Aw zyla hope it clears up soon! Poor love.

Landlord was fine, we are going to be put on a 30 day rolling contract, but he is being so lovely about the whole thing. We've asked him if he had any other properties (cheaper ones) and he doesn't at the moment but might soon, I'm really keen to stay with him so fx. Interestingly he said that there is a house in the next road which is going for £1500 a month, same size etc as ours and we pay £1250 - prices have shot up in the last four/five months as we have cross rail at our local station and we're now part of tfl, in a few months you'll be able to go from our local station straight into the city without getting the tube and it's making an already expensive commuter area even more lucrative. Hmm
I'm trawling right move today although I've not managed much apart from feed and bath TT. He's just nodded off so I really ought to do something with the mountain of ironing that is taunting me from the wash basket....

RPopz · 09/07/2015 15:13

4 and 5 Min Shock Eek! Poor R - and you x

Would you necessarily be any better off if you move then Tee? Is the Landlord cool enough to reduce your rent for a few months til you're back at work? In exchange for being decent tenants that he knows look after the place and pay on time etc - no hassle drawing up contracts for new tenants etc etc... Worth a cheeky ask.

Poor H Zyla I've noticed minipopz has been getting a bit red in his neck and arm folds so I reckon it is the whether. Hope it clears up soon x

RPopz · 09/07/2015 15:14

**weather!

teejayem · 09/07/2015 17:35

Yeah, he's not going to negotiate down, we really need something less than £1k, and he's nice, but not that nice! :( Mr tee asked...plus I'm not sure what I'm doing with work.... I've requested pt for when I go back, but we are making so many redundancies, I'd be amazed if I'm not affected eventually.

WilHarlot · 09/07/2015 17:57

We're also getting sore neck and armpits here zyla. I was feeling bad about it too so reassuring to know it's not just us.

Tee your rent is almost double our mortgage, that's so crazy. Hope you find something you like.

RPopz · 09/07/2015 18:02

Yeah, your rent is actually three times my mortgage... Shock Not constructive, sorry!!

WilHarlot · 09/07/2015 18:15

But then she gets to live somewhere with actual sun Popz Wink .

Minion · 09/07/2015 18:18

Doh! 3 and 4 even.
There's literally drool everywhere!

teejayem · 09/07/2015 18:45

Don't get me going on house prices here... It's horrific. And the cost of independently living since I was 18 has ultimately meant we've never been in a position to save to buy. Even if we did, the place we're in now is valued around £300k. It's a three bed semi, not a fucking castle, and we'd never be able to borrow enough with a scraped together deposit.

Ugh, it's just wank!

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 09/07/2015 18:53

hello all, just popping in to say that BabyZing is 1 next weekSmile

Congratulations on all your babies! Thanks Thanks Thanks

cookielove · 09/07/2015 20:49

WilHarlot · 09/07/2015 21:32

zing and cookie, I can't believe your pair are so old already. I hate time going this fast. We're nearly at six months already and it feels like yesterday.

FurryScoob · 09/07/2015 21:33

Hello zing & happy first birthday to littleist zing, glad you found us!

Well done to E on standing, can't believe it's nearly a year since you had him cookie

Accidentally bought miniscoob some stuff for next summer in the mothercare sale, I only went in to look at car seats! Blush

cookielove · 09/07/2015 21:53

RPopz · 09/07/2015 22:42

It's crazy isn't it Wil - half a year! Sad

I text my Mum earlier but she's not bothered to reply... Was going to take minipopz round to see her but she can knackers. Got an increasing urge to empty my maternity leave ISA and go shopping with it.... Confused

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 10/07/2015 01:09

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 10/07/2015 01:10

hi tee & furry as well

RP brood is doing well, thank you.
I can't wait for schools to break up (21st July) we are all fed up...

Minion · 10/07/2015 03:26

Hi zing, so great to hear from you, glad the clan is well and nearly happy birthday to babyzing.

Girls can.I state now that I fucking detest teething.
Fuck. Give me back feeding problems any day. This is torture.
My turn to cosleep with MINIon tonight, as you can tell from the time, it's not going well. Poor little Lamb settles for a while, all snorty and drippy, then realises she wants her dummy, but it hurts to suck in it,, and etc etc

Gin,anyone?

Tuff. It's all mine.
If you need me I'll be in the bathroom mainlining it.

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 10/07/2015 07:01

minion

have you tried Dentinox teething gel? I've found it was more effective than Bonjela and Calgel. And taste nicerSmile

I also tend to give Elijah a shot of Calpol as I put him in bed for the night when he is teething, as a "pre-emptive strike" tactic.
he tends to fare better during the night that way.

teething is a bitch.Thanks

Minion · 10/07/2015 07:33

On it already zing, doesn't seem to make the blindest bit of difference sadly.

WilHarlot · 10/07/2015 07:41

Shite night here too. Had about two hours sleep before I had to do the lying with her on top if me thing. Lucky she's still so small. When will she start sleeping???

FurryScoob · 10/07/2015 07:45

I feel your pain minion Flowers i totally understand why people use to put brandy in a babies bottle before calpol & teething gel existed!

Wish me luck viroids, I'm going into work to see my boss for the first time since I left 10 months ago. Sad

Cymraes17 · 10/07/2015 09:19

Good luck scoob!
Sorry for sore necks, try metanium, the yellow cream, works wonders.
Baby B is in hospital since last night. She has chicken pox @ 17 days :(.
They have put her on a drip thing of anti virals. she has had 2 lots out of 3 of the stuff.
