We've no time for JSing. We're battling green nappies, sleepless nights, x-box playing men and trying to hide our sling addictions. Fuck it, let's do a runner on a golf cart.

Hey viroids, I'm back! (I mean it this time Grin ). Won't bother trying to catch up as it'll take me forever...

Things have calmed down a lot chez Popz. Mum had a transplant a few weeks ago and is recovering well. She was staying with us for a little while which was... tiring Hmm Minipopz is fully in the throes of leap 5/ sleep regression/ teething/ general baby adolescence Shock Rolling like a pro and on his way to sitting up. Going to try and start a bit of BLW next week! Can't believe he's almost 6 months old already Sad

Hope all the JSing babies are well! Smile

RPopz · 28/06/2015 21:30

And mum's, obvs Grin

ZylaB · 28/06/2015 21:43

Hey popz glad your mum's recovering! Sounds like minipopz is doing brilliantly too!

We've decided to talk at Christmas about if we're going to have another!! though if we decide to that'd involve actual sex which is still uncomfy so I've stopped :(

WilHarlot · 28/06/2015 22:05

Popz!!! Yay welcome back! Sounds like a stressful time for you but glad things are getting back to normal a bit and hope Mumma Popz is ok. Good luck with the weaning, not looking forward to that myself!

Zyla I'm finding it a bit uncomfy too - think I must have some internal scarring. Hopefully it gets better...

ZylaB · 28/06/2015 22:16

I struggle to get my head around it cos of the CS, but Im sure it's hormonal due to feeding, at least I hope it is and not permanent!

Minion · 29/06/2015 10:27

Hi popz! Welcome back. Hope mum is getter better fast.
We missed you round here.

Tmi: I was a bit 'dry' post cs, what with condoms and all, can't see me continuing that course tbh...I'm not a fan of friction burns!
Ouch.

Well, toth number 2 is swiftly following it's elder. Seems not to bother her as much as the first except the giant BF at 4 this morning.
Who knows why, don't even think she knew.

And she bit my nose yesterday, which used to be cute but Cripes, those razors are sharp! I'll miss the constant nose, finger, chin sucking she used to do.
Bless.

PixieChops · 29/06/2015 12:50

Nice to see you again Popz! Glad your mum is getting better ThanksSmile

I'd do anything for a good seeing to but only had DS nearly 2 weeks ago so probably not the best idea Hmm it's so annoying, don't think we've DTD for about 5 weeks already! I'm climbing the walls but OH doesn't seem that fussed. I offered to fool around with him but he said it's not fair if he can't return the favour. Registering DS today and been busy at a new toddler group for DD this morning. It's pretty expensive but think it'll be worth it.

RPopz · 29/06/2015 18:12

Thanks for the welcome back viroids Smile

Haha Pixie you're keen! Didn't you have a section though or did I imagine that? Could be ok but messy I guess....

Zy - I'm thinking we'll start trying again when I go back to work in January too Shock Although yeah... sex... We've only done it twice since minipopz was born. Should probably rectify that at some point - can't have him feeling like a sperm donor Grin I'm not loving it though, it's uncomfortable in a way I can't really pinpoint. Hoping its just bf dryness...

Does microWil have food intolerances or was it reflux in the end wil? I guess either way it makes weaning a bit tricky. I was excited about it at first but now I'm wondering how we'll fit it into the day! Shock He's had some sneaky bits already - cucumber, tomato, melon. All resulted in his WTF face. Banana though, he couldn't smash that in his face fast enough bless him! Grin

Eek Min ... how's teething treating you both?

WilHarlot · 29/06/2015 18:39

Yeah she does. I drank some milk and she puked and shat green stuff everywhere. Her reflux is really well controlled and hopefully can come off the meds once she's on solids. It doesn't make weaning that tricky, it's more just having time in my day and also having to take stuff out with you.

I read a thing saying pay no attention to the faces they pull when trying new food, doesn't mean they don't like it. We'll be starting with purees on advice of dietician but hopefully can do BLW relatively quickly.

I find I have virtually no sex drive whilst bfing although found it easier this time than after MiniWil.

Pisghetti · 29/06/2015 20:31

Hi Popz! Glad mamaPooz is on the mend.

I recently packed up the clothes BabyPis has outgrown and we decided to keep them in the loft rather than give them away Smile no idea when we're planning to crack them out again though.

The sex thing is weird.... I really struggled to, err, come during pregnancy but fairly soon after birth DP only had to look at me a certain way and I was popping off like a rocket. Now I'm struggling again. Hadn't thought of bf being the cause.....

Pisghetti · 29/06/2015 20:32

Err that'd be MamaPopz fml...

PixieChops · 29/06/2015 20:40

I had the exact same problem Pis!
Yep popz I had a c section. Haven't stopped bleeding yet- longest period in the history of menstruation! HmmConfused
On a more positive note I'm booked in on Thursday to get the implant contraceptive! So fx shagging can commence shortly after Grin
The problem is where to do the shagging. We are in a 2 bed house and have DD who's 13 months (in her own room) andDS who is only 11 days old and he's in our room.
May have to do some stealth shagging around the house instead..

FurryScoob · 29/06/2015 20:51

Ooooo you randy buggers!

Glad mamapopz is on the mend & you've returned popz

Weanings going ok with miniscoob, she tried melon for the first time today & decided to wipe it round her head when she got bored, all her hair was then stuck up in all directions & matted together.

