This one won't really be put down in the daytime unless in car seat or buggy. Can last a couple of hours at night though. Hopefully just a phase Zyla.

Def cake Furry. Or cornflakes followed by cake.

Sigh I have to get up.

Minion · 25/02/2015 07:57

wil
Get the swaddle.
Get it now. Before they sell out.
Save your sanity.

The new milk is for cows milk intolerance. They're not saying she has one but they're ruling it out. Don't half make her trump tho.

FurryScoob · 25/02/2015 08:29

min you must have a good tkmaxx ours is like a jumble sale & never has anything useful.

No cake got eaten, some stupid idiot decided to put it in a well sealed box that can't be opened with 1 handAngry DD's still asleep on my shoulder, I have dribble down my boob.

willywallace · 25/02/2015 09:44

That is torture Furry.

Really Min? Will try to get there on friday.

Minion · 25/02/2015 11:39

Oh god, will somebody think of the cake!

Now, I obviously don't want to jinx things but she's not cried yet today. Still not feeding great as she used to but small steps.

JuniDD · 25/02/2015 11:49

Hope you got to the cake.

Just had my gp surgery call to book my blood test. The one they wouldn't book a few weeks ago. Charing Cross clearly wrote a stern letter!!!

willywallace · 25/02/2015 12:10

What's that for Juni?

Great news Min!

I have so many appointments at the moment I don't have time to breathe.

Nessalina · 25/02/2015 12:21

Good news Min! It's been all about the screaming in the Ness household today unfortunately, I don't know what's got into him! I've plonked him in the pram and gone out for a wander and he's dropped off thank god!

JuniDD · 25/02/2015 12:42

Glad he's dropped off ness.

Blood test is to check I don't have cancer... yknow, nothing important. Follow up from molar pg. I know all is ok but my follow up centre clearly unimpressed with my delay!!

willywallace · 25/02/2015 14:50

I don't really understand what a molar pregnancy is, off to google.

Hope the screaming is done with Ness. This one screamed her way round the health centre but seems to have settled a little now. And is awake for once!

RPopz · 25/02/2015 15:06

Bloody hell juni. GPs are such dicks.

willywallace · 25/02/2015 17:44

Gosh Juni, that sounds pretty horrible. It must have been awful for you.

Minion · 25/02/2015 18:38

I've only met one gp who listened to me and that was yesterday cause her kids has reflux so she knew what tui do.
All ok tho juni?

ZylaB · 25/02/2015 19:48

I'd be so annoyed juni. Fx it's all ok.

I've got to go to hospital on tues to have my eyes checked, it should have been done 6 months ago as part of my diabetes in pg care but the ophthalmology dept were 'behind' and did my first appt but not the follow up. I'll be telling them how unhappy I am when I go, it's not a routine check up and could have caused problem! The rest of my care was ace thoug, just that dept lacking.

JuniDD · 25/02/2015 20:05

hello! I had my placenta checked after she arrived and no abnormalities but guess they have to check this way too.

I stretched out bedtime and now she is wide awake and refusing to feed. Oops...

JuniDD · 25/02/2015 22:27

Any ideas...meeting NCT people tomorrow and we have to take "food to share" which is my LEAST favourite type of meal. They'll all be taking artisan breads and cheeses and veg from their gardens. FML ...any ideas what I can take? I'm more of a Homepride and cheap brie kinda gal.

ZylaB · 25/02/2015 23:32

Take a pizza juni ;)

Uhm, a nice cake? Or some different types of hummus and veg sticks (buy ready made and tip into bowls)

willywallace · 25/02/2015 23:46

Where are you meeting? Surely you can get away with anything from m&s or waitrose? Posh fruit?, coleslaw/potato salad/humous? - do you have a nice deli near by? posh crisps? - the vegetable ones in m&s are quite nice if real crisps wouldn't go down well.

White noise is my new tool.

willywallace · 26/02/2015 03:43

Is it just a party for one tonight?

Minion · 26/02/2015 05:03

Ah I missed the gathering. Husband took over night duties as he didn't do any the night before.

So naturally she only woke the once!
Well, once for a cuddle at 1 (who taught her that trick) and bottle at 4 as predicted.
However just to really ride it home proceeded to vom for him.
She so generous in her sharing...

So I took over as he looked knackered.

Welcome to my world.

Nessalina · 26/02/2015 05:32

Good god!! J's just slept 8-5! Shock
Boobs exploding!

Gosh Juni, that's stressful Confused When do you get results?

M

ZylaB · 26/02/2015 05:37

I've been up every 2 hours wil and soothing in between, better than last night though, but couldn't focus enough to read/post hehe

willywallace · 26/02/2015 05:49

Aw zyla bless you. I was at that point a week or so ago. Now I get the giddy heights of a three hour block but then she is pretty much awake after that. Think I'll have to keep her in with me for the rest of the night as that at least keeps her quiet.

Another busy blooming day today. Can't wait until Sunday for a rest.

JuniDD · 26/02/2015 06:43

Lots of sleep here too though she's currently chatting in her cot. Sorry non-sleepers but your time will come!
I'm not worried about the test as if the tumour was back I'd know about it. Well, pretty sure! They'll call me if any problems.

Veg sticks good idea. Though there are no delis round here...bargain booze maybe. Wink Wink

Nessalina · 26/02/2015 08:32

It's weird, I always thought that newborns would sleep ALL the time, and then you'd get issues as they get older, but it really is the little ones that put you through it Confused Its only 3 months ago James refused to nap in the day, like, ever, and wouldn't go to sleep til 1am!
He's just insisted on having the whole of my boob that's gone 12hrs without feeding, and has predictably thrown up all over himself and me Grin
