at the moment. After being woken early every morning at my parents and consequently needing 2 naps most days, she's now still having 2 naps (despite sleeping a little later here), but the timings and lengths of them are all over the place. Today she slept from 11:10-12:15 and 4:00-4:30. Odd.

2boysmacca · 25/02/2007 20:25

I reckon you'll have cycles where they eat and don't eat. It gets more and more frustrating as they get older but each phase passes. It's surprising how many nutrients they can get out of so little food. The best thing you can do is relax about it and accept it as a fact of their little lives. Wise words, but it frustrates the hell out of me when ds! refuses toe at anything I give him

CanSleepWeirdShifts · 25/02/2007 20:27

Is he still drinking lots of milk Chloe?
Does he have similar sort of food at nursery to at home? Are you spoon feeding him or is he doing it himself?

PhoenixGirl · 25/02/2007 20:27

Quick question, is everyone still using a cot bumper? I read a while ago that you're supposed to take them off once they can sit unaided so finally after 7 mth of him sitting i've just took it off. I've got a supply of 4 dummys by his cot instead of scraping around on the floor in the middle of the night cos the bumper went all the way round his cot so they never fell onto the floor before.

2boysmacca · 25/02/2007 20:29

Play centre

Hair is short for me. It was down past my droopy boobs before I got it cut

CanSleepWeirdShifts · 25/02/2007 20:30

Never used one PG, as had heard that they increased risk of SIDS due to restricting air flow around the cot. Why do you have to take them off when they are sitting? Surely they'd be more likely to need it as they get more mobile, as that's when they start banging themselves on the bars?
