Ooh Inge to start a new thread. So if the last one was the one where they don't sleep, then they'll start to sleep now, yes?

I go back to work next Weds Kitty. DS started properly today. Full day today, tomorrow and Friday. I've just done a lovely yoga class and am using the next few days to have lunches, get hair cut etc. miss DS though. Sad

pear definitely want to hear all TTC details! I'm beginning to accept that I will do it all again but not yet!

Walking! Wow. Well done baby!

Haven't done anything about jabs yet. Are you supposed to get a letter or just call your GP to make an appointment? With DS in nursery now I don't think we'll delay MMR. Wouldn't like to think he could pick up any of the three illnesses there. I had measles, mumps and rubella as a child and was very, very ill with measles particularly. Fortunately no lasting effects but don't want to see DS go through it that's for sure. It's a full-on jab but better than the alternative in my view.

So, having a total pfb moment here. DS's nursery send out a newsletter every month about what the different rooms are doing, trips they've taken etc. and what events are coming up at the nursery. Also includes staff changes and a little welcome note to the new children - and DS was left out of the list of new children Sad . Was going to keep it as a little memento is his first year book. I emailed them and they were apologetic, said they got confused and thought he was in the May one but he hadn't started then so he wasn't. She said she'd update the newsletter and resend but feels a bit like the moment has passed and the gesture's a bit hollow.

I know, I know TOTAL pfb thing and not a problem but it made me sad.

Have to say, am happy with how he's being looked after in the nursery itself but their administration is shocking. I was given a whole load of forms to fill in yesterday that a) were full of duplicate questions that I'd already filled in on another set of forms and b) if they weren't duplicates were full of vital permissions and info that they really shouldn't be gathering 3 weeks into him already being there!

Lor you will get a letter, we got ours only a few days ago and kitten is 1 so I'd say you'll get it in the next few weeks!
Wow pear size 4 Shock we've got some pre walkers for kitten, I hoped to go straight into tigers but hers were a 3 and kittens are a dinky 2, that's with her over the 95 percentile!! ,tiger was smaller but with bigger feet! Maybe that's what's keeping her from walking? Not enough surface area for size Grin well done m very impressive going for 11 months
I'm so excited for kitten to do it, I can still remember the sheer joy seeing tiger do it for the first time Smile
How do you feal about the hearing frus? Was he distracted? I know it'd be hard to get kitten to concentrate but you must be so desperate for an all clear!
Don't know what's happened to my girls but they have become sleep obsessed, we went to the pictures last night so had kitten asleep early by 7 and she woke up this morning at 8:30!!Shock Please don't let her be comming down with something

Just read your thread frus. You've done so well being really strong but it definitely sounds like you've done the right thing. It'll be hard on you and hard on your dcs but you know you'll be happier on your own and you deserve better. Have some morning Brew and Cake

Frus Hmm but Smile that you're holding up. Are you in shock? I would pour you a glass of wine if I was your neighbour! How's your sleeping and eating? Don't forget to eat something even if it's just a slice of bread x

peardrop2 · 30/05/2014 22:52

So the new pair of leather bar (Velcro strap) shoes arrived in the post today. Apparently even size 4 doesn't fit Shock Bpears chubby little feet were spilling over and he demanded they came off straight away Smile So, tomorrow morning we're heading to a proper shoe shop. I called them and they said they sell smart leather pre walkers that should do the trick so we will see!

They're so good at picking up on emotions aren't they! I've noticed bpear isn't fond of people that I am not fond of.

peardrop2 · 31/05/2014 00:24

Frus it sounds like you're holding the fort well and I'm sure having the children naturally keeps you going. Don't forget to keep looking after yourself Brew

peardrop2 · 31/05/2014 07:39

Why can't bpear sleep later then 6am!!!!! Zzzzzzzzzzzz

Hah hah I don't think he's that clever.!

Very annoying time at shoe shop. All the styles were Velcro straps which I dislike. However, the lady knew her stuff and she is right to say that bpear is not ready for leather shoes yet but his feet are too big for most pre walkers. I've ended up getting a pair of navy sort of looking like trainers but slightly smarter pre walkers that are very flexible and soft. Not really the look I was going for and they may look weird with outfit. They will be useful when we're outside though as he does like standing now and sometimes I just want to put him down but feel it's too cold for his feet. I guess we're at that in between stage!