Anyone know the secret trick to getting banana stains out of clothes?

WilHarlot · 29/06/2015 21:18

Hold on a minute here viroids. We're starting to sound much like the original JSers!

I usually think it comes out ok if you get to it straight away Furry, before it goes brown. Have you tried a prewash stain remover?

Think that'll be it for us on the whole kiddy front. Not sure I could deal with this sleep pattern again.

RPopz · 29/06/2015 22:30

That's weird Pis ... I was coming all over the shop when I was preggers. Hormones and extra blood flow and shizzle. Ooh err.

Pisghetti · 29/06/2015 23:52

I'm wondering if it was psychological. I certainly wanted lots of sex I just couldn't quite get there. Sad times Wink

Glad H was ok Zyla! Poor MrZ - I dropped DS' Moses basket when he was a couple of weeks old and wailed inconsolably. He barely murmured! Haven't dropped this one any considerable distance yet. She does fling herself about and catches me by surprise sometimes.

WilHarlot · 30/06/2015 07:51

I've whacked Micro's head off the door a couple of times Blush . Haven't dropped her yet though...

teejayem · 30/06/2015 08:01

Ugggghhh..... We are in the throes of some kind d of cluster feeding evil... TT will NOT be put down for love nor money. Last night we all went to bed at 10.30, he slept until midnight and then pretty much 12.30-5 was a feeding fest, with a couple of poosplosions in between. He occasionally nodded off on boob (and I def nodded off a couple of times) but he hasn't really slept. Even this morning we're on third boob since 6.30. I am tired.... And hot, and covered in milk. Yum.
Had him weighed yesterday and he is healthy & gaining, up to 8lb3, saw a far nicer HV at the clinic, my one can stick it up her bum.

We've agreed to wait until TT is 2 before we try again... I gave Mr tee a mercy blowjob at the weekend, but only because I feel bad about his lonely shower wank. Still going to be another few weeks before there's any shagging here, have to see the nice man at the perineal trauma clinic to check the arts and crafts have healed beforehand. (Which it feels like it is btw, after my freak out the other week, and I've not looked at it since either, it just isn't as painful or tight, hurrah!). I do really miss the intimacy with Mr tee though. :( also, I miss orgasms. I was also popping off orgasms all over the shop when I was duffed.

Hoping to hang out in the garden today, we've got the inflatable pool filled and the sunshade up, want to let the little guy go nappy free for an hour or so, I figure if I'm uncomfy in frigging sanitary towels, he can't be enjoying nappies in this heat..I've got plenty of sacrificial towels for him!

cookielove · 30/06/2015 10:13

We are gonna wait till E is 2 and a couple months before we try again, we can't afford two in nursery and even though I work there they won't give a discount :(

We really don't shag enough lol, I am too tired!

ZylaB · 30/06/2015 11:00

tee lol at lonely shower wank!!

H will be 10 months when we decide if we're trying for another, but my sugars would have to be perfect and we'd only be doing it that soon cos I'm ancient!!

Saw Derren Brown last night, it was ace! Left H with MrZ's parents (well, they came to ours) for 5 hours! She was fine, had 3 bottles of expressed milk (!!!) then got a bit grizzly when tired and went to sleep when they put her in her cot at 8.45! Good girl. MrZ had to stop me from waking her for a cuddle when we came back though lol Grin

ZylaB · 30/06/2015 11:02

Oh, and the cluster feeding will get better eventually! Tinytee is just upping your supply and bizarrely, the night is the best time to do it!

PixieChops · 30/06/2015 13:35

All DS seems to do is eat at the moment, Mr Chops did take Ds downstairs last night at 1:30 so I could sleep, I'm not breastfeeding but I do have the milkiest tits known to man they do not stop leaking and my nipples ache when DS cries! Mr Chops is off playing cricket tonight so from 5pm I'll be running around sorting out 2 babies.
It's also too fucking hot. I'm with you Tee- sanitary towels and this heat does not make for a healthy feeling fanjo.

Cymraes17 · 30/06/2015 14:49

Apparently the milk hormones are really active at night at their peak about 3am (which is also my most hated time of all).
DD3 seems to need a feed almost every hour between 8pm and 1am, then so far has let me have some sleep for 4hrs, feed then another 3 to 4 hours sleep.
We have ventured out of the house this afternoon, put DD2&3 in the pram and off we went go the chemist, my hay fever has kicked in (doesnt bother me when pg). Had a little walk about the village, trying to walk in the shade.
They are both asleep in the pram, so I have some MN time!
Im not thinking sex yet!(with the other three we did before the 6week check, not sure where we found the time or energy) Id rather have a cuddle at the mo, but find it difficult with the gigantiboobs. Trying to have alone time for a cwtch but we always have one little cute thing with us.

WilHarlot · 30/06/2015 15:26

You should be able to take cetirizine hydrochloride for your hayfever Cym. Chemist will say no if you admit to breastfeeding but doctor will prescribe (or just don't tell them).

Pixie how long does it take for your milk to dry up?

Cymraes17 · 30/06/2015 15:34

Ive been given a nasal spray and eye drops with antihistamine. He told me to come back for tablets if things dont get better. He said that he has to take all 3 things, and still gets some symptoms. Will see how it goes.
Ive never thought about what happens to milk if you are FF.
