Hola.
I'm back. Nowt to report I'm afraid. Hi cookie, glad you're back! How long did he take to try to crawl? R is already trying but can't work out why her arms arent string enough yet.
She's determined to be older than she is, this one.
Great news on miniwil sleep wil, hopefully she's turned a corner.
This one still wakes bang on 2 for a feed, bored of fighting it now, just going with it.
Oh, I can make her laugh. Not just a cursory chuckle but full on I'm going to roll over in fits laughter.
What a feeling.

WilHarlot · 10/05/2015 17:16

Hahaha I did that with micro on two fingers the other week zy. Best way is to bite them but I can't do that so I find the non-pointy nail scissors better than clippers.

Hope E is better soon. How's the new place Cookie?

Pis that's rank. I haven't had to endure a spew like that out of the house before.

Unfortunately MrWil wasn't coming on day out so I couldn't delegate to him. He is cooking tea now though Smile .

I'm scared I have a bum fissure. It hurts more than the normal piles issue. I'm going to have to get my arse investigated aren't I? Sad

cookielove · 10/05/2015 18:02

wil the place is good still a complete mess though :)

He has been attempting for a few months he kind of seesawed for ages, going up onto his hands and then dropping down and kicking his legs like
made, last month he was getting on all fours and rocking back and forth and then started pushing himself backwards and the last couple of days he has been trying to move forward with some success :)

I have nail clippers called little nippers that I got from Jo Jo mamen bebe, and they have a little window in the clippers so you can see exactly where you are cutting!

ZylaB · 10/05/2015 18:38

Poor bum wil. Do go and get it looked at, sooner the better for it not hurting!

Cookie 9 months has gone so fast!! We said H was a quarter of a year today and can't believe how quickly that's gone! Glad the new place is good :)

pis hope it's ok when MrP goes back, and ewwww at the megavom!

min yay for full on laughs, that must be lovely Grin

Thanks for the advice on finger nails, will either try scissors or nibbling them next time I think.

WilHarlot · 11/05/2015 07:23

Do it when she's sleeping zyla. Good excuse for a cuddle.

I am dreading this one crawling. MiniWil was pretty early to do it. God knows what toys she'll end up choking on. Hoping she'll be a bit slower - although she hardly gets any floor time so I suspect so.

JuniDD · 11/05/2015 18:26

Get that botbot looked at wil.

I cut babyj's nails when she's asleep or still on my lap when awake. I sometimes take a bit of skin but she's never bled. A quick suck in my mouth takes away any pain!

Her sleep has gone to shit a bit. My mum suggests forcing her to eat more but as she's not interested and I really don't want to start negative associations, it doesn't feel like the answer...wish I knew what was though!

WilHarlot · 11/05/2015 20:23

Are you doing BLW or purees Juni?

JuniDD · 11/05/2015 21:36

A bit of both wil. She's not that interested really. I've seen my nephews take food off plates at the same age, but she's u getting there. Had a nibble of a pizza crust tonight, usually fruit purses in the morning. Making a concerted effort not to get stressed out by it, I can see it would be very easy to go down that road.

WilHarlot · 11/05/2015 21:45

Totally don't get stressed. Isn't the saying 'food for fun til they're one'? Was just going to suggest that some babies have a preference for one over the other, but if you have both bases covered then I wouldn't worry, she'll get there in her own time.

This one is still up. She was sucking on her sleeping bag earlier and I don't know if a loose fibre or something came off but she kind of choked and threw up everywhere. Something seems to still be bothering her and I'm worried it's lodged somewhere. Totally paranoid and scared to put her to bed!

Pisghetti · 12/05/2015 10:49

Was she ok after Wil? The choking noise is what BabyPis did before the mega vom. I checked her dummy in case the teat had split but no idea what it was.

I think I mixed my boobs up in the night so I have one massive rock hard one. BabyPis just stirred and it let down so I'm all damp Blush she doesn't look too interested in eating though Confused

WilHarlot · 12/05/2015 11:15

Ah I hate that Pis.

Yes she was fine, of course! I spend so much time worrying over nothing. I'm loving this new sleeping malarkey. Although 4 months coming up so a bit scared...

Pisghetti · 12/05/2015 11:25

Do they have a sleep regression at four months?

