Ok but don't shout at me... This is the bag:

www.storksak.com/product.php?shopprodid=859&variantid=1778

I got it for half price from an outlet.... I know it's still outrageously overpriced but its an investment Wink And its SO beautiful Shock

ZylaB · 03/03/2015 21:21

Oooh that's lovely! Ours is a lot more messenger bag/unisex so DH can carry it without pulling faces, it's great and fits loads in really well, but it isn't as pretty as yours! We have this one

RPopz · 03/03/2015 21:30

We've been using the Boots freebie one up til now zyla so DH can have that one! Grin

Nessalina · 03/03/2015 21:42

Hey all! I'm sooo behind on reading the thread! By the time I've caught up, I don't have time to reply, and then when I reply my replies are out of date Grin
Hope everyone is surviving??? New thread soon and I can start afresh!! Xx

willywallace · 03/03/2015 21:45

Waaaa I can't copy and paste that on my phone. I have a storksak one but it's not one of the gorgeous leather ones. Tell me the name of it so I can have bag envy please.

Ah zyla I would say you'll forget the madness soon enough and have another but with everything you had to go through I'm not sure that applies to you. Maybe it works if you get a puppy instead?

JuniDD · 03/03/2015 21:46

That is a swanky bag rpopz! I think my mum also said the 2nd child is when it starts to sink in...MrJ is out tonight and I am enjoying just "being" without having to try to bother with him! I do get fed up of being expected to be all things to all people when I just want to focus on the baby. Even the bloody cats piss me off trying to sit on me!

Think I'll head to bed as I have no idea what kind of night she's going to do. Last night was awesome but I know I'm not lucky enough for another and I'm not sure if I want to get into dream feeds or not.

FurryScoob · 03/03/2015 21:46

Evening viroids!
Glad the none sleeping babies are finally getting the hang of it!

Hope E's not too bad cookie

Flowerspopz Mr furry was bloody useless for quite a while but he has changed a lot in the last 2 weeks, so much so that I'm off out tomorrow & leaving DD with him still crapping myself at leaving her

I can't remember who recommended the airflow cot wrap on the last thread but thank you, I got 1 today & can now stop worrying about DD poking limbs through the cot, how the hell to they have so much energy in their sleep?

RPopz · 03/03/2015 22:55

Thanks furry ... I think my main gripe with it is, I'll tell him he's being a duck for xyz reason and he'll agree and apologise... and then seconds later be doing the exact same fucking thing! Angry So either he just doesn't listen, or he doesn't care. AIBU to think that just because he goes out to work that means he gets to spend all his free time on his hobbies???

It's the Ellena in taupe Wil Smile Itkk and probably turn out to be wildly impractical but hey... Smile

DS is wide awake... this doesn't bode a well...

ZylaB · 04/03/2015 00:24

wil we have 3 cats, can't see us getting a puppy! ;). I might change my mind but would need to fairly soonish as I'm whetting old and woul want second soon if I did it, at the moment there's no chance though! (I know I may change my mind! Hehe)

waves at ness

H had the longest cluster feed earlier and we went to sleep at 10ish, I was hoping for 3 hours or so, but no... Back up just before midnight lol.

willywallace · 04/03/2015 00:37

Oh good grief it's gorgeous. Makes me wish I'd gone for one of the leather ones now. Especially as I'm still using the same bag for this one. If it's anything like the one I have it'll last really well.

Have you asked him when he thinks you get time for your hobbies Popz? Surely he would agree you get the same amount of 'free time' as him? So maybe sit him down and get him to do a plan of the week where this is the case. If he spends three hours doing whatever then he has to find the time for you to have three hours to yourself will make him shit himself at the prospect of having a baby for that long by himself.

Glad MrScoob has stepped up. I think they generally don't realise how much there is to do at first. Best thing you can do really is to leave them with the baby to just get on with it and find out but it's so hard to do.

I don't think MrWil changed her nappy before handover but I'm not waking her up to do it. Let's hope she doesn't have a soggy crib by morning.

