Fourlegs is that your garden? Envy

Salt poor floss hope she is feeling better now and you have had a few Wine must have been terrifying

DDs high chair has broke, I'm think I'm going to replace with a booster seat and table instead of buying another high chair

OohQuack · 06/05/2014 19:35

Ooh lolli ive seen some fab table chair ensembles that work as a high chair when stuck together, I cant justify one though because ours isnt broke, it almost looks like a dinosaur

fourlegstwolegs · 06/05/2014 20:31

So many cute toddlers! I can't say babies any more :(
lollipoppi yes it is. I don't think Felix realises how lucky he is to have space to run about in.

Lostbobbles · 06/05/2014 21:27

Hi All

Hope you all enjoyed the long weekend.

We had child free night Saturday Grin but then I came down with stomach bug, so that was rubbish Hmm.

Went to butterfly farm on Monday, won't be going again, just about managed to control the urge to run out screaming, but defo not good with things flying about my head. I am a complete freak where wasps are concerned

Must get on laptop to see the latest pics.

Salt - hope Floss is on the mend. Must of been terrifying, my middle nephew suffered from febrile convulsions and something I hope to god I never have to witness again.

DH back to working away a few days each week. First night and DD1 has only just find to sleep Angry.

DD2 is really coming along with her speech. She said 'bye bye' and then what sounded like 'see you soon' to a lady in the dr's today. Grin. Needs to chill out with the temper though, major madam syndrome going on!

DD1 is having op in couple of weeks, dreading the GA Hmm

lollipoppi · 06/05/2014 21:29

Ohhquack where have your seen it? Do you have a link?

Fourlegs that's amazing he will have so much fun in that garden

lollipoppi · 06/05/2014 21:31

X post lost, hope your dd1 is ok?

DD is also having major tantrums at the mo

How's the no smoking going?

Lostbobbles · 07/05/2014 03:55

Surprise surprise DH away and DD1 has sickness bug, just spent last hour bathing, cleaning ..... total rankness, why can they never make the toilet

Lolli - boo on tantrum front, I'm sure DD2 is going to be one of 'those' supermarket horrors Confused

Four legs - defo going on laptop tomorrow to check out your back field

CreepyCrawly · 07/05/2014 08:42

Oh dear, hope everyone recovers from sickness bugs!

lost, I hate butterfly farms. I'm a shaking wreck when I'm there, and then there's the whole caterpillar thing. My brother is petrified of butterflies, it's quite funny seeing a 6'+ man shrieking in fear.

glorious lovely isn't it? My grandmother made it, I'm trying to get as much wear out of it as possible :D

No tantrums here luckily, she's really chilled out and goes with flow (which really annoys my sis and BIL who have three terrors :D). Mum says I was the same as a baby but then I became a horrid teenager so swings and roundabouts!

Quite an essay there!

OohQuack · 07/05/2014 14:46

I got a leaflet from a baby show it www.caretero.pl has them. Search google images for primus 2w1 it looks so cool in green.

JuniperTisane · 07/05/2014 17:16

Polish? Where are you Lora? It looks very cool though!

lollipoppi · 07/05/2014 17:32

Wow they do look good! Thank you

DD seems to have picked up quite a few words over the past couple of weeks, we have duck, quack quack, birdie, shoooo (for shoes) and my personal fave, tanchoo (thank you) when she passes me something Smile

OohQuack · 07/05/2014 17:52

Leicester :-D im tempted by them but I think my next spend will be an extended rear facing seat.

Dexter has informed me that everything is a duck today, monster on his t-shirt, pigeons and apparently ducks are all ducks.

Can anyones nod yet? I dont know when tthey should figure it out!

Also when he's angry he's started slapping me then slapping his head!?! Not sure where hes got this from

lollipoppi · 07/05/2014 18:28

Ooohh lora DD does exactly the same with the slapping! She slaps me but them covers her eyes and makes an ahhhhh kind of noise, like she knows she's not allowed to do it!

JuniperTisane · 07/05/2014 18:34

Hehe Dan covers his eyes when he realises he's about to get told off Grin

TooManyBubbas · 07/05/2014 19:34

Ivy just runs away when she realises shes going to get told off :)

Just bathed Ivy, oh the screaming! She refused to get in and then kept trying to vault back out. Poor thing was shaking and crying. It was horrible. None of the others were upset by baths and Ivy used to like them. Can't figure it out although the fact she only has 2 a week might be a factor

JuniperTisane · 07/05/2014 19:38

Both my babies hated for a few months then got better at them and now if I stick both of them in the bath together its armageddon in the bathroom. They only have 3 a week due to DS1s eczema. Could one of the older children share a bath with her?

JuniperTisane · 07/05/2014 19:40

*Armageddon because they pour water over each other, slide, splash as hard as possible and make so much noise my ears bleed...

TooManyBubbas · 07/05/2014 19:53

We tried her with dd1 but dp had to deal with an escaping Ivy. Maybe hopefully its just a phase. She seems almost scared. Frustrating as she used to have a lovely time.

Ds1 &2 used to do all that. The mess, the noise! They mostlt just run through the shower now though

mrsbug · 07/05/2014 20:15

Dd loves the bath, as soon as she finishes dinner she starts signing duck meaning she wants her bath (with her bath ducks). Can't really offer any tips as she has always liked it - we have lots of toys and special bath songs. She went through a phase of hating me washing her face but now we have a game where the flannel hides under the water and then jumps out at her and washes her face, which she finds hilarious.

I'm feeling quite sad today as dd has been refusing boob since last Friday and I'm now starting to accept that her breastfeeding days are over Sad

fourlegstwolegs · 07/05/2014 20:44

Lora I have an extended rear facing seat. It's great.

I don't have any words! Very jealous of talking babies! Just mumbles and nonsense "words" here.

Mrsbug I know how you feel. I feel a little sad too today as it sort of felt right to drop the night time booby feed. Just mornings now....

meringue33 · 07/05/2014 20:51

Aw Ellen looks like she's loving the sandpit! Maybe we should get one. LO is obsessed with eating stones in the garden at the moment, which is a bit annoying. (Not actually swallowing them, obvs!!)

No words yet here though constant chatter!

He loves the bath except if he's got a bit of nappy rash, then it makes him cry :(

Now struggling to remember who is who on this thread!

mrsbug · 07/05/2014 20:53

Lora we have a rear facing seat too. I got a britax two way elite, mostly because it was the only one which would fit in my car!

Four legs we have gone from two feeds a day to none, I think I was expecting to drop one feed first. I will miss our morning and evening cuddles.

mrsbug · 07/05/2014 20:56

We have constant babble with the odd recognisable word thrown in. She really sounds like she is telling us all about her day even though the words are mostly nonsense!

mrsbug · 07/05/2014 20:57

I want a sandpit but the local cats are already convinced mygarden garden is their toilet...

TooManyBubbas · 07/05/2014 21:03

Ivy babbles a lot, very sing-songy not a lot of words though!

mrsbug its sad to say goodbye to it isn't it? Its been a month since we stopped bf and i miss those quiet moments.

Am thinking i might try to give Ivy more regular baths?Older dc used to have 1 every night but have been very lazy with Ivy, some weeks shes lucky to get 1 bath Blush
