Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Cymraes17 · 14/07/2015 11:06

POAS!
Ive used talc on my DCs, but put it on my hand first to avoid the cloud. Otherwise apply some vasaline or a barrier cream morning and night, and give it a wash before the cream.

Baby B is home! She was let out yesterday afternoon with some medicine, that smells really odd. Trying to give a 22 day old baby something through a syringe is not easy!

PixieChops · 14/07/2015 11:11

Popz I feel for you. My OH is generally very good apart from being an occasional asshat.
Yesterday for example he thought he'd empty the fridge and leave a tin of half full spaghetti hoops on the door mat near the back door to be taken out for recycling. Cue DD getting hold of it and tipping it everywhere. Then he'll empty the dishwasher- all well and good but he doesn't check the pots to see if they're clean- I then go to make a brew and find 3 filthy mugs in the cupboard which I then have to move back to the dishwasher Hmm
He leaves his clothes (clean and dirty) in a heap on the floor in the bedroom which I have to sort every day. He moans if I clean/ tidy up because apparently the house isn't even dirty (no it's not fucking dirty because I CLEAN IT!!! And I keep on top of it)
Oh and the best bit was this morning. He wants his cricket stuff washing for the weekend but then tells me not to do any washing as the stuff on the line has been there for 3 days and it keeps raining so it's not drying and needs to be put on a maiden. It can't go on a maiden because I do too much washing and there's no room Hmm wish he'd pissoff!! Apart from that he's lovely. He just can't clean or keep anything tidy for shit.

PixieChops · 14/07/2015 11:16

Yay PoAS action! Let us know Zyla, do you want a BFP?

Oh and one more thing Popz, DP always uses the last of the milk, bread etc and just pisses off to work, drives me nuts! AngryAngry

Tee your posts make me laugh so much, love how you tell it how it is Grin

teejayem · 14/07/2015 11:22

Everything in the house is shitting. Tiny tee has sharted while feeding and two of the cats have been in the litter boxes while he's still feeding so I am trapped inhaling the aroma of files nappy and cat shit: fuck my life.
You can have this for your jiffy popz it is fresh I need to go and scoop it but he will NOT let go.

Glad to hear she's home cym!

We did laying down feeding early hours of this morning and the bed is covered in splurted milk where my let down is a bit quick and it startles TT. towel down tonight perhaps...

Will try the speed shower tips! He hates the bouncer at the moment so will try the pod, if he ever gets off my bloody nips this morning. Confused

Ooh ooh! zyla! To soon for poas Pom poms?

teejayem · 14/07/2015 11:24

I use the burts bees cream to powder stuff, it's really good... Mr tee likes the dusting powder but I always end up looking like i've had a fight with a drug dealer after attempting a change so tend to not use it...

minimooo · 14/07/2015 11:45

Ooh zyla! Poas Poas Poas!

I can vouch for speed showering. I actually leave E awake in her moses basket in our bedroom while I shower bad mummy but she doesn't tend to mind if I'm quick. Our house is tiny so i'd be able to hear her easily enough if she started crying. Yy to washing armpits before shaving pis! Grin I've been caught out with that one before!

Burt's bees stuff is fab and smells gorgeous.

Angry to unthoughtful husbands! Mine left a sink full of washing up this morning. I left the sink empty and clean last thing last night, so how can he possibly use a whole sink full of stuff just for one breakfast?!

cym, so glad she's home. You must be so relieved. I hear you on the syringe dosing - I tried giving E gripe water through a syringe. Bloody difficult.

minimooo · 14/07/2015 12:00

Grrr, mn keeps crashing and losing my second post!
Was just saying that my hypnobirthing instructor did the same pixie - no mention of my birth story and no congrats message on her page. And it really does make you feel more crappy about it Sad

RPopz · 14/07/2015 12:36

That's a real shame they made you feel that way mini and pixie... that kind of goes against the whole hypnobirthing concept.... !

Zyla if you are upduffed which Fred will you live on?? Grin

RPopz · 14/07/2015 12:36

Glad littlecym is home Smile

ZylaB · 14/07/2015 12:54

Ok, I POAS and it was a bfn. Was a clearblue though not a Frer so I'll repeat again in a few days just to be sure. MrZ breathed a sigh of relief and I thought I would too, but I was a bit disappointed!! So I guess I know I want another now lol, he's going to have a think about it but he said it's too soon yet, so I've proposed trying after Christmas. Then I can get on my super strength frolic acid and get really tight on my sugars from November in preparation :)

ZylaB · 14/07/2015 12:55

cym glad she's home!

popz I would have lived on both ;)

cookielove · 14/07/2015 14:47

Omg E is starting to stand without holding on! Where has my baby gone!

