Hey guys. Hope you find this thread. Blobsmummy suggested starting a new thread to save trawling the first which was rather monster. Sorry re title. Had no idea what to cll it! DD had 3rd injections yesterday. Were much better than last lot. Nurse seemed to know what she was doing much better than last tiem. What a relief.

great DD has 4th cold in 5 months! this one not so bad. Only realised what was bothering her as both me and DH have now got mild cold and sore throat. Ah the joys of having moved area and having no immunity at all!

Btw decided after previous threads to make a bit of an effort with DH and so cracked out my new sale La Senza bargains... seemed to work! ;)

Must stop being so stingy with the heating. I'm sure it would help.

Eeeeks Dd has just woken after a few mins from nap. must go.

Thanks for all the advice but now he's eating (some things) OK even tho the raspberries are both funny and exasperating - i try not to let him see me laughing as then he chuckles and does some more...

Now the problem is the lying-on-front-but-not-knowing-where-to-put-head syndrome. He keeps spinning round and round.

I do get him in bed with us so we can catch a couple hours sleep but then its the feet kicking me rhythmically in the back and if I face him my hair gets pulled out or my eyes scratched out. Sex? Why have that when I have all this in bed anyway?!

foxymagoo · 20/01/2007 13:27

oooh - I've just registered on the public profile page - its like 'MySpace' I think - only managed to upload one photos tho' then it crashed - surely I'm not that ugly!

ds is sleeping, DH is watching Liverpool so I'm actually having some nice quiet 'me time' for once - bliss...

Off to look at Boden site as their new spring catalogue is now online

later ladies...

Foxymagoo- Ive just set up a page for myself too. Do you mind if i add you as a friend?

foxymagoo · 21/01/2007 14:02

be my guest ladyschaefer! Have managed to add more photos today..

blobsmummy · 22/01/2007 10:54

OOOh! I think I've just managed to put my own page up too! Haven't written much as I didn't think it would work, so I'll fill the gaps in later. DD decided that 4am was the perfect time to wake up this morning - eugh! For a kid who has slept through til 8am most mornings, it was a rather rude awakening.

We've just planned a holiday to Scotland for June - we're going to do the West Highland Way. Anybody up there (foxymagoo, WW) have any good ideas what we (me and DD) can do whilst DH is walking? Very tempted to go to Tobermory (aka Ballermory!)

ladyschaefer · 22/01/2007 12:42

Awwwww Ive looked at Foxy and Blobsmummy's pages and you have such lovely LO's

Foxymagoo i cant believe how much hair your Ds has got compared to mine!

Has anyone ele's LO's not got any teeth. Ds has been teethingfor months now and there's no sign of any teeth coming any time soon. I fear he may be gummy forever.

blobsmummy · 22/01/2007 13:29

Not a tooth in sight!!

Baby that it, not me.

foxymagoo · 22/01/2007 20:50

No teeth here either and ds has been drooling since October! He has started to lock his jaw round my chin and chomp down for dear life!

Also love looking at your lo's on your pages. I think all our lo's are at that lovely chubby big baby pre walking stage - cherish it! ds's hair was the talk of the maternity ward - I had to give him a trim last month!

blobsmummy - the west of Scotland is beautiful but remember and pack some midgy(tarten mozzies)cream. Apparently Avon self tan works wonders at keeping them at bay! Glenfinnan has lovely lochs and Fort William is fab too. Tobermorey is v. popular but you may be run down by over-excited 7 year olds!

I read we're getting another hot summer this year too and you really can't be in a better place than Scotland when the sun shines .

sarahsbump · 23/01/2007 10:00

Hi all
I think DS is finally getting his first tooth
He has been unsettled at night for the last week and the top of the tooth is through just waiting for the rest now!!!
He was starting to refuse his milk so I have moved him on to the cow and gate step up milk with extra iron and He loves it
I cant believe how quickly the time has gone and in some ways I miss him being a tiny baby but then he learns something new and its amazing x

blobsmummy · 23/01/2007 11:15

DD woke up at 2am and 5am this morning - she wasn't unhappy and didn't cry, so I didn't have to get up, but I still feel bleary eyed from being woken up. DH couldn't understand why I laid into him with such ferocity when he started snoring at 6am
Am hoping for a tooth to come through like your DS Sarahsbump.

Thanks foxymagoo for advice. Am also tempted to pop to Iona (as that DD's name) but may try to go back and make more of a holiday of it next year. People I know that have been to Iona all say how beautiful it is - just like my DD! ahhhh!

sarahsbump · 23/01/2007 14:49

Blobsmummy thats how DS has been he hasnt been upset but wouldnt settle back to sleep and wanting to play!!
Hope it means you are getting a tooth too

hurray, have also made a page! Woohoo what fun!

I think this waking business must be a phase of this age. Craziness! All those teeth and the fact that it's winter so they have a cold every 3 seconds!

It's great to see everyone's picis. Such little cuties... and the babies too!