She fed - sweet relief! She's now fallen back asleep so I really should get out of bed and showered..... But I'm torn between leaving her here (my shower is in the downstairs bathroom) or potentially waking her up by taking her down. Ah never mind she's woken up Grin

minimooo · 12/05/2015 12:20

Hi viroids, just jumping over from the grads thread. Baby Emine Cariad Anne Kemal was born 3rd May weighing just 5lb 12oz. (Emmie for short).
Had horrific birth involving a stay in intensive care (me not baby thank god) after an emcs that went wrong. Thankfully now at home but still in pain and unable to take paracetamol because the whole process fucked up my liver Sad
Beautiful baby makes up for everything though. She's so perfect

Pisghetti · 12/05/2015 12:36

Hi Mini congratulations on the birth of baby Emmie! Sorry to hear things went so wrong but glad you're home together now.

JuniDD · 12/05/2015 13:23

Congrats mini, lovely name. Shit birth veteran here, tho baby ended up in NICU not me. lots of hugs and healing to you xxx

ZylaB · 12/05/2015 16:51

Welcome mini sorry to hear it didn't go well, but glad you're both home. Emmie is lovely! :)

couldntbebothered · 12/05/2015 19:31

Hi mini, replied to you on the grads thread.

Am managing to get out for a decent walk during the day now which is making me feel a bit more human and hopefully will help me get fit again and to get back into normal clothes!

ZylaB · 12/05/2015 22:27

My baby just exploded!!

4 days of poo, but the best bit was when MrZ lifted her bum to clean her and she did a perfect parabola of even more which missed his face by about a centimetre. It went all over the side of the wardrobe and a stack of clean nappies, but I haven't laughed so hard in ages!

Too much information I know, but I just had to share heehee.

Minion · 13/05/2015 07:50

Hi mini! Huge congratulations on the birth of Emmie, is it a Welsh name? Its beautiful as is she. Soz about the experience tho, but what a joy to the end of it all.
Oh dear zyla, gotta love an arse explosion! Wait for the sweet potato poo... Such a treat!

We're blowing raspberries a go go here. Cute but not at 2am please R.
She went til 5:30 this morning (that's a lie in), typically I was awake at 5 tho.
Got very grumpy quickly, I got annoyed and plonked her back in her cot for maybe 20 mins. She didn't drift off but went quiet then arsey.
Went in picked her up, cried after 3 wriggles and passed out! She's now snuggled into my armpit
In expecting her to wake shortly as we are approaching the 45 min mark.
I hate that bastard 45 min mark.

Why can't she get herself off to sleep.. Grrrrrrrr

WilHarlot · 13/05/2015 08:14

Welcome new people! Lovely to have new babies.

That sounds horrific zy.

I used to get so stressed at the 45 minute mark with my first Min, damn annoying. It's better this time because she just falls asleep whenever and I have no idea how long for as am too busy doing other things. It probably is 45 minutes but it helps that I don't know!

minimooo · 13/05/2015 08:33

Thanks for the lovely welcome! Anyone had any experience with milk blisters? I think I have one and not sure what to do...midwife coming today so will ask her, but wondered if you ladies had any experience of them?

Pisghetti · 13/05/2015 09:21

I think Zyla had one recently Mini - there was talk of sterilised needles wince

I've done the wrong boob thing again!! Going to get the pump on the job as BabyPis is fast asleep.

WilHarlot · 13/05/2015 09:57

Haha Pis, put a hair bobble on the wrist of the side you need to feed from to help you remember.

Someone definitely had a blister recently, sounds painful.

BabyWil slept through the night Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin I think it's because I publicly shamed her last week, she's toughened up Grin .

FurryScoob · 13/05/2015 10:23

Morning viroids

Congratulations & hello could & mini

Well done microwil on the sleep!

Poo explosion sounds lovely zyla Smile
We're just coming through our first wave of teething hell, 2 teeth have sprouted & my god can she bite! Shock

Pisghetti · 13/05/2015 11:23

Yay MicroWil!!! Clever girl Grin

Wil that's genius! I always have hair bobbles by the side of the bed too. I'll try that tonight.

Zyla when BabyPis did that to DP I nearly died laughing. He didn't find it quite as funny.....