RPopz · 04/03/2015 13:30

Its awkward with bfing isn't it. I can't just fuck off out for hours, as much as I'd like to teach him a lesson! Especially since Baby Awkward is point blank refusing the bottle...

He did the washing up before he went out this morning so maybe there's hope yet Wink

Just got back from our post natal app. DS has had a needle in each leg and I've had a finger up my arse. Joy.

ZylaB · 04/03/2015 14:33

Oh poor you popz hope it was as ok as it could be!

Just had HV round, who had nothing to do as H was weighed on mon and the mw said to leave it a week before doing it again. Still we made appointments for that and for measurements the week before our 8 week check and immunisation. The mw also told me to wait until 6-8 weeks to try her on a bottle of expressed milk, and only if she was back at her birth weight. It'd be nice to let DH do a whole night of feeds, though my boobs may explode if I try that hehe! I'm a leaky leaky thing at the moment :(

RPopz · 04/03/2015 14:45

It was pretty painful zy I'm not gonna lie!! DS is all grizzly after his jabs so think an afternoon on the sofa is called for Brew Brew Brew

RPopz · 04/03/2015 14:48

Leaking is such a pain isn't it! Allegedly it stops at 6 weeks once your supply gets established but I'm still changing my top 3 times a night Confused

ZylaB · 04/03/2015 16:14

I've taken to wrapping a towel around my boobs at night or I soak the sheets lol. I know I could wear a bra and nipple pads, but I'm more comfy with my massive norks without a bra at night!

ZylaB · 04/03/2015 16:16

I might brave a bumps and babies group on Friday, but why are they all in the morning??!

cookielove · 04/03/2015 16:46

zyla my bumps and babies is at 1:30pm :)

E has a terrible cold! He is OK but has reduced the amount of food he is taking, which isn't too bad as he is still having milk. But he is so snotty and coughing lots!

OP posts:
willywallace · 04/03/2015 16:50

Baby things are usually in the afternoons or late morning round here. Toddler things however start at the crack of dawn so I'm always rushing to make them.

I never take my bra off. It's a total pain.

We have our hospital appointment tomorrow.

How is the arse holding up Popz? We're not having much luck with a bottle either. However your DH could take him out in the buggy for an hour so you can have an uninterrupted bath or something.

RPopz · 04/03/2015 17:25

The really annoying thing is I tried him with a bottle at 4 weeks just to see if he'd have it and he did!! Should have been more consistent about it but I hate expressing. I want to go on a night out in a few weeks time though so thought I'd try it again this week and he hates it. Sigh. Can't decide whether to persevere or not.

Poopy times are still sore wil but not as bad as it was! GP says I have an anterior fissure and gave me some magic cream Wink

Might have to send DH out with him in the car later! He bearly slept last night, we got up early for the Drs and he's a mega grump this aft. Just spent the last hour screaming inconsolably - he didn't even want boob which is new! He's spark out on me now, I daren't move Confused

willywallace · 04/03/2015 17:42

Poor thing.

I got suppositories (sp?) prescribed but haven't picked them up yet.

I am going to perservere with a bottle. Would he put it in his mouth at all? Could need a different sized teat?

My baby is grouchy too and I really need to pee.

willywallace · 04/03/2015 17:42

Urgent need for new thread!

Minion · 04/03/2015 18:35

Hi gals!
Soz about leaky boobages and snotty babies.
Also Soz I haven't been around, heads a bit mashed etc. LO still isn't feeding right, HV thinks she may not like the taste of the aptamil pepti, and she's barely even hungry/waking for food, just in the morning. Today she went 5 hours after having only 50mls so we fed her again and she only had 70!
So we are going back to the original aptamil and get her weighed tomorrow.
We personally don't think she has a cows milk allergy, just mild reflux which can hopefully be managed with just ranitidine.

I'm just at my wits end, I feel so bad for not being able to fix her.

Mums guilt eh?

JuniDD · 04/03/2015 18:45

Will do new thread once grumpalina is down but go on ahead if anyone gets to a computer first. Shock
