Oh and Junpier does your DS like crayoning at all? If so could you get him to do lots of patterns / pictures and make a fathers day card?

Our thread is nearly full. We will need a new title soon!

Pouring rain all day so we made a den indoors and baked some fairy cakes. Dan perked up by mid afternoon after a very long nap and was tearing about the kitchen by teatime.

lolli poor ds1 and dd, asthma is horrible. Hope they are feeling a bit better by now.

Juniper, glad dan is better
Asthma IS horrible, DS has had 23 hospital admissions, he is only 3 Sad
He is on lots of meds and it's more under control now
I panicked a bit with DD this afternoon she sounded really wheezy so got her in at the docs, she has a chest infection and ear infection, started antibiotics now, think it will be a long night ahead!

23? That puts my mild asthma which I forget to order inhalers for into place. Sounds like dd has hit the jackpot there. Fingers crossed she sleeps ok tonight.

Ds1 spent half last night in our bed after coming running in ar 3.38am shrieking 'a bee! A bee!' When we asked him where it was he said 'in the other house' Confused.

Molly has just discovered walking backwards. And spinning round in a circle until she's so dizzy she falls over. And frowning on command. This age is fun isn't it? Sorry about the poorly ones-hope sunny days help. 2nd bday party to go to this afternoon -kids have much better social life than me! Hmm

No walking backwards yet but he goes in circles as of yesterday he now "spins" on demand... also does the routine for most of his favourite songs . I love it. Got more new shoes today hes now a 5.5 massive chunky feet so we dont get much choice. But we went to a new cool place id heard of, he cried through the whole thing :(

Hes my favouritest dude in the whole world today despite shitting on the carpet and being a moany sod since dinner time.

It is a lovely age isn't it?!

Ivy does a sort of comedy walk to people when she wants to play and has us all in stitches just walking. She has spent most of today wearing a tub we use for puzzles on her head until she dropped it and realised it was a perfectly Ivy sized seat and sat on it! Grin

Hello All

Hope all poorly toddlers are on the mend / better.

Been MIA again, DD1 had her op last week (tonsil/adenoids and grommets), all went well and I managed to hold it together for the GA and then in typical form fainted in the recovery room BlushBlushBlush

Bless DD1 she was so good

DD2 is just a mini mayhem, path of destruction is left wherever she wanders...

Hope everyone is enjoying the Bank Holiday

We finally have sunshine here after 2 days of rain

DP and I are sitting in the IKEA car park waiting for LO to wake up Grin

Anyone else have a toddler who just doesn't want to go to bed? Bedtimes have become a nightmare here, I dread them.

meringue where are you? Took dc topark earlier in a monsoon (possible exageration)! Wasn't raining when we started getting ready to go out and after all tge effort to get ready i refused to abandon a trip out so we all got wet :)

oohquack she sort of sticks her arms out behind her, bends her legs and pushes her neck forwards then 'scuttles'. Today she keeps stealing dd1 trainers and clumping about the place in them. I've got a right one here i think!

lolli hope dd1 recovering well.

Shes quite good at bedtime but its a bit of a military operation here!

meringue I've lost count of the number of hours I've spent in the car waiting for DS to wake up! I have a book in the glove box now so I don't get caught out.

Lost glad your DD is OK. Hope you didn't hurt yourself fainting!

DS has finally learned another word: Uh Oh. Very handy when his shoe falls off as he inevitably cries "uh oh!" so I can find it.

Had a fab weekend visiting my SIL. They have a massive second hand toy shop near them so we picked up a Slide, a Wooden Trike, and a Toot Toot car for the princely sum of £29. Bargain!

My word he's clearly testing out how to get his own Way. Plus he's a bolter :( took him to a sausage and cider festival he took off trying to steal everyones footballs... cue me chasing like a real mum. Why cant he just be allowed to join in anyones game though? :(

lost well done for getting through it, sorry you fainted bless you. How's DD now?

juniper I think that kind of thing is expected in pizza hut Grin

ohquack E chases balls too and nobody ever lets her play either. But people often let her on the seesaw or roundabout and go slowly, which is quite cute.

We're in Yorkshire, Apples. This weather better improve soon, we're getting married a week on Saturday! Grin

Cupcakes it was planned this time, I had my Kindle and my credit card and did a bit of online shopping Grin

Lora I love the sound of a sausage and cider festival. We went to the Great British Food Festival on Saturday but it was a bit of a letdown sadly.

Hope DD gets better soon, Lolli.

Today LO did a sandy poo. We don't even have a sandpit so not sure where that came from Confused. It wouldn't come off with babywipes so I had to do like the seaside and rub his legs with a dry towel Hmm.

lolli I am just outside of bath! What a shame we are going to Monmouth for the weekend. What time will you get here? There is a fab aquarium in bristol, only about 20 minutes by train. If you pm exactly where you're staying I can make more specific suggestions.
