We havent had a check since 8 weeks. Think some areas still do 8 months and ours now do a 12 month one.

PhoenixGirl · 20/02/2007 23:11

Hi 3k,

Birthday wishes to Bram and Luca

Have so much tidying to do so gonna get off and get some done before work. Oh I nearly forgot to say - I ran a mile without stopping on Sunday - that's pathetic I'm sure to all you fit ladies and runners but to me it was a huge achievement

Flamesparrow · 21/02/2007 08:29

Happy Birthday Luca!
Happy Birthday Bram!

Interestin Dave thread

I hate disps It fell off him whilst he was playing with DD... sht all in his sleepsuit, up his stomach, down his leg! My lovely cloth would NEVER do that! I know you have to wash the poo, but it is contained* poo!!! It was a sleepsuit that was getting too small anyway so I ended up just chucking the lot

He woke at about 11.30-12ish and we did a bit of shush pat to settle, and he then woke at 6.30

Feeds... I'm pretty much done I think / It seems to have reached a natural end. Just one feed first thing in the morning for the last few days, and cows milk once at bedtime. I'm carrying on until his birthday though

Another dry night here

Her friend is staying the night tonight so we'll see how it goes when she is excitable

Hope bumped baby is ok

3K - big big big hugs.

Blue n purple nippa wbbs are up with pics, and size 2 plain with velcro available for £6 each.

CanSleepWontStarve · 21/02/2007 08:44

Read that last bit as blue n purple Pippa, and wondered how you knew she had walked into the door this morning, and smacked her face good and proper .

Off to play with old school friend today, so not back til late afternoon at least. DD may even get her first taste of McDonalds .

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 21/02/2007 09:27

Well ds1 will ,match pippa then; fell off the chair whilst swinging on it during tea last night

Thanks for the happy birthdays. Dont think he knows its his day, as ds1 has taken all the new stuff off him already

3k; will check the shoes, not sure if g or h. Yes, boys, lol!

Jelley · 21/02/2007 09:31

Happy Birthday Bram and Luca

damewashalot · 21/02/2007 09:36

Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you.......

I have a sleeping baby, shout at me if i come back without doing some jobs
Bumped head seems ok just a bit purple.

PhoenixGirl · 21/02/2007 09:47

Nappies have come Flame

Do i need any other sort of liner in the motherease ones or just a fleece one cos they haven't got that extra bit like the tots and wbb's.

Flamesparrow · 21/02/2007 11:35

DS is always purple

The motherease don't have a detatched booster? Was it the dry you have? (I have some without boosters not like my meos, so I have been trying to work out what they are!!) But no, just the normal liner - if it dosn't say that you need another booster with it, then you don't.

Things are going really well... not vast amounts of profits yet (partly due to advertising costs etc), but actual order amounts iyswim are looking good Very positive.

MRM - DS will have most of his toys swiped too (the pirate ship by me )

Did I say we had a third dry night??

PhoenixGirl · 21/02/2007 11:42

yes the dry ones i have.

I'm liking the blue and purple wbb's but dh would kill me

Flamesparrow · 21/02/2007 11:54

They do look really cool I did my motherease one at the same time... but cocked up and most of the dye is inside

Jelley · 21/02/2007 12:02

I TRIED TO DO SOME OF MINE, BUT THERE IS TOO MUCH DYE AND NOT ENOUGH TIE. THEY ARE RED(I was dying a sheet for a roman costume for dd1) and I know they will turn his others pink.
(sorry about caps - too lazy to retype)

Macca - your clothes/pj debate is still going

2boysmacca · 21/02/2007 13:51

Afternoon All!

Happy Birthdday Bram

Day started very stressful with ds1 having a tantrum that started at 6.35 and finished at 7.30 when he informed me that 'my crying has gone outside now' I would liek to say I dealt with it well but I didn't and he was sent to his room with a smacked bum . Everytime he came to the top of the stairs I would opent he hallway door and he would run up to his room and slam the door!