Dh has not done any clothes washing since I have been off! He has done some washing up but I do the lions share!

ZylaB · 14/07/2015 15:39

cookie !! Standing is so very grown up!

WilHarlot · 14/07/2015 16:50

Oh Cookie that's scary!

MrWil is also a lazy asshat. He's refusing to cook dinner tonight even though he's done arse-all for days.

Cym, what volume of medicine is it? You can get teeny syringes from chemist but not much use if it's a large volume you're giving.

minimooo · 14/07/2015 17:41

Oh cym I just remembered - u can get these dummies from Boots which you put the medicine in and give to baby. It never worked for E because she chokes on everything but Dr Brown's bottles, but thought I'd put it out there in case you hadn't seen them.

Wow, cookie, standing! Go minicookie!

Sorry for the bfn zyla, but it's good that it's helped you make the decision to try for a second though. So that makes two js grad grads trying next year....exciting times!

Currently trapped under a sleeping baby. Think she's having a growth spurt. She's just slept, screamed and drank loads of milk today! Only one or two smiles where normally she's a right little smiler.

RPopz · 14/07/2015 19:35

Aw zyla gutted!! I can see why you'd be relieved though Smile

RPopz · 14/07/2015 20:50

DH has woken minipopz up AGAIN. Angry Angry Angry Angry

WilHarlot · 14/07/2015 22:17

Doing what Popz?? LTB!

Aw zyla hope you're not too disappointed. It'll happen soon enough I'm sure.

RPopz · 14/07/2015 22:50

Mini was grizzling so he went up to "settle him" which apparently entails getting him up and bringing him downstairs!! You know, where we keep the bright lights and noises and TV!! Angry I mean, why wouldn't you get the baby up when I've just spent an hour settling him off to sleep. Stupid Fuck.

RPopz · 14/07/2015 22:52

I put him to bed at 7 originally... he's only JUST gone back to sleep Angry

Pisghetti · 15/07/2015 00:03

I also got no mention on our Daisy page and the instructor didn't come back with congrats for weeks and I was a walking advert for them so don't take it too personally.

I still have some ICs Zyla and got a BFN last week. I'm mildly disappointed but it would be really bad to have our next right now. I adore BabyPis (and DS of course!) but I'm not really loving the fact I'm effectively a single parent Mon-Fri. We've been staying at DP's on Sunday nights too and driving back early on Monday to get DS to school and he's kicking back against that now. I don't really see the issue - he gets up at the same time but plays on his iPad in the car instead of the couch. However I don't want him to feel like his wants/needs are less important than ours either. Don't know what to do for the best :-/ mind you at least I haven't got a MrPopz fucking me off! Waking the baby is a cardinal sin.

BabyPis is not quite herself. I've got a mega sore boob and I'm not sure if it's because she's been hanging off it all day or if the thrush has spread to the ducts or if I have a dose of mastitis on the way. Feel like such a hypochondriac these days! She tried latching on about an inch or two from my nipple and made me yelp out loud Hmm I gave her a dose of A&P powder in case it's teeth. They don't do it in druggy style paper wraps anymore - disappointed!

WilHarlot · 15/07/2015 09:19

Hahaha loved those druggy parcels. Must have only changed it recently. It's difficult Pis. Will he say why he wants to change it or is he just doing the teenager grunt thing?

Popz I feel as if I have to explicitly tell MrWil not to do that any time I ask him to try settling. Is it because he wants to watch tv? Grrr so annoying.

God you lot are baby mad! Is there noone else just clinging onto survival like me?! Grin Grin

ZylaB · 15/07/2015 09:42

I'm just ancient wil! Do if we're doing another sooner is better, though mrZ says after Christmas now!

RPopz · 15/07/2015 09:50

Haha Wil - that'll be us next time, and you'll be sat here all smug Grin I think I've got a problem actually... I'm reading the grads Fred and getting all jealous of people in labour! Shock

RPopz · 15/07/2015 09:51

Zyla you are not ancient!!

I should probably do something about the state of my marriage though.... he's ignoring it though so... Confused
