Eek that all spuds scary!

My emcs was 2 weeks ago today and it's healed really well, haven't had any paracetamol even for a few days. I rang car insurers earlier, they said no restrictions as long as doc says I'm ok. I'm seeing gp on tues so hope I can get her to say I'm ok, I really think I am and want car back!

ZylaB · 22/02/2015 22:06

Sounds, not spuds!

FurryScoob · 22/02/2015 23:16

Oh no popz your poor bum. I just googled because I wasn't sure what they were, bad idea!

DD's been asleep all evening & has just woken up in time for bed. Sad

willywallace · 23/02/2015 00:37

Oh no Furry! This one is the Queen of bedtime wakening. Sleeps 8.30-12 then BOOM! Wide awake. She seems quite sleepy again now though I can't get her wind up. Do you get a sleep during the evening when she's down? That sleep saves me from dying the next day.

Ouch Popz. My issue feels more like a cut so wondering if I may have the same. Am going to get doc to check at six week check - which will be embarrassing as keep having to see her about BabyWil. She's younger than me which somehow makes it seem worse.

Minion · 23/02/2015 01:33

Good morning!
Night?
I'm not sure.
Am I early? I'll set up the room and put out vol au vents.
She started withing as soon as she was put down list nnight. Tuned it out fit a while but gave in at 1, she was wide awake then.
My strategy is, if she's awake, stick a bottle in her gob.
Not entirely sure how much more we can take.
Running on empty here.

willywallace · 23/02/2015 01:34

Aargh 45 minutes and then up because of this bloody cough.

willywallace · 23/02/2015 01:37

Yeah I always want to leave them until they make it clear they want up but I can't tune it out so all I can think is faster I get her up, faster she's back to sleep. Ooh haven't had a vol-au-vent in years.

ZylaB · 23/02/2015 01:42

Am here too. Hoping I can soon leave her to tell me when she's hungry instead of this waking her every 3 hours. Need some more weight on though I think.

wil where the hell did vol au vent come from?? Grin

ZylaB · 23/02/2015 01:42

Oh, never, one, I see! Sorry lol

JuniDD · 23/02/2015 02:01

2am on the button! A rather civilised night...so far.

willywallace · 23/02/2015 02:03

Haha thought I was going mad there for a minute. Read back Min's post but am so tired I couldn't see it so was questioning myself.

I don't mind babies wakening because they're hungry. It's when they wake up for no good reason that I get annoyed. Pesky wee things. Argh got to be up in five and a half hours Angry .

Minion · 23/02/2015 02:07

I'm back!
Ten freaking minutes she lasted. Deep old sleep. Popped her down.
She moves into light sleep and wakes up, figures she's not in my arms. Cries. I pick her up.
Bam. Out like a light..
We're now on sofa. Figured she'd sleep here. As will I.

Famous last words.

ZylaB · 23/02/2015 02:17

H won't even settle having a cuddle at the moment. Yay for night times heh

Nessalina · 23/02/2015 03:51

Morning! We're normally up at 2, but J has stretched it to 3 this morning, hoping this doesn't mean he'll be up any earlier than usual... Just experienced a terrifying spider attack whilst feeding Blush Bloody great spider comes creeping around the side of the bednest and I don't have a hand free! Confused It crawled over my emergency vom muslin, so I flicked it across the room super-fast Grin Saw it skitter into a pile of DH's tshirts waiting to be washed, so it goes without saying that I will now not be touching that pile, like, ever.
I've been having cervix falling outy feelings too Juni! Keep meaning to get GP to have a look, but I'm a bit scared... Need to actually start doing pelvic floor exercises again!
Your poor pocket Min Confused £400 is the last thing you need on mat pay!
Popz - I've had an anal fissure, years ago now, they're not much fun, but pretty easy to put right if it needs it, hope yours get sorted! Have you got one of those inflatable ring things to sit on? They're marvellous for sore bums.
Zyla - have you got a weight you're aiming for before you can stop waking her to feed? Great news that you're healing so well from CS!
Right, he's snoozing again for now, I'm going to stop buggering about on the net and go back to sleep too!

willywallace · 23/02/2015 03:53

Am I the only one back up? Damn this cold, can't even get a two hour block.

willywallace · 23/02/2015 03:54

Ah x-post Ness. That spider story is terrifying.

ZylaB · 23/02/2015 05:37

Was up at 3.30 wil now 5.30, by the time she's settled again it's hardly worth trying to sleep.

juni I don't know, I'll ask midwife today about weight :)

Nessalina · 23/02/2015 07:46

Well he went til his usual time after all - he's currently waking up at 7:20 on the dot each day! Grin
It's very cute actually, he doesn't wake up and cry anymore, he lies there sucking his fingers and babbling to himself, and when he notices that my eyes are open he gives me a big grin! Smile I'm not allowed to go pee though - me disappearing brings on a mini-meltdown Grin So a good opportunity to cross my legs and do pelvic floors!

JuniDD · 23/02/2015 08:17

Aw J sounds v cute!

She woke up at five and was feeding on and off for an hour in her sleep
I got so tired I pit her down. Currently waiting for her to wake and wondering if I've got time for tea...gonna try it.

Minion · 23/02/2015 08:25

Oh god. Think Mines entered the terrible 2 months.
Been feeding her every 3 hours for the last 24 hrs. Tried her with a bottle, she drank 40mls. Which means she'll be throwing a Bitch fit on waking. Cried cause she was tired. Cried cause I took her off the husband as he had to get ready for work.
Cried when I tried to put her to sleep.
Passed out.
On me!
And now I'm too afraid to put her down in case she wakes up and kicks off

willywallace · 23/02/2015 08:29

Ness that sounds adorable. I've just woken up - supposed to be up an hour ago! I gave up at ten to five and brought her into bed with me. How come that makes her stop coughing? I reckon she's putting it on Wink .

JuniDD · 23/02/2015 08:35

Ha wil! Mine started coughing at quite young in a really fake way too.

Left boobie is about to pop off my chest....

Minion · 23/02/2015 08:41

Dunno wil, but mine strangely doesn't writhe around when sleeping next to me either....

willywallace · 23/02/2015 08:42

Is she otherwise well Min?

Nessalina · 23/02/2015 08:57

J gets a weird fake sounding cough when he's a bit snotty - I think because they can't blow out the snot it irritate their throat a little bit. And then when he coughs I think he enjoys the sound and does it again!