Ds1 has also nabbed his brothers birthday present but then that was expected as he chose it himself (Spence r the engine for his train track).

We've just got back from a delightful lunch at Ask. Birthday boy devoured a whole bowl of pasta whilst I struglled with eating only half my pizza. Ds1 had garlic bread (he's not fussed on pizza).

Haircut for ds1 this afternoon, his curls have returned and they need chopping OFF OFF OFF.

I'm not coping with my short hair

Good to see the thread is still going strong. So what is the MN etiquette? To keep adding to it as you've started it or let them get on with it

Flamesparrow · 21/02/2007 15:10

Noooooooooooooooooooooo no curl removal!!

Which thread going strong?

Why aren't you coping with short hair?

Jelley - The purple ones came out all tie and no dye!

2boysmacca · 21/02/2007 15:52

Too late. All curls disappeared that is until he gets hot and sweaty and then they try and reproduce!

Can't tie my flamin' hair back, have to wash and dry it every day and there are too many layers so my curls are trying to rear their ugly head too!

2boysmacca · 21/02/2007 15:53

To dress or not to dress thread

Flamesparrow · 21/02/2007 16:04

lol - I spotted that that was still going

for curls, and argh for your hair issues

ellenrose · 21/02/2007 16:58

Happy Birthday Bram and Luca

for bumped babies.

Maisies poo has changed since she moved to cows milk as well - hard lumps now, easier to clean but clearly not right.

Thankfully the eye drops seem to be working which is just as well as she hates having them put in. Ds2 said he was going in his bedroom because it was too upsetting

Hugs 3K - take care of yourself.

Yeay for 3 dry nights

Off to look at the tie dye . . .

3k · 21/02/2007 18:47

Happy Birthday Luca and Bram!!!

Well I've not done anything major today, went to see mum and baby from post natal group this morning which was nice then went to see my mum. This afternoon I had pancakes for lunch (a day late I know) then watched Casualty from Sat and then did more cleaning on my house. Think stress is good for this place as it is the only thing that takes my mind off stuff.

DH called this morning to see if I was ok, he is having DS tomorrow morning whilst I clean but obviously not here to see me. Trying very hard not to let it get me down too much but it is very hard.

DS still crying when he tries to poo, very large lumps coming out. He wont drink apple juice, may have to go out and get prune juice tomorrow.

2boysmacca · 21/02/2007 19:50

3k Are you still bf? You can drink the juice if he won't take it. Be warned, it makes you hmm, regular!!

Ellenrose. Make sure you keep going for the required time, even if it looks as if it has cleared. I feel for you. Luca had it some weeks back, it lasted nearly 3 weeks cos we stopped, thinking it had cleared and it hadn't. I used to pin him down with one knee, and Finn would hold his other hand. If anyone saw us, I dread to think what they thought!

I can't believe it's a year since Luca. The time flies so fast. Is it true that having one turns your life upside down, having 2 turns it completely upside again but with 3 it's not such a life change? I really want another (just to tip me over the edge )

mustrunmore · 21/02/2007 20:01

3k; they are 4.5g. CAT me your address if you want them!! They're blue and beige lace ups. Ds1 wore them in quite alot of muddy puddles but they've been through the wash fine!

Flamesparrow · 21/02/2007 20:19

I have 3 here tonight... Psycho's DS2 is sleeping over. Having 3 not so different - much much LOUDER (or that could just be the combo of those two!).

Hysterical tears from DD because he still has a bottle for bed, she gave hers up at xmas, and when she stayed there she got one apparantly - so she is very distressed that she ain't havin one now. I tried not mentioning them in the hopes that he wouldn't have one, but he spotted DS's.

Worn out, meant to be baking a birthday cake but its not going to happen

DH's friend is giving me a laptop on longterm loan, so I will be able to evening MN

3K - hugs
