Jabs are evil.

What does H weigh now zyla?

Miniwil and I are ill so we're having a duvet day. I sense it won't be that relaxing with the baby involved...

ZylaB · 28/04/2015 09:07

Just going to find out wil when I can get dressed! Fx

ZylaB · 28/04/2015 09:08

Hope you and miniwil feel better soon. Duvet days are ace for when you're ill. Flowers

RPopz · 28/04/2015 10:07

Haha Furry you little weirdo Smile I'm so not looking forward to real food poo Hmm

Lol, that's more veg than I've had in a month... go R! Sorry about the bad night though...

Feel better soon Wil x

ZylaB · 28/04/2015 11:14

9lb 12 yay H! That's a pound and one ounce in two weeks. I thoight it might be a little more cos of the mad cluster feeding but she was maybe just upping my supply a bit. Dead pleased with her though, she's following the 25th centile line when corrected back 4 weeks. The HV tried to persuade me to leave it at least 3 weeks before I go back and wanted me to really leave it a month. I tried to explain its for reassurance for me after the weight issues after she was born and taking 5 weeks to get back to birth weight etc, but she wasn't very understanding...

WilHarlot · 28/04/2015 12:36

It's maybe just because after putting on such a lot like that amount, sometimes they don't put on much the following week and she doesn't want you to worry? Micro is only about a pound heavier than that at a guess zyla so H is doing brilliantly!

Anyone got a good BLW book?

WilHarlot · 28/04/2015 12:37

Also can anyone think of a cool christening present which isn't your standard silver thing?

ZylaB · 28/04/2015 12:52

We got a lovely baby present from some friends which was a framed thing with a pretty background and our three names and also the words 'our family' done interlinked in scrabble letters. It's lovely and gone up on the wall, something like that might work wil?

The pound in two weeks is what she's done for the last six weeks, I could just do with the cluster feeds to stop during the day, I feel like my boobs need a break sometimes lol.

ZylaB · 29/04/2015 05:01

looks around

It's getting quiet in here!

WilHarlot · 29/04/2015 07:58

It's so quiet. Thanks for idea - actually reminded me of an artist I have on fb who does personalised pictures but they're about £50 so undecided as I could probably get a really nice toy for that.

Ugh I have a temperature.

ZylaB · 29/04/2015 08:40

Aww paracetamol and a cuppa! Feel better wil you're having a rough time of it!

JuniDD · 29/04/2015 11:03

Hope you can get your feet up wil.

Baby napping (in her cot for once), but I know if I try to shower or have a cup of tea she'll wake. If I sit and fester she'll go hours. Angry Angry

RPopz · 29/04/2015 11:14

Sleep regression. Bah. Jabs this morning... calpol at the ready!

Bought him a jumperoo yesterday.... his little face is hilarious in it

WilHarlot · 29/04/2015 17:36

Thanks. Wondering if I have a bit of hayfever too or if it's all bug. Anyone else got hayfever symptoms yet?

Hope you got your shower Juni.

I love the jumperoo. Don't think we'll be able to use it this time though, must ask.

FurryScoob · 29/04/2015 18:15

I'm in hayfever hell wil but I live in a house surrounded by rape seed. Hope you feel better soon Flowers

Mrfurry is driving me insane, he can't look after miniscoob for more than 10 minutes without wanting me to fetch something or watch her while he just makes a quick drink. How the hell does he think I survive all day, all I'm doing is cleaning the bathroom. Angry

ZylaB · 29/04/2015 18:17

Oh my god, I've just discovered raspberry magnums, this may end up with me the size of a house within a month! Grin

We're picking up my nephew's jumparoo this weekend but I susoect H's legs will be way too short for it for a while to come (she also can't hold her head up for too long yet but we might not see them for a while so making the most of it :))

JuniDD · 29/04/2015 18:21

Who zyla you star. I have a box of them to try. Yum!

She went two hours then enjoyed watching me shower. Lucky girl. Hmm

We seem to have some sort of separation anxiety going on. Not sure I'm made for it, bit unsympathetic. Blush

Nessalina · 29/04/2015 19:33

Ive been to a sling library! Hired meself a Beco Gemini - J seems to approve, he fell asleep in it whilst I was trying it out!! Shock
Sympathies to all those with sniffles, I feel your pain. I have a bit of a cold and a twitchy eye Confused Early to bed for me!

WilHarlot · 29/04/2015 19:56

How much does it cost to hire Ness?

Haha Juni I'm like that! Just quit crying will you, there's nothing actuslly wrong. Our poor children Grin .

Rape seed is the worst Furry, that must be torture. I overdid it today and now feel terrible. Have a hospital trip tomorrow so can't even take it easy then. God I am such a crap ill person - I think I'm the one in our relationship who suffers with manflu.

RPopz · 29/04/2015 20:16

Its £7.50 a fortnight at mine wil. MrPopz has been taking antihistamines for a couple of weeks already.

I'm still undecided on the jumperoo. I think he likes it but not really sure why it's meant to be so bloody entertaining haha! I guess it'll come into its own when he's a bit older.

Nessalina · 29/04/2015 20:39

£6 for a fortnight, £10 for four weeks! And you can go back and switch in your rental period if you want a change too. Very good value! I was there over an hour and tried on four carriers, they were very helpful Smile

WilHarlot · 30/04/2015 06:53

Really must try to get to one.

Not sure what antihistamines I can take whilst bfing. I imagine the pharmacist will say none and I'll have to ask a doctor. The ones I took when pg say not to take when bfing but that sounds stupid right?

TheBooMonster · 30/04/2015 09:52

The shit hit the fan at DHs work, the person who was meant to be above him in his new possition quit so they gave him her job O.o queue one very stressed mrBoo! Feel a bit guilty as he's been coming home and cooking / taking over the evening meal every evening who is this changeling even if he doesn't do it quite the way I would and I'd be far more great fun for him to take E for 10 minutes so I could shower, I actually miss cooking but I'd never admit that in a million years

First week of slimming world has gone well, lost 4lb!

E is feeding a lot, even when she falls asleep and I try to put her down she'll wake and demand more food, she's making herself sick I assume because she's having more than she actually has space for and is next to impossible to burp Hmm

OP posts:
Nessalina · 30/04/2015 11:00

I take a Cetirizine daily Wil, and I did all the way through pregnancy (after checking with GP), and she didn't bat an eye when I mentioned it at 6 week check!
All these things have to say don't take when BFing coz there's been no clinical trials proving that it's ok, but then there never will be any because it would be unethical! So GPs just have to sign off everything! Confused

Pisghetti · 30/04/2015 13:53

Thanks for the sling advice ladies. With a bit of perseverance she's now dozing happily in the RS! Unfortunately this left my hands free for making lunch and washing up after Hmm

Wil as Ness said it's virtually impossible to get a clear green light on any medication. A pharmacist should be able to advise though shouldn't they? Wonder if those sucky aspirator things work on grown ups.....
