I'm having a silly anxiety spiral now about having some terrible gynae thing and having to to into hospital and leave DS Sad

RPopz · 24/02/2015 19:31

That is weird Min!

Lochia stopped about a week and a half ago wil

willywallace · 24/02/2015 19:42

I think maybe it'll be related to your fissure/piles. Are you still taking antibiotics?

RPopz · 24/02/2015 20:23

I finished them on Friday. The bum situation improved slightly with them but hasn't gone away. I was gonna wait til next week for my post natal check up to see what they think. Might have to go in tomorrow now. Though am probably being a drama llama. Was just at the bloody maternity hospital this morning as well!! Angry

willywallace · 24/02/2015 20:27

It's the odour that would bother me more than anything. Wondering if it's infected? Although you'd think antibiotics would have sorted it.

JuniDD · 24/02/2015 20:43

rpopz you're not silly, go get your butthole looked at kid. It's a pretty essential part of the body. I went to the Dr at 4 weeks post birth as I was so worried about cervical prolapse. If I'd thought about it a bit it kinda makes sense everything's a bit low and hanging down after the weight of the baby but I was so worried. Thanks to you.

I hope new milks and meds help these screamy writhy babies. They'll get there.

We did multi-lingual singing today...hadn't realised it was going to be with the bugaboo brigade though in fairness they were very nice and invited me for coffee after. Maybe I'll go next time...

willywallace · 24/02/2015 20:48

Juni that is the EXACT kind of place I would expect to find the Bugaboo brigade.

ZylaB · 24/02/2015 20:53

I can't even imagine going to any sort of class/meetup. h is feeding every hour and a half/ two hours and I just can't imagine getting anywhere. We did go docs today for bp check though, and I'm ok for driving after CS wheee

RPopz · 24/02/2015 21:09

I might ask DH to have a look later.... Lucky bloke Grin

If H is anything like DS Zy you'll find that going out is like some magical hypnosis for them and they just sleep the whole time! Or at least long enough for you to plonk yourself down in a cafe Smile

Am I the only one who thinks bugaboos are the ugliest peaks in existence??! Hooray for yummy mummy friends Juni Wink

willywallace · 24/02/2015 21:29

I don't think I know what a bugaboo looks like. I'm not very up on prams.

I agree that they'll sleep all day if you take them out - although there wouldn't be much point going to a class in that case. She's still wee zyla. She'll be different by the time she's a couple of months. I mostly only leave the house for medical appointments and toddler related reasons.

RPopz · 24/02/2015 21:46

Peaks!?!? prams

JuniDD · 24/02/2015 21:49

See, I wouldn't've minded a bugaboo but I lurve my Silver Cross.

wil I'm a bit...simple sometimes and forget to think about things like that. I just thought it sounded nice, particularly as I tend to sing 80s power ballads and random shit to DD (she loves "Physical" by Olivia Newton John. I throw shapes & everything...). There was also a yummy daddy with a beard. Sigh. It was obvious really, wasn't it.

zyla I didn't leave the house alone until she was 6 weeks old. I also cancelled a class a few times as I just couldn't get out of the house as she'd want to feed when we left. Free classes are good for this as you're not losing money if you can't get out.

My, I'm chatty tonight, blahing all over the FB group too!

willywallace · 24/02/2015 23:19

I feel bad I can't do baby classes because of having a toddler too. Maybe once nursery starts we can fit something in. No catnap again tonight due to little miss spewy so I'm surviving on last night's three hours. Hoping for more tonight but not feeling positive.

Nessalina · 24/02/2015 23:26

Zyla - it was 5 weeks before me & J left the house to go anywhere except the GPs! Grin
Popz - sounds ooky Shock Get checked out! I think I need a foof check, worried my stitches has healed funny...

Why aren't i asleep? See y'all at 2am Grin

FurryScoob · 24/02/2015 23:47

Random foof goo sounds odd but no pain with it must be a good sign.

zyla I didn't leave the house for weeks either, we got everyone to visit us over christmas & bring food supply's!

wil glad your doppey doctor finally saw sence, hope it gets you some sleep or at least a more settled baby.

DD did a well timed poo explosion earlier, literally from the neck down was covered & DP got nicely covered in it too Grin unplanned bath time was the only way to clean her up. Were off to attempt bedtime, I may be back later, I have real Cake to demolish tonight if we're up again.

willywallace · 25/02/2015 00:19

Fuckity fuck, go to sleeeeeeeeeeeeep. I'm cold and tired but those bloody eyes will not close.

Minion · 25/02/2015 00:48

Not even 1am.
Nice one kid.
Thrashing around has stopped! Woopahh
She only feed 2.5 hrs ago, surely can't be hungry. I'll wait til she drops off and hour I can get away without feeding her just yet... Though she'll be up in 2 hrs again...
Dilemma

ZylaB · 25/02/2015 00:49

I feel better about not going out much now! Thanks Grin

I think last night with the sheep was a lucky coincidence now, she just won't settle at all. :(

Nessalina · 25/02/2015 03:28

3:30 rather than 2am, that's new...
Aww, hoping everyone else is back in bed by now?? Confused

willywallace · 25/02/2015 04:18

That sounds like an improvement Ness?

Noooo Zyla, I had just convinced myself that Ewen would be the answer to all my prayers. Say it ain't so that he's failing.

She woke up about half three and just lay having the craic in her crib for half an hour. Hopefully she'll have tired herself out a bit so I can get more sleep tonight.

ZylaB · 25/02/2015 05:12

She's screaming every single time I put her down wil and I have no idea why, or if something's wrong. I'm assuming she's ok as she's ok being held, it's just like we've regressed to the first few days when she had to be held.

Minion · 25/02/2015 05:22

zyla, how old is she now? Are there other things like vomiting or swallowing a after food? Has she a white tongue other than 'milk tongue'?

Oohheemmmgeeee wimmin!! Aside from the two bottles wake ups, she slept.
Still! Quiet! And she's taking her food without fuss.
Please tell me we've find the cause.

FurryScoob · 25/02/2015 06:29
Shock
ZylaB · 25/02/2015 07:11

min she's 17 days today, no vomiting, swallowing after feeds or white tongue. I think she's just decided she was being too good lol

ZylaB · 25/02/2015 07:12

furry have cake!
