Well done zyla, inspiration station!

I'm going to go full pompous self righteous and say I wouldn't want such a big lie in as I would want to spend time with my only precious child that took three years to get. WinkWinkWinkWink (Am already planning my spa break for when I can leave her with him overnight. That'll be a shock to the lazy fucker's system I'll tell you.)

ZylaB · 06/06/2015 22:08

We were out for 2 hours and 15mins and she was fine!! Not sure if that's good or bad dos she didn't need me lol! Does mean we can go to derren brown and leave her for about 5 hours with me worrying a bit less though.

She didn't drink most of the milk I'd left so, refusing to waste it, she's been given the expressed before bed and I'm pumping now so. Can freeze 120ml or so, then I'm having some wine dos she should go 8 hours if she goes to sleep!

ZylaB · 06/06/2015 22:30

juni just add up his lie ins and give him. The baby for the weekend! ;)

WilHarlot · 07/06/2015 07:55

Or the month Juni? Wink I think you should take up 'jogging' (sitting in a cafe drinking coffee) every Sunday morning, and MrJ can be on duty at home.

zyla I have been crap - but we have had horrific weather and I couldn't face it. It looks decent today though so hopefully will get back in time this evening and I'll stop making frigging excuses.

That's great you were able to leave H. I have a full afternoon/evening in August I have to go out for and already stressing about how it will work.

ZylaB · 07/06/2015 09:11

I use left tonnes of expressed milk for her wil and she didn't have most of it! She slept and played with her granny and didn't need me at all sob

But she was a good girl Grin

WilHarlot · 07/06/2015 09:20

We still have bottle issues. I'm hoping she'll take a cup by that stage.

Pisghetti · 07/06/2015 10:39

Yay for H! We've worked out that BabyPis will take a bottle from her dad but not from me or her brother. She also can't see or hear me while she's feeding otherwise she'll start to fuss until I disappear again. We've wasted so much milk already! I've started freezing it in 3oz portions now instead of 6oz.

I picked up a bargain glider crib on gumtree to go between Moses basket and cotbed. She absolutely loves it. Three nights now she's fallen asleep when I've put her down to brush my teeth when normally she'd scream at me until I fed her to sleep. A bedtime routine now seems like a possibility rather than a means of getting more exercise running up and down stairs.

ZylaB · 07/06/2015 18:18

Well I'm not doing couch to 5k tonight, been lugging sacks of soil around the garden and doing pots this afternoon and my back is killing me, I'm so stupid!

cookielove · 07/06/2015 20:14

Hello all

E is wearing a long sleeve vest and a 1.5 tog bag or a baby grow and a 1 tog bag!

And so shattered as we went to the aquarium today :)

Nessalina · 07/06/2015 21:00

Hello viroids, sorry I've been absent, I'm on my holidays! In Greece with J and my DM, we're having a fab time! Things are good generally with J, he's getting so big and full of personality! Weaning is an absolute fucker though, when I get 5 mins I shall be asking for some advice from you all xx

ZylaB · 08/06/2015 06:34

Have a lovely time ness!!

pis at least she'll take a bottle, it's a start :)

wil H would sip from a cup from birth, so I'm sure microwil will take a cup properly by August.

H has been unswaddled in a sleeping bag for the last 2 nights. We went cold turkey and just did it and luckily she's fine! Did wake up to a scratch on her cheek today though, he nails aren't even long!

Minion · 08/06/2015 10:24

m trying to get R to tke a zippy cup seeing as though milk isn't her favourite and the weather may be trying to get better.
She likes chewing on it at the moment....

Now, I do not want to jinx anything but I put R down for a nap at about 9:15 or so, and SHES STILL THERE,
Asleep and everything.
This is the longest she's ever gone for in a nap on her own!

I know she can't go down for one on her own etc etc but this, this is progress... X

ZylaB · 08/06/2015 11:19

Third vaccinations in half an hour..poorly baby incoming :(. Ah well, I'm resigned to a couple of days cuddling, feeding and calpoling! At least it's the last ones before she's one, unless they sort out this meningitis vaccine, cos I want her to have that!

cookielove · 08/06/2015 12:23

min yay for long naps, fx it is the start of something :)

zyla fx she isn't to affected by the injections!

Minion · 08/06/2015 12:51

I don't think it is the start cookie, she woke for one hour, ate and went back to sleep as did i
Lord knows what's going on

Minion · 09/06/2015 06:46

I'm assuming it's only me suffering with the 4:30 wake ups?
God, I wish I drank coffee.

JuniDD · 09/06/2015 08:36

Is she up for the day then min? Mine wakes up then, feeds, sleeps. Put her in her cot cue screaming so she comes in with me and does sleep.

Her sleeping is abysmal at the moment. I think she is too distracted to have enough decent feeds during the day. I dream fed her last night at half ten and she was up again at midnight to feed. Wtf!! She won't really eat solids, or I'm giving her the wrong things...any ideas?

Ness you jet setter! Hope you're having a lovely time xx

ZylaB · 09/06/2015 08:40

I was up at 4.30 min :)

WilHarlot · 09/06/2015 08:41

Been up half the night. Much screaming and vomiting. All the wee blighters are at it.

Minion · 09/06/2015 10:30

This girl is a frigging Nightmare lately.
She cries and whines. When you pick her up she tries to get out of your arms. So I plonk her in highchair whilst I'm doing kitchen, she cries.
I pick he up. She cries, I pop her in the living room to stretch out and leave the room. She cries.
I've bought her upstairs, she cries. I've held her to calm herself, she gets agitated.
I'm fucking knackered, fucking fucked off and fucking clueless.

Humph.

No, she goes back to sleep about 40 mins later after fannying around, but treats that as a bastard nap so 45 mins later, boom she's up again.

I'm failing miserably. Though I've put her on our bed and she's happy but I know as soon as I leave the room she'll whinge.

ZylaB · 09/06/2015 11:34

Brew for everyone with bad nights

wil vomiting, is she ok?

min I can't leave H in a room for more than 5 mins without tears and screaming, just try to look at it as she loves you so much she likes it when you're there?? It's what I try to do not that it helps much when you just want time to go to the sodding toilet Hmm

FurryScoob · 09/06/2015 11:51

Cake to go with zyla's coffee for the sleep deprived viroids.

I have a clingon baby too but I'm putting it down to teeth & hoping I can have a poo in piece again soon.

After Miniscoobs weight problems at the beginning the health visitor I was seeing suggested getting her weight at the start of weaning to make sure she was ok. Rang up a month ago to make an appointment (all clinics were replaced at Christmas by appointment only system) but they couldn't get me in until today, turned up & nobody's there!

ZylaB · 09/06/2015 16:00

That's shit furry bet they'll try and say it was you who got it wrong too, not them...

WilHarlot · 09/06/2015 16:14

That's awful Furry.

Min what does your Health visitor think?

I presume the vomiting is cold related as she's a bit bunged up. The slightest thing seems to make her gag and spew. Nappies are pretty mucousy, not sure what that means.

Minion · 09/06/2015 18:34

Hv? They couldn't be more disinterested tbh. As soon as you go in with any question they diagnose you with a milk allergy. Must be on commission.
I think the solids were messing with her gut, gas etc.
The trumps she's coming out with... Puts her dad to shame.
wil, sounds like an allergy to me. Bring her up here, they'll have her diagnosed in seconds.
