You don't know how big the cake is

3k · 23/02/2007 23:11

Blimey a quiet day on here!!!

MRM - hope your LO's are better tonight, thank you for posting me the shoes.

CSWS - yes we are going to speak tomorrow, we are also going out for a drink with friends (who dont know the situation) tomorrow night so I hope tomorrow we can make a start on sorting things out.

Well poor DS's bum has been bleeding where his poos are too big spoke to HV today and she recommended Lactoluse (sp) so he took a spoonful earlier and actually had dinner too so hopefully by Sun it will have done the trick. He screams whenever he strains to poo poor little thing so I hope it does the trick. Pharmacist recommended Vaseline around his back passage which I had already started to use and does ease it a little.

3k · 23/02/2007 23:12

Hi Flame - cake sounds great!!! Hope you are feeling better xxx

Frizbe · 23/02/2007 23:14

3K ouch, for poor ds, hope the lacto stuff kicks in soon for him.
Good luck with sorting things out this weekend {{{{Hugs}}}}}

Was it barrel sized then Dave/Rodders??

Frizbe · 23/02/2007 23:16

Happy Birthday for Saturday to Emrys and Isabel as well cause I'm off looking at Pirate Kit tomorrow amongst other things, so won't be on!

3k · 23/02/2007 23:17

Thanks Frizbe. He said he still loves me, that is a start. Apparantly the problems he has arent too big a deal either so we are going to have a proper chat tomorrow, I told him everything needs to be laid on the table. Fingers crossed.

Anyway, I'm off to bed, feeling very tired. Think this week is taking its toll. Neck killing me too, off to osteopath Tues.

Night all xxx

MyNamesNotDaveItsRodney · 23/02/2007 23:19

Pirate Kit?!?!?!

I was sooo tempted to buy "how to be a pirate" for MRM today, but I have a ltitle collection of piratey goods building up, and am starting to think she'll just think I'm a mad piratey stalker

More of a plank sized cake Frizbe

3K - hope drinks go ok. I'm completely uselss, I just spotted those liners I promised you weeks ago

3k · 23/02/2007 23:25

No worries Flame - LOL I had completely forgot!!!

Sorry was going to bed but my friend on the Oct 06 thread told me to have a nose as they got bombarded with the weaning police today. Had to have a look

Definately off now

MyNamesNotDaveItsRodney · 23/02/2007 23:26

Oooh off to look

MyNamesNotDaveItsRodney · 23/02/2007 23:32

lmao @ the thread Most of the other threads move so slow though they probably will be six months before the end!

PhoenixGirl · 24/02/2007 06:19

Happy Birthday Emrys Happy Birthday Isabel

Jelley · 24/02/2007 06:38

HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMRYS AND ISABEL

I hope everyone enjoys the weekend.

I won't be around today or tomorrow.
I'm visiting an old school friend - there will be four of us with 7 children between us. She says she has enough room for us all I haven't seen her for two years, but we always pick up things really easily. I'm looking forward to a nice break!

3k - thanks for the thrush answer. I will try it. I hope things go ok for you with your dh today.

Jelley · 24/02/2007 06:39

CanSleepWontStarve · 24/02/2007 08:27

Happy Birthday Emrys and Isabel

mrm - forgot to ask if you knew that Bram had phoned me on Wednesday? Heard you in the background going 'Brambles darling...'

Morgan - I think I also forgot to send you my numbers again so that we could meet up whilst you were over. I'm assuming that you're back now so I'm too late, but will send them now anyway so that you have them for future.

Ah, more birthdays

Did I mention that for his birthday, ds2 got a Backyardigans music thing, one button of which plays one of them singing a pirate song ska style! Its appalling...

Oh crap, csws. Was that on my mobile? I never usually let him get that, as I'm on pay as you go He just fiddles with the landline as a rule. Sorry about that

Chloe55 · 24/02/2007 12:36

Happy Birthday to Emrys and Isabel, no time to chat - ds has woken.

damewashalot · 24/02/2007 13:13

Happy birtghday!

Wow not many left to go now and they'll all be 1 Neve and Alfie being the last of course and not really feb babes but never mind
You did know that I am not actually cruel enough to call my child Alfred didn't you? Sounds odd at the doc when they call him
Must go haven't got time to be on here but wanted to say happy b'day to Emrys.

PhoenixGirl · 24/02/2007 14:33

Ah Dame i meant to ask a while ago if u call him Alfie

3k · 24/02/2007 14:44

Well things are not looking good ladies, he said he loves me but not sure in what way anymore. He was talking about selling house and I said that I could take him to court etc and me and DS would more than likely be granted to stay here for 17 years and that didnt please him. I think he thought he would sell and we would both have some money in our pockets and that would be it but he would be making me homeless and I do have rights. He still isnt saying that is it but I think that may be where it will lead. Perhaps I should just accept I need to move on, I may meet a lovely fireman in at the future and live happily ever after but at the moment that seems like forever away.

3k · 24/02/2007 14:45

Happy Birthday Emrys and Isabel

PhoenixGirl · 24/02/2007 14:47

Awwww 3k (((((((hugs)))))))

2boysmacca · 24/02/2007 17:30

3k sorry to hear that . You may still benefit from marriage counselling even if he won't. It might change your view on the issues you have.

mustrunmore · 24/02/2007 20:14

3k. You know, it might still all be a flash in the pan. But if not, I'm sure you're in a very strong position. Have you discussed the postion re ds? (sorry if i've missed that bit )

Where's Flame then? Anyone would think a kids birthday was more important to her than mumsnet

ds1 is currently in the hospital walk-in clinic His temperature has been sporadic, but going sky high, and he hasnt eaten since Thursday lunchtime. We ended up calling barndoc in the end, the doctor called us back, and suggested we take him. So dh is there, I'm here with ds2, who seems alot better given that he was the one I was worried about in the first place. They've given him medicine of some sort (god knows how, as we've wasted a whole bottle trying to get it down him), and he was sobbing his heart out in the background. i think he might have what our neighbours kids had, as I remember it mentioned that they got a tummy rash/spots (=panic by the Mum), but it went away. Noticed one on ds1 just as we were getting him dressed to go out. The hosp obv doesnt think thats a problem.
