Aww ness that's so cute!

Well we're downstairs now and as it's daytime she's settling! Random child Grin

JuniDD · 23/02/2015 09:11

Awake but "simply not hungry mummy darling" Angry I want one of those always latching babies Envy

FurryScoob · 23/02/2015 09:45

Your brave ness I live in fear of the night time spider attack.

Hope your all gonna get some sleep today, I was planning on joining you after DD's evening sleepathon but after a bottle at 12.30 she crashed out in her own cot without thrashing about & slept really well.
Injections in 2 hours so my luck in the sleep department is more than likely about to come to an end!

willywallace · 23/02/2015 10:15

I never found injections made any difference Furry.

Juni, is she happy when awake? Because I'd take that. It's a pain in the arse always having to get the boob out. We had definite smiles this morning though.

Minion · 23/02/2015 11:30

wil, she seems to be. Smiling on occasion, though she makes us work for it. Grumpy on occasion, when tired or bored. Nappies are fine.
Just seems to be the nighttime, last night being the oddest. Literally 10 mins after putting her down in a deep sleep after bottle., wakes up and cries.

Not entirely sure what's going on truth be told.

I want to attribute it to the leap number 2 wonder week as people have reported the same behaviours , fussy, sleeping probs and decreased appetite.

Anyone else have it around week 8?

She settles as soon as you comfort her so I'm putting the co sleeper back against the bed see if that changes anything.

RPopz · 23/02/2015 12:04

We're coming up to that leap min. I thought we were having it early because he was super fussy for a couple of days last week but has settled down a bit again. Hopefully the cosleeper will help you get a bit more sleep.

My living room smells like sweaty socks... I dread to think why.

ZylaB · 23/02/2015 13:30

We had another weight gain, small but a gain Grin that's 3 in a row so I'm happy we have got the feeding sorted. She's back to 10% loss now, so slowly slowly but that's ok :). She's fine in all other ways too so I'm starting to calm down and worry a bit less now yay

Minion · 23/02/2015 16:21

At the docs, they want to see her ASAP. I hope it's just that they need her meds adjusted.
She's literally slept all day.

ZylaB · 23/02/2015 16:56

Fx everything's ok min

RPopz · 23/02/2015 17:20

That's good news Zyla Smile Always a nice sense of achievement when they start gaining! All that positive feeling makes feeds easier too Smile

Oh no min Sad She's putting you through the mill! Hope they get her sorted asap, poor mite.

Just got back from Daisy Tinies. It's a lovely couple of hours but the room is always baking!! Even DS was sweating, poor bugger. Got the major crab on til I stripped him down.

Off to mamas and papas in a bit TO look at an Ergo. Grin

willywallace · 23/02/2015 17:59

What do you do at Tinies Popz?

Did they phone you up Min? What happened?

JuniDD · 23/02/2015 18:20

Great for weight gain zyla and hope all is ok min.

I'm thinking about Daisy babies, popz, so would be interested in a review too.

We've got Babel Babies tomorrow - nursery rhymes in Norwegian, French, Spanish, Italian etc. Shock Think it may just be me and the teacher though as she's still advertising all over Facebook and the term starts tomorrow!

Had a lovely family day today so assume that I'll be at MrJ's head with a sharp knife later on today. Wink. So true what you said before wil about not wanting the men around as they mess everything up. But today for once he actually obeyed instructions for leaving the house and I didn't get stressed out.

DD quite happy to hardly feed at all - screams when I offer the breast in fact. Just me that's worried about mastitis etc and feeling uncomfortable.

RPopz · 23/02/2015 19:10

Not a lot tbh haha! Its quite relaxed as the babies are still young so a lot of time is just feeding and soothing etc. But it's a bit of singing, gentle movement for mum and baby and baby massage at the end. Plus tea and cake! What's not to love Smile

willywallace · 23/02/2015 19:14

You should adjust in a few days Juni. She must just be a really efficient feeder. I didn't feed from one breast until 11.30 this morning and it didn't even hurt. So weird. Last time round I would have been dying.

