Ooh Inge to start a new thread. So if the last one was the one where they don't sleep, then they'll start to sleep now, yes?

I go back to work next Weds Kitty. DS started properly today. Full day today, tomorrow and Friday. I've just done a lovely yoga class and am using the next few days to have lunches, get hair cut etc. miss DS though. Sad

pear definitely want to hear all TTC details! I'm beginning to accept that I will do it all again but not yet!

What happened with nappy gate pear?? We use active fit in the day but they look to thin to me too hold a lot? We use the baby dry at night but we've never had a leak, have you tried a size up? What size is he wearing? I know people who have found a bigger size to help a lot

Welcome to the man flu club frus It f'ing sucks being in this club btw. STILL sick. Now DH is getting stroppy with me saying that I'm being "ratty". FFS, it's been a week and I don't feel any better than I did the nights that I had the crazy fevers. It's just like unending. I cried b/c I felt so shite this morning and DH was mad at me for not being bright-eyed and bushy-tailed at the prospect of being at home alone with the chilblains children and having a mountain of laundry to do. I hope you feel better quickly Frus and that this club can be cancelled. Sad

M is still in nappy size 3. She's such a little bity thing still. We haven't really had any problems, but then again they are probably different nappies full of horrible chemicals over here.

peardrop2 · 05/12/2014 19:21

Awwww bring Hmm I hope you have a treat for tonight Wink Mmmmmm one of those amazingly huge cookies would suit me right now Biscuit

Kitty ~ He's in size 5+ baby dry. I've brought size 5+ active and I've tried it out tonight. Firstly, they're like paper thin and secondly it's a lot bigger!! Not the most encouraging experiment!

We had an incredibly testing day today. Bpear isn't sleeping or napping as long as he has in the past few weeks so he's just been throwing himself around like a pinball...best way to describe my day. Battling with a broken pinball machine Grin

peardrop2 · 05/12/2014 19:23

Frus ~ sorry you have man flu too Biscuit

AGnu · 05/12/2014 20:25

5+ pear? That sounds quite large for this age from my experience. Runt's in 4 & Calf's in 5+! Daft question - Could it be leaking because it's too big?

Hope everyone feels better soon... Don't go coughing your germs around the bus though... The rest of us don't want to catch it! Wink

Aww frus we definitely have the same bug from across the ocean. It's miserable. I hope yours clears quickly! Feel better, my friend. Ha at chores. It feels like kids=chores right now as well. Love them, but oh my gosh, it's been a long day. And in other news, M has the runs. Fantabulous. Xmas Hmm

kittykatsforever · 05/12/2014 22:59

Frus huggies don't make nappies over here now, don't know about elsewhere, I love their wipes but don't share your love of their nappies, ever single one I had leaked, litterally everyone!
Pear 5+ is ample size, might it be too big? Like Agnu said, we never went beyond a 4+ with kitten and she was 2 when we she stoped using them, I have for so e bigger ones with kitten that I've used with no problems but 4+ seems a good size for her

kittykatsforever · 05/12/2014 23:00

Sorry to hear your so poorly bring, it sounds terrible! Do you think your severe colds / flu are climate temp related!

peardrop2 · 05/12/2014 23:22

Umm. Bpear has been in size 5+ for a while. He's tall like his daddy. I think the active fit ones are bigger though. The 5+ dry are not leaking, they're just mega full and heavy by the morning so I guess they're leaking in a way but I see that more as overflow.

In more exciting news I currently have my legs dangling in the air Wink

AGnu · 05/12/2014 23:41

Lucky you pear the legs, not the soggy nappies! I'm still waiting for my DH to come home! He's been at work since before 8... On his way now, Pizza Hut delivered early so I've put it in the oven to keep warm. & burnt my tongue surreptitiously eating a wedge as I put them in! Blush
Monday is absolutely the last day he's got on this project so hopefully he'll be working slightly more reasonable hours after that. I wouldn't mind so much if he was actually getting paid for all these extra hours! It's utterly ridiculous that people are expected to work such long hours without any extra money! I can understand the odd hour here & there but these last few weeks have been ridiculous! Sad

peardrop2 · 05/12/2014 23:47

Hah hah Agnu...I'm quite Envy of Pizza Hut!

peardrop2 · 05/12/2014 23:48

Btw Agnu I feel like we're becoming the late night bus rebels!! Not a good thing Blush

AGnu · 06/12/2014 00:53

Let's have a rave pear! Am just off to bed now in a minute!

peardrop2 · 06/12/2014 04:07

Who is the idiot who designed active fit nappies?!?! Agggghhhhhhh! Bpear woke up at 2am crying with a bulging nappy and we're still trying to settle him back to sleep at 4am. DH is having to deal with him because he won't go with me. He thinks DH will cave in and put the TV on Hmm at least I get to go back to bed Wink

bringonthetrumpets · 06/12/2014 04:45

LOL at the legs! Very sucky at babe waking up though!

DH is currently snoring his brains out in our bed after having some wine bastard and I've recorded his snoring, downloaded an app and am currently re-recording the snoring onto his phone so that his snoring will be his new ringtone. Mwahahahah! I can't wait for him to find out. Grin

kittykatsforever · 06/12/2014 08:42

Bring that hilarious! Something tells me he won't see the funny side though Wink
Pear aslong as the nappys arnt leaking full is fine, I've pulled them off mine before looking like they might explode lol I do think baby dry are the best on the market though and I've tried a lot of brands lol
So envious of the legs in the air, I want another baby, how can it happen by accident?!? Wink

peardrop2 · 06/12/2014 08:44

HahHAh bring Grin let us know his reaction Wink

Yes! Food shop yesterday morning followed by a local school's Christmas fair, made about a million tiny little loops of icing in the afternoon & in the evening sewed a whole load of tinsel & some jingly bells to a dyed muslin & then sewed that onto one of Calf's t-shirts for his wise man outfit. Then today I had church followed by more food shopping to get things I'd forgotten about yesterday, then a Christmas meal with one of the groups from church & now I'm sitting down for half a second before I get on with chopping frozen sponge into 2" squares & coating it with butter icing. I have 45 minutes to get that done before we're off to a local farm for a nativity re-enactment & then I get to cover the aforementioned cakes with fondant & top with the aforementioned icing loops arranged to look like a bow. Tomorrow morning is toddler group Christmas party & then I can collapse in a heap for a whole 5 minutes before I have to start making a Snoopy themed gingerbread house for my parents' anniversary & prepping for my DSis' visit next week!

Is it bad that I can't wait until the 19th when my DSis goes home so I can just blob in my PJs all day long? Blush

Hee hee! I remember spending hours with my legs in the air. No need for that shenanigans this time, I don't even know when I conceived! We were wanting another baby, we just assumed it would take ages like last time.

Thankyou all for the updates, it sounds like you all have lovely, busy little people. Just to contribute to nappygate, we use a mixture of fancy cloth ones in the day and at night either Pampers size 4 (active fit I think, I don't pay much attention as we don't have to pay for nappies) or Aldi if we've not been to Proctor and Gamble lately.

This pregnancy is completely unlike Nora. I've not been as quesy and I haven't turned veggie yet. I am ridiculously tired, I keep plonking N in front of CBeebies and letting Abney and Teal babysit her.

Nice being back!
