5lb 14oz, only small gains but she keeps going up! They can't be worried cos the mw discharged us, so just health visitors to weigh her now (and I'm not sure how I feel about HVs...)

So that's goodthink she's a bit under the weather though, been really clingy and wanting boob all day to comfort herself, will see how she goes. I'm meant to be going to hospital for eye check tomorrow, but it means taking H and hanging around for hours after until the drops wear off and I can drive home, if we have a bad night I may not go...this is the one department that was bad during my pg and was meant to give me an apt 6 months ago, so I won't feel bad if I miss it!

ZylaB · 02/03/2015 20:20

Yay for E sitting up unaided, that's ace! H desperately wants to hold her head up and keeps trying but it's too heavy lol!

willywallace · 02/03/2015 20:49

Well done E!

That's very nearly 6lbs zyla bless her. She must be teeny weeny, how lovely.

ZylaB · 02/03/2015 21:21

She is my dinky girl :) but they seem happy enough with her, so it's ok!

JuniDD · 02/03/2015 21:31

Ahh, yay for dinky girl!

And yay for E sitting, they're all growing up.

We did baby yoga today which was more like baby/mum/yoga with a relaxation at the end like the end of Lazy Daisy. Of course, DD played up in the quiet bit but I caught enough to feel a bit choked up. D'awww.

Does anyone else have piles of clean washing everywhere...? I just can't be arsed to put it away and want to throw away all of my clothes and make a capsule wardrobe. Just finding the time. Argh!

RPopz · 02/03/2015 22:23

Haha Juni I've been on a clothes sorting/ throwing away spree this week!! I pretty much wear the same three outfits to go out in anyway!

RPopz · 02/03/2015 22:23

Well done H and well done your boobs Zyla Grin

ZylaB · 02/03/2015 22:32

juni our dining table is full of clean washing!

willywallace · 02/03/2015 23:00

I do Juni. EVERYWHERE! Driving me nuts.

Hope everyone has a good night. I can't tell how mine is going to go yet.

willywallace · 02/03/2015 23:44

Also - if anyone is on a computer over next two days, we could probably do with a new thread.

JuniDD · 03/03/2015 04:31

Holy smokez! Fed her at half ten, don't usually and she went through til four. Brilliant! Didn't want yo get into a dream feed but...

Only problem is she's wet...Sad but half asleep. Grrrr.

willywallace · 03/03/2015 07:32

Ah I hate the changing dilemma.

I got 12.45 until 7!!!! Whoop whoop. Not sure if it was a one-off. Now just have to try to move that bedtime a little earlier. She was stirring at 4 and I bunged the white noise on and it worked like magic. I'm starting to quite like the sound of it too.

In other news, my wisdom tooth is killing me and I reckon I'm going to have to get it out Sad .

JuniDD · 03/03/2015 08:43

Sleeps all round!

Glad it's not just me with the laundry...today it will be put away.

Third set of jabs today. Seems to be the one that makes them a bit wonky after so wish us luck.

ZylaB · 03/03/2015 13:07

I was really stressed last night when she wouldn't settle and we had to go to hospital this morning for my eye check, so I've made an executive decision that this afternoon will be spent in bed having skin to skin, cuddles and feeds. I want to enjoy her too dammit! :)

JuniDD · 03/03/2015 14:19

Good for you zyla. I had a shitfit at some point as I felt I was only holding her for feeds so MrJ had to take a backseat. Enjoy those cuddles!

Here's a blog post my friend wrote about calcium after having a baby. useful for all of us but particularly if you're dairy-free wil

Just had the third jabs. she's such a pro now, just a wail while they went in and then fine. Used our new buggy and I LOVE it. Got a baby jogger vue, so much easier for getting out of the house than constructing the bloody pioneer every time, particularly as the chassis lives in the car!

willywallace · 03/03/2015 15:57

Hope you're having a nice afternoon zyla.

Thanks for that Juni. Ha are you two buggies in already? You'll be collecting them like slings. Why is the pioneer difficult? I'm thinking of getting a second hand double.

cookielove · 03/03/2015 16:03

My boy is poorly again!! Why!?!

OP posts:
JuniDD · 03/03/2015 16:19

Yep, two buggies in.

The vue is umbrella fold so easy to store in the porch. The chassis for the pioneer is just a bit too bulky to keep in the house and involves going out to the car, putting the pram bit on while the baby is ready in her pramsuit and the reverse when going back in. This way I can go straight into the house with her in the pram & leave her to sleep in the hall.

She's asleep on the sofa with my mum now (mum also asleep). Very cute! I'm bloody cooking...next week I'm going to try enforcing a nap in her cot which is handily right next to my bed ie I get a bloody nap too!

JuniDD · 03/03/2015 17:18

Sorry E not well cookie, what's wrong?

willywallace · 03/03/2015 17:25

Oh no Cookie, what's wrong?

I know a couple of people with Silver Crosses who hate how bulky they are.

RPopz · 03/03/2015 17:34

Lol I was thinking the same re Juni's new buggy wil Grin I love our silver cross but the bloody thing is too wide to fit through the back door. So I have to fold and unfold it in the garden. DS has some kind of spidey sense anyway... he always sleeps in the pram but as soon as I disconnect the carry cot and bring it in the house he's wide awake and screamy Angry

Interesting bowel habits here this week. DS went on a 24 hour poo strike the other day and then did about 4 in the space of 30 minutes.... Yesterday we had two gigantic, up the back and down the leg, full outfit changing, vest in the bin type poonamis... Today we are doing tiny little poos every hour or so... Sigh. He's a bit snuffly too and his jabs are tomorrow. Joy. On the plus side my new changing bag arrived today and it is a thing of beauty Grin

What's up with E cookie? Poor little guy.

How long does it generally take the menfolk to start acting like their life has actually changed....? Angry Angry Angry I'm sick of constantly saying the same fucking things to him now to the point where I actually don't care anymore. Which I'm sure he probably thinks is better than me yelling at him all the time but actually I just don't give a shit about him right now. I can't be arsed with him.

ZylaB · 03/03/2015 18:35

Oh cookie hope he feels better soon!

ZylaB · 03/03/2015 18:38

popz sorry to hear about your man! I'm sure they don't get the enormity of things! What bag did you get?

willywallace · 03/03/2015 18:49

Yes link to the bag!

I found it takes the man however long until the second child is born. Hope that helps... Confused Wink .

ZylaB · 03/03/2015 20:24

But...but... After how much it broke me this time, H may be an only child!!