Wee one has slept all day again. Hoping it's just in an effort to get rid of this bug.

Minion · 23/02/2015 19:26

Hi all. Thankful we saw a gp whose kids had had reflux too, so knew what was what.
She's put her on a reflux milk (on prescription :cha ching) but the chemist won't have it till tomorrow, so we shall see how tonight goes.

Fab news zyla! One of the only times people champion weight gain sadly. Do glad it's getting better and you're getting the support you need.

I've just fed her and she had her whole bottle. what a bloody relief!

FurryScoob · 23/02/2015 20:03

Great news on the weight gain zyla

Hope microwil feels better when she wakes up wil

Hope the new milk helps min & you can both start sleeping at night.

DD's had her injections, screamed less than last time. She's just had a mahoosive 5 hour nap & weed so much my legs wet. DP's come home with a giggling bee to cheer her up! Smile

cookielove · 23/02/2015 20:16

rpopz I have a fissure (grrr) still painful ever so often and its been 6 months probably should go to the Dr. I almost hijacked E's last appointment but the Dr was this really old jittery man and I thought I'd rather I didn't get my arse out for him!

zyla yay for weight gain :)

min hope the new formula does the trick!

Geez I can't wait to move the neighbours are so freaking loud! E had crap naps today so went down at 7.10 up by 7.40! He is back to sleep for now soon to be in his bed fx.

furry I hated the injections :(

This boy is physic he knows when I think about putting him in bed cause he stirs on me :(

Nessalina · 23/02/2015 20:18

Glad to hear good progress all round! Prescription milk'll save you a bomb Min! Grin
Hope MicroWil is feeling ok now?
Injections always conk J out too Furry, apparently its a good indicator of how they'll tackle illness in early life - cry about it or sleep through it!
Zyla - well done you, that's fab Smile Makes you feel Sooo much better when you know they're getting enough of the good stuff!
I think I've buggered up with J tonite, my mums over and with her playing with him, I've ended up with tea going in late, so whilst it was cooking I popped him in his grobag, and put him in his bouncy chair whilst we ate. He only fell fast asleep! Transferred him to bed, but he last fed at 6pm, so no bedtime boob, and now I've no idea what time he'll be up in the night Confused My money's on 11pm...

JuniDD · 23/02/2015 20:31

Eek ness, get yourself into bed! DD just went down at 8pm as she "used to" so hoping for half one for the first feed. If the boobs don't wake me first of course. stupid growth spurts feedathons that are not sustained!

willywallace · 23/02/2015 21:02

11 would be ok Ness no?

I'm going to try to get some kip before the nightshift. Think she's coughing less than before. See you all in a few hours Wink

Nessalina · 23/02/2015 21:15

11 is ok, it's when the next feed is after that, and whether or not he goes back down after it Shock
My lovely mother has just given me a fab back massage, but it seems to have triggered my let down - when I sat up I had a milk stain the size of a dinner plate on my left boob Grin Had taken my bra off like a fool!!

Minion · 23/02/2015 22:19

Hahahahahahahhahahaha Ness! That made me chortle. Sorry tho.

Well here goes. She's on bedtime bottle. Hopefully she'll be OK. She's k just slept next to me for 2 hours, and not made a move. If the shit hits the fan again then I'll be seeing you ladies at the witching hour.
First one to arrive get the gin and jaffas in.

willywallace · 23/02/2015 23:21

I've drunk all the gin, sorry. Got no sleep and the nightshift started early. She's showing no signs of sleep. This is one of those nights I end up crying at 2am.

She also will only take a bottle from me. Which is frankly no good to anyone.

Ness, never take your bra off. Mine comes off to shower, that's it.

JuniDD · 24/02/2015 00:48

Here I am for feed #1. Filthy rainy night out there. Anyone else dealing with night sweats? This may be a three-pj night...yuck

JuniDD · 24/02/2015 00:49

aw you can do it wil. xx
