My fanjo is a bit broken too - we had pretty successful shag t'other week, but there were some wincey moments. Figured out that it's the perineum that's still bloody well tender, which isn't too shocking considering what it went through, so I can't tolerate much poking about, but once he's, ahem, in place, it's all good!
Up with a very poorly J, he's got a horrible chesty cough. We stopped BFing this week, so my boobs are like hot rocks of pain, and together we make a pretty pathetic pair!

Haven't had much time to mn recently - E is keeping me on my toes.
Just wanted to pop in quickly and say dulcet I've been using the Kari-me stretchy sling post emcs and it is wonderfully comfy. I think I first used it about 8 weeks after cs because I was worried it would put too much pressure on my scar, but it didn't at all and I probably could have used it sooner with no problems.

Also just wanted to mention that I posted my birth story on the childbirth threads and got some useful replies. I probably won't pursue legal action for the moment and just take some time to do some investigation into it first.

We're off to a bbq today at my sister's - first big outing!

Just to say thanks so much for all the suggestions and advice. Sling suggestions especially - I think it will be our main transport option so it will be worth looking up a sling library before we go, hadn't thought of that! There's got to be one nearby, I live in yummy mummy land (rm, we're the same postcode, have you found one?).

We sacked off the baby shopping last night as too tired after a long week at work. We've booked a nursery consultation at john Lewis instead. Possibly slightly more expensive than online but we can do it all in a onestopshop and they'll send it straight to the packers for shipping. And we can claim back the VAT...

Hope all these babies do some good sleeping over the weekend!

I'm rebelling today and not wearing a nursing bra. I'm wearing a push up. I am sick of my boobs looking like saggy water balloons one minute and over inflated ones the next. At least this padding is keeping them look a bit more even and bouncy.

I went into Next yesterday and spent money we don't have found some very cool space themed clothes for TT. He's wearing a size behind his age where he's a bit wee, which is making everything last a little bit longer.

We managed midnight till 5am ish again. I am Hoping it's not coincidence. Next stage is trying to get him to sleep in the Snuzpod rather than on me

I hate to say it but we have the most miserable child ever at the moment! All she does is whine, whine and whinge some more.
She's never been a giddy ray of sunshine, normally quite reserved and serious, but today was ridiculous.
She's drank fuck all. Eaten nothing but smooth shit designed for 4 month olders and screams if you pay with her, put her down, try and feed her pick her up, look at her, read her a story...

We didn't have any issues with Mothercare, and we really liked the nursing chair we got there too though didn't get much use out of it in the end as my measurements were out & it didn't fit in the nursery (for sale now if anyone's after one! It's this one - £100! )

My boobs are sooo much better today, they actual feel like normal boobs! I reckon I'll leave them a week to settle down and then go out and treat myself to a really nice push up bra
I had the day all to myself today, DH took J out to a family party whilst I mooched at my MILs on my own - it was bliss! Not my house, so couldn't do anything useful Watched Singing in the Rain and lotsa You Tube vids Feeling sad about stopping BFing, but it definitely has it's perks!
Poor J has a really chesty cough, so I think we're in for a bad night - lucky I caught up on my sleep today
