dried fruit might be better for ds i'll look tomorrow.

Yay it's my day off work tomorrow

CanSleepWontStarve · 22/02/2007 22:40

Be careful with dried fruit though - it's really hight in iron, which causes constipation!!!

Frizbe · 22/02/2007 22:42

Phoenix I'd just keep going with the water rather than bothering with juice, it surely does the same thing? sultanas are good for keeping bottoms regular too (yoghurt coated ones go down well here)
Ellenrose, he only charged me £11.75, cheapest sparky ever!!!! hope yours is fixed as cheaply
Macca at your uncles card, even tho I really shouldn't...great dental record, I'm 32 with two fillings and I thought that was good! glad the hair is looking better too I've done gym today too, slowly the weight is coming off
Flame, think what CSWS has posted re the shop advertising is about the right tack

3k · 22/02/2007 23:02

Jelley- forgot to reply re thrush. I am immune to most of the drugs out there now, doc gave me Sporanox last time which actually did clear it. I always find tea-tree on a tampon overnight really soothes it. Doc made me go to GUM clinic this week as it keeps returning. I was sitting there with all these men thinking "hmmmm wonder what you have?!!!" Last place I wanted to go but they swabbed and checked and guess what - it was clear!!!! YAY!!! Finally after all these months it has gone (for now).

CSWS - not sure what the link is re thrush and diabetes. I know thrush feeds on sugar so it has something to do with that. Also I have had a few abscesses, one down there and one on my c-section scar and that can be a sign but doc reckons it will be fine, just best to rule it out.

Frizbe · 22/02/2007 23:05

3K hurrah for being clear for now, hope you get things sorted this weekend.

3k · 22/02/2007 23:09

Thanks Frizbe, I'm feeling a bit down again tonight. I think when DS goes to bed it just plays on my mind. I dont want to throw 5 years of marriage down the drain but I have made it clear that I dont want any more lies so we will have to see what he thinks. He will be here at 8.30am to look after DS whilst I clean then I'll get back and he will go to work so tomorrow is out for chatting. I'm going to let him decide when we talk, I'm not going to push him.

3k · 22/02/2007 23:11

I asked DS to put a piece of paper in the bin earlier and he went and did it Isn't it great when they learn new things???? He also put the phone to my ear and says "daddy"

Frizbe · 22/02/2007 23:11

sounds like a good plan 3k, take it steady as you can for now eh.....I can't imagine how hard this must be for you, but your doing great, so stick with it.

Frizbe · 22/02/2007 23:12

Awww bless him, its fab when they start learning to do things, dd2 has finally started responding to her name when we're out in playplaces, hurrah!!! I'm not talking to myself any more!

Frizbe · 22/02/2007 23:17

Happy Birthday to Imogen thought I'd get that in just in case I don't get on tomorrow! things have been that haywire here the last few days....
nite 3k, catch you tomorrow!

3k · 22/02/2007 23:18

I'm off to bed too, cleaning tomorrow. Night night xx

mustrunmore · 23/02/2007 07:16

I'm around, dont fret Just have a whingy ds2 and a constantly vomiting ds1(in our bed too ) So wont be on here much. 3k; got your address will get dh to post them tomorrow!

Jelley · 23/02/2007 07:17

But did you go to the Doctors?

mustrunmore · 23/02/2007 07:21

Nope, becuse ds1 starting throwing up so badly. He cant even stand up properly, let alone leave the house. I'm going to see how he is if he wakes by 8.45 (emergency appointment booking time). I know he's just got a bug/eaten something, so he doesnt need a doc, before you point out that he's ill too! Ds2 seems alot better btw.

Jelley · 23/02/2007 07:25

I wouldn't tell you to take a vomiting child to the doctors. You aren't daft, you know what they would say

I hope they are both better soon.

Frizbe · 23/02/2007 15:27

Oh cripes MRM, pukey as well not at all fun in your household, I shall keep thinking of you in your worse situation when dd1 wakes again, got back from nursery and started complaining about earache....and has gotten steadily worse since then has just screamed for an hour, reminisciant of Mariah Carey at her worst, prior to passing out, due to calpol and nurofen overdose provided by mummy lets hope she wakes refreshed with not a hint of pain

mustrunmore · 23/02/2007 15:38

Well, at least they both slept an hour at the same time, so I got my Tesco order done! (Got a code for half price delivery at the weekend, which makes the same cost as the bus, so thats go to be worth it with 2 ill kids )I really miss ds1 not napping in the day!!

My Mum said there was something about lots of Warwickshire hosp wards being closed due to excessive vomiting... a friend from Warwickshire came to visit yest. Reckon she was a carrier??!

MyNamesNotDaveItsRodney · 23/02/2007 17:37

Tired n tearful - sorry, no proper replies.

MyNamesNotDaveItsRodney · 23/02/2007 19:05

Jas - if you're about can you email me... going to be ordering some of the seconds and will add in yours if you are wanting to get some (I don't need paying for them now, but it is easier to order a load together iysim)

Jelley · 23/02/2007 19:14

Will do. Just off to check what I wanted...

2boysmacca · 23/02/2007 20:57

Just in the middle of making Luca's Birthday cake. I've never been this disorganised in my life. Once it's out the oven, I have to clean the mould then bake the next layer....and it's already past by bedtime

CanSleepWontStarve · 23/02/2007 22:02

Back home now.

You ok flame?

How are your boys now mrm?

Hope dd1's ear is improving Frizbe.

Is it tomorrow you and dh are going to talk 3k? Hope it goes well if so.

Frizbe · 23/02/2007 22:07

Crikey Macca cake making at this time of night!! that'll be me next week then

MRM glad they gave you a break! dd1 slept for 3 hrs, and then has only just dropped off again now....nurofen is doing the trick now tho, and a big lump of cotton wool sticking out of her ear, to make her feel better.

Hope no ones got rellies on that train on the news

Flame, {{{Hugs}}}} hope your feeling better after a good sleep tonight.

MyNamesNotDaveItsRodney · 23/02/2007 22:59

I'm a lot happier... my norks are looking interesting so I think it could be a hormone thing Will know for sure if I break out the pirate suit over the next few days

Sorry for name confusion PG... decided to jump on the dave bandwagon (even though I have no idea what its about ) and am likin bein rodney

Small party at Psycho's today... stuck pirates on a normal cake and made a skull n crossbones out of cake decs (it kinda works) - using the cake again tomorrow so will put up pics then. Got photos of DS in a gift bag too (as in him carried in it!), but they are on psycho's camera so will have to wait a few days.

Forgotten most things - Frizbe, nurofen goood stuff.
