We've no time for JSing. We're battling green nappies, sleepless nights, x-box playing men and trying to hide our sling addictions. Fuck it, let's do a runner on a golf cart.

Haha Pis for you or someone else?

Yeah that's what I took when pg Ness so will give it a bash and see if it helps or if it's just a bug. Thanks.

Pisghetti · 30/04/2015 18:33

Me and DP so at least I got fed too Smile

BabyPis has slept all day apart from waking every couple of hours or so screaming for boob. She did have a sore looking rash on her cheeks but that seems to have cleared up. She doesn't have a temperature and her nappies are normal. Not sure if I should be more worried or not Confused

I'm so hungry today. DP has nipped out with DS and I have speed eaten a cornetto because I fancied one and I know he'd judge me for eating ice cream before dinner. As BabyPis is feeding more than usual today this justifies extra eats right....?

JuniDD · 30/04/2015 18:51

I'm always ravenous when babyj feeds a lot. One ice cream is positively restrained!

Nessalina · 30/04/2015 20:14

Ooh I could murder an ice cream!

WilHarlot · 30/04/2015 20:30

mmm ice cream. I agree stopping at one is pretty good.

I keep needing to cough. I'm so going to wake up the baby.

I asked the HVs at my bf group if I should worry because Micro wanted to sleep so much in the daytime Pis and they laughed at me so I think you're fine Grin .

Pisghetti · 01/05/2015 03:51

I had freshly baked cookies and ice cream for dessert Grin just to clarify - I am not a domestic goddess but had cookie dough in the fridge as DS brought it home after a cookery lesson. I might encourage him to make more.....

She doesn't usually sleep all day. She woke up bright as a button at about 8 so we thought we might be in for an horrendous night but she settled at half elevenish and has just dropped off after a feed so not too shabby at all! Need to attempt a transfer and nip off for a wee without waking her up now.....

JuniDD · 01/05/2015 04:20

Hope the transfer went well.

Crazy night feed here involving a lot of shouting "DADA! LALA!" It's lovely she's so chatty but not right now..

WilHarlot · 01/05/2015 07:42

Freshly baked cookies sound amazing. I need a teenage cooking slave Wink !

Had a crap night here also Juni. Think she wanted a party to celebrate. It's like having a completely different baby who I have to get to know again. Apparently she no longer settles in the night without being fed. Hmm

JuniDD · 01/05/2015 20:00

What have you all been doing? I had a 2 and 3 year old over. Hard. Work! But she did go back to sleep at 6am so we didn't get up til 9am. Feel a lot better than I expected at 4am.

ZylaB · 01/05/2015 21:00

MrZ is off for a week so celebrating with some fizz yay! It's do nice knowing I'll have help :)

WilHarlot · 02/05/2015 08:33

That's great Zyla, makes such a difference.

Saw the pic on fb Juni, v cute. Agree toddler phase is crazy compared to baby phase.

We went out for the day yesterday but I felt like shit. Feel a bit better today after a decent night's sleep and am going to try to get some stuff done round the house. Hoping MrWil will take toddler out for a bit if he ever gets his lazy ass out of bed.

TheBooMonster · 02/05/2015 08:51

E had has a couple of good nights for sleep preceded by hours of screaming and feeding but A (who is still in nappies) has somehow managed to wet the bed two mornings in a row Hmm I think we need to give potty training another stab but I'm not really sure where to begin...

OP posts:
WilHarlot · 02/05/2015 09:54

How old is she Boo? We're at the stage of pants in the day and nappies at night and not sure how to progress. For daytime, we just stayed in for a week and went cold turkey on the nappies. First three days or so we took her to toilet every half hour/hour and then by about day four or five she was asking to go when she needed. Can't master poos though.

Pisghetti · 02/05/2015 15:45

I delegated potty training to the outlaws. He went there for a weekend and came home without nappies. God only knows what they did. I should suggest they do residential courses! They're his paternal grandparents so not B's grandparents otherwise I'd be doing the same this time too.

Glad you're feeling better Wil Smile

Minion · 02/05/2015 19:53

Sorry fell off thread, pure sleep deprivation!
I'll be back. When R has decided her 30 min wake ups arent longer needed

Nessalina · 03/05/2015 00:22

Hey all Smile Busy busy, christening tomorrow for J! I have inexpertly iced a cake Blush Just been out for lovely curry & wine whilst GPs babysat Smile J is having boozy boob before I sleep!

WilHarlot · 03/05/2015 05:21

God they sound like magicians Pis, amazing.

Hope you're ok Min.

Have a lovely day Ness.

Anyone else think that was a brave choice of post-birth dress for Kate? She must have had some kind of maternity pad Fort Knox going on under there.

ZylaB · 03/05/2015 07:01

Maternity pad Fort Knox mwahahaha

We're off to my brother and sil's forces the night, H's first night away -gulp.

Pisghetti · 03/05/2015 09:13

Ha Fort Knox! I was in black trousers for at least the first week (and still bled on my jeans when I braved them)

I think I've glossed over the memories of things like scooping poo out of the bath - there was still a little work to be done! He hit a sort of regression too where he just started weeing himself All The Time and he'd know he was doing it! Drove me nuts. I remember going out shopping with a friend and her two children and her daughter was doing it all day too. Made me feel better to know I wasn't alone anyway!

Hope it goes well today Ness!

WilHarlot · 03/05/2015 09:57

The poo in the bath Envy . Not so bad when it's one giant jobbie but when it's hundreds of little pellets or even worse, a river of poo. Foul.

Hope it goes well zyla miniwil used to be a screechy nightmare away from home

couldntbebothered · 03/05/2015 10:56

Tired...lots of feeding and not a lot of sleep...just thought about having a nap and a feed was demanded!

Agree on the royal post birth dress - where's the black maternity leggings?! Grin

Pisghetti · 03/05/2015 17:24

Are breastfeeding food cravings a thing? I have crisps in the cupboard and chocolate mousses in the fridge and I'm totally fantasizing about using the crisps (probably ready salted... Possibly cheese and onion) to eat the mousse Shock

Pisghetti · 03/05/2015 17:29

This gave me a chuckle Smile

WilHarlot · 03/05/2015 17:47

Haha that's good Pis. Can't say I've had weird cravings but I am eating ALL the food.

I would say it will settle down Could but we've had a day of crying and feeding here.

JuniDD · 03/05/2015 20:42

Aw could hope you got that nap.

I mainly crave sweet things but as I am now trying to start losing some weight I have to eat MEAT. Maybe next week...

I am SO JEALOUS of Kate's lovely hair. Mine was a wreck after the labour and I ended up wearing a headscarf the whole time I was in hospital and a bit after as washing & drying it is a mission. I would've loved a hair stylist for leaving. And a rank of photographers, quite frankly, as leaving felt pretty noteworthy after a fricking week.

So yeah, separation anxiety. Tiring.
