Ooh well done Zyla! glances guiltily at the pb on toast on lap

I took the car back and changed it for a slightly less manky one with working brakes. There was no litter in this one and all the doors close.

ZylaB · 03/08/2015 18:53

Vast improvement pis!! Brakes are kinda essential ;)

cookielove · 03/08/2015 19:41

Glad you got a "nicer" car pis

Yay to surviving with your lo dulcet I remember how scary the first few days without dh were!

Glad I had a natural birth after reading about the intestine on tray stuff!!

pixie glad things are settling a bit!

E is doing OK but went to sleep early tonight so I am worried at what time he will wake up tomorrow!

WilHarlot · 03/08/2015 19:41

Yay well done for being so assertive Pis!

Congratulations Zyla, that's awesome.

Girls, I'm teething. Wisdom tooth giving me all kinds of grief. It makes me have a lot of sympathy for all the babies.

RPopz · 03/08/2015 19:48

Sounds like a lovely evening Pixie - I am well jel!! Glad it went ok with the childminder too Smile

Haha, well done Pis! Working brakes are definitely on the essential list carwise... Shock

Well done Zy! Piece of cake to celebrate? Grin Grin this is why I'm still fat

We've had a nice day - mini actually napped before Wrigglers so he wasn't an overtired asshat for the whole class! Woop! I've also decided I like my hair again (after actually washing and straightening it Hmm ).

How was your first day flying solo Dulce?

RPopz · 03/08/2015 19:49

Haha wil! Grin Will micro let you have a go on one of her teethers? Wink

FurryScoob · 03/08/2015 20:42

Well done zyla

Hope your teething don't last long wil & you don't end up with rosy cheeks & a spotty arse like the little people!

That car looked like a mess pis hope they don't take long to fix yours.

congratulations on getting through your first day alone dulcet

Took miniscoob to soft play today, she cried the whole time. She seems to hate all babies her own age but loves kids 18 months or older. Confused

LaLaLaaaa · 03/08/2015 20:43

A quick 'help' post!

Room is warmish he has been in just baby grow with legs and feet all day (sleep suit?)

Have been putting him to bed in sleep suit and 1 layer of cellular blanket. Is that right? First night I had vest under it too but mw said that might be too warm

FurryScoob · 03/08/2015 20:50

Sounds right la you can always add another blanket if he feels cold in the night.

ZylaB · 03/08/2015 20:51

That sounds fine la, H hasn't worn a vest for weeks now cos it's warmer.

wil poor you teething! Steal some baby bonjela!

Pisghetti · 03/08/2015 20:52

Sounds perfect La Smile it'll be a sleep suit and a light sleeping bag here (probably equivalent to 1 blanket layer)

Aww Wil that sounds horrible - lol at spotty arse though Grin

Yay for nice days all around! We've had a pretty lazy day (apart from trundling back and fore on the M4 to get the car sorted!) and I have ended up staying at DP's as I couldn't be bothered to do the drive home tonight. I'll do it tomorrow. Mañana mañana Smile

LaLaLaaaa · 03/08/2015 20:57

Thank you!

Fleurchamp · 03/08/2015 21:10

Also, I have been adding a layer after my 4am ish feed - the coldest bit of the night is around 5am. Seems to work and keeps S asleep longer some of the time

DulcetMoans · 03/08/2015 21:32

That's what we have here la. Well, I do fold the blanket though so that might be equivalent to two blankets but it's thin.

They can't give you a shit heap like that pis, so dangerous!

Do the older kids play with her too furry? It's ok if they will share I guess...!

Get into then dentist wil! You don't need to suffer. Unless it's not impacted, I guess it's just painkillers if that is the case.

What's wrigglers like popz? Going to start looking at groups this week. We have swimming that starts in sept, anyone done that with the tinies? Not sure if it's worth the money.

First day wasn't too bad thanks all, I cheated though and got MIL to come up after lunch. She stayed until DH came home so it was only AM on my own. Tomorrow health visitor comes in then AM so only PM on my own unless I call MIL again J was very well behaved all day though, lots of naps. Making up for it now though. Don't think he will sleep soon... Confused

Fleurchamp · 03/08/2015 21:43

I did the same dulcet my mum came over this pm and cuddled S whilst I took a nap - bliss!

PixieChops · 03/08/2015 21:49

Good work on the naps viroids!
It's till not overly warm near us and to be honest our room can get quite chilly so R usually gets vest, grow and thin blanket.

Watching 24 hours in police custody- it's about peados, last time I cried like a baby as it brought too many horrible memories. Now I'm just really fucking angry and want these horrible nasty bastards strung up by their bollocks AngryAngry

RPopz · 03/08/2015 22:08

Sounds fine to me La. We haven't done vests for a while either, but miniP is a really hot baby in general.

Glad the day went well Dulce - no harm in easing yourself in gently Wink Do you get on well with MIL? Wrigglers is good - it's another Lazy Daisy course. We did Tinies first which is for babies 6wks+. Really nice chilled out sessions doing baby massage, singing, playing etc. Good that you're looking into stuff, getting out the house makes a world of difference. Look at local children's centres and libraries for free stuff.

WilHarlot · 03/08/2015 22:14

Thanks Pixie, maybe don't watch?

We are in bodysuit, sleepsuit and thick sleeping bag here Grin Grin .

Ah thank god for reinforcements in the form of mothers/mothers-in-law.

Don't know if it's impacted. Looks to me like it might be. Was supposed to be at dentist on wed but had to cancel as no childcare.

RPopz · 03/08/2015 22:26

My teeth/ gums are fucked from pregnancy and biscuits... I need to get a dentist!

RPopz · 03/08/2015 22:29

And apparently my phone is also fucked!!

Nessalina · 03/08/2015 22:55

Alright viroids, hope everyone is well? I'm back from spa, had a lovely time, cream crackered now, time for bed! Hopefully catch up tomorrow Smile

DulcetMoans · 04/08/2015 02:34

Yeah, we get on really well popz. I don't have a mum so she is my substitute and friend. Don't get me wrong, she can be a pain in the arse and we had a few moments while I was pregnant where we fell out but that was partly my anxiety and partly her craziness - she's a proper worrier and can be OTT. But she is amazing as well and been so much support to me for years and years.

Great you had a good time at the spa nessa. Did the steam help the boobs?

I enjoy that 24hrs programme but agree maybe you should watch if it's giving you bad memories pixie. Don't put yourself through it.

We don't have daisy here popz but have lots of other options. There is baby massage - did you find that useful?

Get thee another appointment wil! It is painful when they impact and needs whipping out! I never went when pregnant, stupidly, but will be going before Christmas!

cookielove · 04/08/2015 08:30

It's nice to hear you have good relationships with your Mil's, I don't really have a relationship with either and I am completely fine with that, neither live near by, one set have met E once, the other twice! Of course it would be nice if they see him more but I can not see that happening any time soon!

E wears an assortment of things to bed, each night it's guess work what to put him, and E is almost a year la so you would think I would have worked it out by now Grin
