Cejay happy birthday to Sophie! Hope you're having a nice day with lots of Cake.

Just home from lunch with Glorious. Daniel and Ellen had a lovely chat at each other while they took it in turns to throw everything off the table as we ate our pizza Grin. Daniel was not cooperative at all when I tried to put Glorious's wrap on my back so we gave up and went for a wander instead.

Happy Flowers You can come and rant to us anytime.

Pascha sounds like you and glorious had a great day!

We're in teething hell here! DP is on an emergency shop run for calpol!

happy what an insensitive midwife. I think sometimes they forget that many people are very much emotionally invested early on in pregnancy and look at it purely from a medical perspective. I know I'd have been in bits if it was me. Have you got a nice relaxing weekend planned?

Happy birthday Sophie Cake

We had a great meet up, you should all find a meet up buddy (perhaps special dispensation for angielka until she visits the UK)! Daniel and Ellen entertained each other beautifully and then slept at the same time so we could eat more Cake Grin I did fail to help with back carries though, sorry about that!

Thanks for the birthday wishes. Sophie had a lovely day yesterday - she had her swimming lesson in the morning and 2 friends round for birthday cake in the afternoon . And today she is wide awake at 5.30! So the excitement must have been too much! Or maybe she heard us talk about visiting a farm today,

I'm quite sad that's she's 1 already; It's been the fastest year of my life!

Happy Birthday for yesterday Sophie, glad you had a lovely day and enjoy the farm. what does the cow say....Wink

I'm off to try and find dresses for my DD1 as she has a better social life than us! not an enjoyable task as the cut needs to be right to suit her

Glad you had a good time glorious and pascha! Glorious I hope the ibuprofen did its job and you all got some sleep Flowers

Happy belated birthday Sophie!

It's my birthday today! :) Dd gave me a bday treat of waking up at 3am for 2 hours - nice. She's full of snot and grumbling the poor lamb. At least it's a Saturday! Going to have my hair cut this morning then having pub lunch followed by a mystery night out with dp :)

Have a good weekend all

Happy birthday tugs! Ohhhh that sounds nice, hope you have a great night!

My friends are coming round today for tea and cake to celebrate Darcie's birthday, there will be more kids than adults and house will be trashed!

Happy Birthday tugs!!

Was tutoring this morning but the rest of the weekend is very chilled. Might be out tonight with a couple of friends but they're at the other end of town so I either drive and don't drink (which defeats the purpose Wink) or I could walk for an hour (which will completely knacker me) or I have to get taxis... Will decide later. Wouldn't have given it a second thought a few years ago and since I haven't been hungover in 2yrs, I'm not really looking forward to that possibility!!

What's everyone else got planned?!

Happy birthday Tugs have a good day. Happy You must get a taxi home, of course. I'm very jealous, my day today consists of rugbytots this morning for DS1, now I'm making fish pie and some baking. DH is at work all day so not much else planned today.

Happy birthday Sophie and Tugs!

DS took his first steps yesterday and now there's no stopping him! It all seems to have clicked and his toddling about all over the place. I suppose I'm going to have to bite the bullet and take him shoe shopping soon! Any tips?

Offered him some cows milk today for the first time and he guzzled it down. Can't say I'm surprised, the child is a gannet!

Happy birthday Sophie and Tugs! Which baby's birthday is next?

happy hope you're doing ok.

Hope everyone's having a nice weekend. I'm struggling to wash X's hair now as she cries when I lie her back in the bath, does anyone have any tips?

Great on the walking cupcakes! And I'd also be interested in shoe shopping tips - where and how?!

Baldy baby works for me birdies Grin. No shampoo needed here.

Report
mrsbug · 25/01/2014 23:18

birdies I let dd sit up in the bath and just pour a cup of water over her head to wet her hair. She doesn't seem bothered by it. She screams like she is being tortured if she has to lie on her back.

I've also started using pull up nappies, so I can do nappy changes standing up. Anything for a quiet life Smile
