Whos in labour??

RPopz · 15/07/2015 09:54

Fleur Smile

RPopz · 15/07/2015 09:55

Well, beginnings of.

WilHarlot · 15/07/2015 09:57

I think my non-marriage is in a similar state Popz. I blame fucking smartphones as I sit bitching on a smartphone.

Hilarious you're jealous of labour - that is one part I definitely wouldn't want to relive.

You're not ancient zyla but I know what you mean.

Yesterday's sizing comment was 'compact'.

RPopz · 15/07/2015 10:09

Yeah definitely Wil. Does it bother you though? We're just existing side by side atm. More like flatmates.

WilHarlot · 15/07/2015 10:33

Yeah totally bothers me but don't seem to have the time to sort it out. Also he's not the easiest to talk to and some things can't be forced.

RPopz · 15/07/2015 12:21

Maybe it's "normal" then...

I never know if I'm BU or he is or if it a just my crazy brain....

Cymraes17 · 15/07/2015 15:54

Thank you for the suggestions re medicine, I think ive got it now we have to give it slowly in case of choking, its a thick sticky liquid.
Isnt it funny the things we crave eg jealous of labour.
Hope everything is going ok for Fleur.
Will + Popz perhaps you need a babysiter and a night out with DP, just the two of you, it can be very difficult with children to find time to be a couple. Having said that, DH and I havent had time alone for a while, we need to go out to celebrate our wedding anniversary (last month) but would have to take littlest cym with us, plus finding a babysiter for 4 is going to be a challenge (unles they are family).

JuniDD · 15/07/2015 19:55

Hello from holiday! I recommend a break to help troubled non/marriages. I am feeling quite kindly toward MrJ for the first time in a while.

High five to wil on the lack of baby madness. Held a newborn yesterday which was v sweet but the absence of "I want one!" was quite pleasant.

We got attacked by a seagull today. Living the dream!!

Omg I am going to throw this child out of the frigging window in a minute!! Tired but won't sleep, thirsty but won't feed. All he does is roll over and over and over and over in his cot and shout about it.... Angry Angry Angry

JuniDD · 15/07/2015 19:56

Mini break. I mean. babyj is with us bit the lack of distractions/work etc means he is focussed on us and not being an unhelpful arse.

RPopz · 15/07/2015 20:00

Oooh X post, sorry Juni Smile Worth a try but I know he'd spend the whole bloody time on his phone Angry

Pisghetti · 15/07/2015 20:26

In baby group on Monday one of the mums was saying about a short holiday they'd had where her husband had agreed to turn his mobile data off and they had a great time. Would he do that?

RPopz · 15/07/2015 20:44

Hmmm, worth a shot... Though it'd probably take him a whole day to catch up on everything once he was home to his wifi... Grin It's his day off work tomorrow, might ask him then.

WilHarlot · 16/07/2015 09:04

I'd be quite scared we had nothing to say to each other! Hope your suggestion goes down well Popz.

FurryScoob · 16/07/2015 09:46

Hope you sort your menfolk out rpopz & wil I used Mr Furrys phone addiction to my advantage & text him what was wrong instead of trying to talk to him & getting hhuurrrrr as a reply, he couldnt
deny he spent too long on it when I had to send the message to his phone rather than talk to him

Hope minicyms making a speedy recovery now she's home

Enjoy your holiday juni EnvyEnvyEnvy

We've bought paint to play with, today could be the start of miniscoobs million pound artistic career or the beginning of the need to redecorate. Confused

RPopz · 16/07/2015 10:16

Oooh you're a braver woman than me scoob Grin

Nessalina · 16/07/2015 15:54

Hey all Smile
Me & DH are in a similarly incommunicative mode at the minute, it's a bit tense sometimes. We've decided to go for some relationship counselling - it feels a bit like we've forgotten how to act around each other!

minimooo · 16/07/2015 18:29

So sorry to hear of relationship problems. It is incredibly hard to maintain a relationship while looking after a new little person. Me and dh have definitely had our moments since E was born and I can only imagine it's going to get worse before it gets better. Relationship counselling sounds like a good idea, as does a minibreak.

That sounds like great fun scoob! I can't wait til I can do stuff like that with E. Not so much the tidying up afterwards though...

Have a fab holiday juni !

gaggiagirl · 16/07/2015 19:38

mini just read your birth story. I'm so sorry you and your DH had to go through all that.
Have you posted in childbirth or legal? Lots of knowledgeable people over there.
Lots of love to you all.

Minion · 16/07/2015 19:40

Sorry ladies who are having arsebiscuits as husbands, I hope they see what amazing wimmin' they are pissing ff and correct themselves quick sticks!

We saw a wonder of the world last night. The eruption f mount MINIon.
She has a horrific hacking cough and woke up spluttering, but couldn't control it, thankfully I was there trying to calm her, when she erupted!
It was spectacular!
Everything was piss wet through!
And it was a delightful mix of cauliflower cheese and formula!
I've never seen vom like it!

I don't know about number 2. OOH R will have someone else thru life and OTOH can I do the screaming and sleepless nights again?

WilHarlot · 16/07/2015 20:16

Plenty of time to decide Min. I will always be glad I had two, even though the last six months have been exhausting and I envisage the next six will be similar. I know it won't be forever though. Saying that, no part of me wants to do it again so I get that feeling.

It would be a cold day in hell before MrWil agreed to go to relationship counselling.

minimooo · 16/07/2015 21:04

Hi ga thanks for your message. I haven't got round to posting in childbirth yet. Didn't know there was a legal section! Will try to get on laptop tomorrow and do it.

Aww minion that sounds messy! Poor MINIon.

I have a newfound admiration for anyone who has more than one child. I honestly can't imagine how anyone does it!

Indigoblue2 · 16/07/2015 21:26

mini thanks for the birth story. Was terrifying to read so I can only imagine how terrifying in real life Hmm Sounds like you are coping with it extremely well, can't have been easy at all. I hope you get all the support you need going forward xx

PixieChops · 17/07/2015 04:13

Hope you get your men sorted out Wil and Popz.
Me and OH we're together 2 weeks when I got pregnant with my first. And on the 30th July we'll have been together for 2 years and already have 2 kids which means that In all the time we've been together I've only been not pregnant for about 5 months ConfusedConfused
We find it hard sometimes especially when we were trying to get to know each other (and I was being a nightmare with hormones£ . I agree though getting a night out even if it's just to go for a drink somewhere just the two of you, will make a world of difference. We get out once s week and do just that as it's important that we keep our relationship strong and secure as well as looking after our babies.
It's really fucking hard and we argue sometimes and get on each other's tits but I love him to bits and it's worth working on.
