JuniDD · 11/01/2015 20:24

When did they stop for you wil? Feel like they're over at 11 weeks. Man, the stink I'd get on me. Hmmm!

willywallace · 11/01/2015 22:00

Can't remember at all Juni, seem to have got them early this time Envy . Can't believe how fast time is flying, seems like just a couple of weeks ago you had her.

JuniDD · 11/01/2015 22:14

This time 12 weeks ago I was at hospital listening to some woman give birth very noisily on the MLU!

Here's a pic of my little munchkin, love her to pieces!

Minion · 12/01/2015 07:08

Cuteness!
Ahh yes tge bf sweats! And the constant dry lips and mouth

Such fun!

R is certainly testing me this morning. She's doing this weird moaning snotty sound for a. Short while whilst she sleeps. I pick her up, feed her, two bottles.. She also ha trapped wind. 3 hrs last she's down.
40 mins later, she's doing it again. She's not hungry. She's been picked up, currently snoozing away in my arms.
Am going to attempt to put her down again.

Mondays another write off.

RPopz · 12/01/2015 09:41

11 weeks!?! Shock Jesus. I only get them at night... waking up soaked... Blush Changed the sheets last night, lord knows why I bothered! Eurgh.

DS slept in the Bednest last night!! Grin Grin

RPopz · 12/01/2015 09:43

Need to go on the web and look at your pic Juni!!

I don't remember hearing anyone on labour ward... hopefully this means no one heard me... I got a bit shouty hysterical at the ventouse stage... Blush

JuniDD · 12/01/2015 09:43

popz it does tail off! Probs three weeks for the waking up soaked through to ease off but last night is probs the first night I haven't changed my PJs. We do have a hot bed though.

RPopz · 12/01/2015 09:44

Hehe, loving the smiley foxes Smile

Nessalina · 12/01/2015 09:51

Ooh good work on Bednesting BabyPopz! Grin
That sounds trying Min... Has she got a bit of a cold? J wakes himself snorting when he's a bit bunged up. Saline drops are good - the soften the Ming up so they can sneeze it out. J relieved himself of his snot all over DH's glasses the other morning, I nearly weed laughing!

Minion · 12/01/2015 17:28

Phoned gps at 12:30, feckers still haven't called me back. Thankfully she's now sleeping a bit more today, sadly is on me and not in her basket.
Why couldn't she have been like this on the weekend then I could have given the grandparents some ' special bonding time ' whilst I went to the cinema.

The first night away from her has been booked... Am I supposed to be bereft at the thought?
I'm not..
She's in great hands with her grandparents so that's a big relief.

Where t is everyone today? I've not moved off the sofa..

RPopz · 12/01/2015 17:52

We went to Aldi and then took the kid for his first McDonald's... Took him to krispy kreme yesterday. Poor thing is a consumer pawn already. Now it is fussy o'clock, shortly to be followed by cluster feed o'clock... so I will be on sofa all night!

RPopz · 12/01/2015 17:55

That's crappy of the GP Min!

FurryScoob · 12/01/2015 18:04

Cute pic juni
Hope you got through to gp's minion

I've been to a coffee morning with NCT ladies & it's made me wish you lot were real. There all obsessed with routines, Pilates, yoga & forcing their babies to sleep after being awake for a few hours so they don't get overstimulated. I'm spending my days laid on the floor in pj's with DD whenever she's awake playing with her not covering her with a blanket to stop her looking around. Maybe I'm a bad mum but I prefer my way & as much as I'd like to be thinner I'm in no rush just yet. Sad

JuniDD · 12/01/2015 18:12

Aw furry, I am the anti-routine lady, join me! Am lying on floor in my PJs too and it wouldn't occur to me to cover her head. Whut?!?! I would also like to drop a bit of this chub but I need it for bf. Or something. Wink

Been to baby massage and spent most of it cleaning up an epic nappy!

Then had lactation consultant who was like "it's all FINE!" so that was nice.

Super tired today so hoping she's nice tonight and sleeps after I've had my dinner.

Enjoy your night out minion! Don't worry about should or should not.

RPopz · 12/01/2015 18:17

Haha, Furry I'm real, promise Grin

willywallace · 12/01/2015 18:23

I'm with you two, these routine queens are bonkers. I didn't really meet anyone like that from baby things although I know some from other walks of life.

Hope the doctor got back to you Min.

Minion · 12/01/2015 19:08

They didn't call.
Now she's all rattly nosed! Its not stopping her eating though, so I assume she feels ok, just a bit under the weather.
No sleep at Minions tonight I fear with snorey head here.
Girls can I ask a question? Honest answers if that's OK..
Is anyone not totally enamored with the newborn stage?

I'm feeling a bit low with constant Nappy, feed, sleep, and repeat. And a bit lonely if im honest.
All my family are two hours away so that's gutting too.
I can't wait til she stays to react to me, at the moment I just feel she doesn't even know who I am.
Which is silly, I know but...

willywallace · 12/01/2015 19:20

Loads of people feel like that Min, plus you're about the right time for the baby blues to be kicking in. I had MrWil off for almost 6 weeks so I managed to avoid that lonely feeling in the difficult first few weeks.

Have you looked up groups or activities in your area? Even if you meet other people who annoy you by talking about their babies constantly, it still actually helps getting out the house and having somewhere to go. Mother and Baby group, buggy exercise group if you're up to it, baby massage? You may feel like things like that aren't really up your street but they can get you through the first difficult stage and then you can ditch them if they really aren't for you.

I don't have family that close by either so know what it's like although my mum is good about visiting if I need help.

willywallace · 12/01/2015 19:21

Oh btw some people suggest putting vicks on the soles of the feet to help a cold. I don't particularly think it works but I know people who swear by it.

RPopz · 12/01/2015 19:34

I hear ya min. It's so much harder than I thought it would be. But simultaneously I adore him and the thought of him growing up anymore makes me cry (actually everything does Hmm ). Plus I'm getting annoyed with myself for feeling low and "wasting" these precious days. Night's are lonely too. I feel obliged to sit downstairs for epic cluster feeds so at least DH can get some sleep... There's only so much shit tv you can watch. DH was amazing for the birth and last week but think the novelty is wearing off a little now. Having to nag him to do stuff which I don't want to do cos I know he is trying and putting up with my hysterical breakdowns etc... he's increasingly more interested in his phone/ gaming/ tv/ hour long baths again though... and I want to shake him and say your son will only be new born once!!!
