We've no time for JSing. We're battling green nappies, sleepless nights, x-box playing men and trying to hide our sling addictions. Fuck it, let's do a runner on a golf cart.

Shame you're not closer Min or I'd lend you ours. Good luck with interview.

cookielove · 16/06/2015 21:02

min you can get a space saver jumperoo, its a nicer price :)

FurryScoob · 16/06/2015 21:35

Well done H, I love the proud mum moments.

Good luck min, I don't mine you selling me some free plane tickets if you need a guinepig? Grin

We're in snotty baby hell, poor little midget can't breath, eat, sleep Sad we've not had any proper sleep for nearly a week. Sent mrfurry out for a vapour plug this morning so keeping my fingers crossed it helps tonight. He also came home with a mini Cookie Monster from the furchester hotel which seems to of made her smile for a bit.

Nessalina · 17/06/2015 00:56

Good luck Min Smile Hopefully they see the sense of letting someone that knows how to do the job do it!!

Good work Miss H Smile Proud mummy moments are the best.

Quiet times here, still soldiering on through the weaning. He was a star today, scoffed some baked potato quite happily, and deigned to let me spoon feed him some yoghurt for pud. Just tried to fob him off with dummy at his usual 12:30 wake up how can you be hungry child?! but he was having none of it Hmm

minimooo · 17/06/2015 10:14

Good luck for today min!

Aww poor babyscoob, hope the vapour plug has done the trick.

Off to our 6-week check tomorrow - can't believe how fast that last 6 weeks has gone!

Minion · 17/06/2015 10:55

Sadly not selling the hols, just the department that deals with the inboard sales and service.
Well today is let's Start some semblance of a routine, day.
So I'm working on wake at 7, feed 7,11,3,7 with solids at 9,12 and 4 ish.
I tried to not let her have her nap an hour after wake up, didn't work so she's napped at 8 and now asleep (on me ) since 10!
Do I wake her to feed her or let her continue kipping?

WilHarlot · 17/06/2015 12:25

I'm not good with routines so id let her sleep but I don't suppose there's a right or wrong.

Time flies in doesn't it Mini?

Try the saline spray/drops too Furry. They really do help to dry up a snotty nose.

Minion · 17/06/2015 14:00

I woke her, and she demolished a bottle, which never happens in the daytime.
Then she destroyed lunch!
I'm hoping the six month growth spurt is kicking in.

Weathers shite isn't it?
It's June for Pete's sake. I want to get burnt!

FurryScoob · 17/06/2015 16:34

Hope you got the job min

still got a poorly snot monster, vapour plug helped with the snot but her temperatures been up & down like a yoyo & she now has arse rain. Sad Took her to the doctor who has stocked us up with ibuprofen & calpol. Hope we get a little smile out of her soon, I miss my smiley baby.

Minion · 17/06/2015 20:35

Aww poor miniscoob, hope she's tip top soon.

It was a meeting to se if we hat chemistry, we did, he liked me so will get the ball moving with legalities etc. as it's a new role he would have to advertise it so that would need to happen etc. however, I'm fairly confident.
He did ask if I could return of may leave early.
I said I'd do it slowly, ease me in etc, he was happy with that. Feel a little guilty leaving R but in the long run, I'll be home on holidays and weekends and bedtimes etc, so that's a no brainier I guess.
I just don't want to miss her firsts...

WilHarlot · 18/06/2015 12:30

When do you have to start Min?

Poor miniScoob. Hope she's better soon.

I've been awake since just after 4 this morning. Sigh.

JuniDD · 18/06/2015 14:39

Oh no poor minis on hope she's better today.

Holy shit, my child has napped for an hour in her car seat and I have got SO MUCH DONE. I need to figure out how to make this happen again...Wink

WilHarlot · 18/06/2015 16:30

Mine slept for almost three hours! But I was too tired to do anything more than make soup.

Minion · 18/06/2015 16:55

Mine went for 2 big ones!
Please let it happen again. I got fuck all done as was in pub but she usually wakes as soon as pram stops.. She went on and on!

honeysucklejasmine · 19/06/2015 14:37

sneaks in

Tee, do you think in a few weeks you could do a mini review of your pushchair? I want the same one so would appreciate your perspective.

JuniDD · 19/06/2015 15:42

She naps again! In the cot!! I ha e discovered "patting" and its magic! Wink Wink

Shame bedtime is so screwed...Angry

WilHarlot · 19/06/2015 17:22

Yeah why don't the things which work at bed time, work at night time and vice versa?

I've failed. She's asleep on me on the couch at 5.20. This can only mean bad things. Her blooming sister kept waking her up today whenever she tried to nap. Counting down the days until nursery starts...Envy

WilHarlot · 19/06/2015 17:23

*nap time, not night time

ZylaB · 19/06/2015 18:27

H has refused to nap after swimming despite being knackered! Her high pitched excited squeals are getting more and more grouchy...I can sense a meltdown incoming...

Minion · 19/06/2015 20:08

I've tried this patting. Supposed to be magic, I must be doing it wrong.
R Haa decided to work out her own daytime napping schedule. Seems she likes a nap after porridge, a long one at 12:30 then one around 4 ish.
Fine by me, but she's back to bloody waking at 11 then 3!
Fuming, she was going longer before.
Taking over an hour to resettle her.
Pah.

But on the plus side, she loves yoghurt, which is good cause her milk intake has gone to pot again.

WilHarlot · 20/06/2015 07:36

Napping sounds great but how annoying about the night wakenings.

I'm so jealous of you going swimming zyla. This one still freaking out at bath time.

She was up multiple times too last night. Thank god it's Saturday.

minimooo · 20/06/2015 09:34

Sorry for non sleeping babies Sad

I'm also jealous of the swimming zyla! Can't wait to get E swimming. Hope the squeals didn't turn into a meltdown.

E had a massive crying fit yesterday evening. It was horrible. Sounded like she was in pain. I think it might have been trapped wind. Almost like she's hit a new colicky level.

Hope babyscoob is feeling better?

FurryScoob · 20/06/2015 10:03

Happy Miniscoobs returned! Grin
Still blowing impressive snot bubbles but she's well enough to think there funny.
After 10 days of no sleep she finally let me have a night in my own bed & slept from 7.30-6.
Will be back later to catch up

minimooo · 20/06/2015 11:15

Yay miniscoob! Smile

Minion · 20/06/2015 12:49

Nice one miniscoob, teach MINIon to sttn please! She wasn't so bad last night, I naturally woke at 3 and went in to catch the stirring, which was a success but then she woke at 4 and drained the bottle, she must have been hungry bless.
She's deffo into her 12:30 nap, just kicked off in the car cause she wasn't in bed. Had to cut shopping trip short and finish it when she wakes.
Wish these bloody teeth would appear tho.
Everything has a thin layer of drool on it and get little rufus rabbit is sopping!
