Yip, I only have wee ones on thurs and fri this week, no one the week after. Yeah will be the PRM. I am sure I will get a reassurance scan, the consultant said I would. I'm off to bed now. Thanks for all the good wishes ladies, keep the fingers crossed.

Ledkr · 06/04/2014 21:02

I had full on period pain with both girls, convinced I'd mc, I took endless tests!
Yes granny I'm rather worried. She's been head hunted for modelling 3 times now.
Ballet is her passion so I hope that carries on.
She's been asked out by a couple of boys but she described them as "thick chavs" Blush but dh and I are happy with that.
I was a pretty girl but also had a lovely aloof manner which I hope she inherits ha ha.
Anyway blizy we will require hourly updates!

blizy · 06/04/2014 21:02

Reastie, I told him over the phone, dh is away the weekend. There were loads tears and blubbering though.

Aw...that reaction of your DH is soo lovely!

Cool, keep us posted mrs...is a shame SIL is at Wishaw & not PRM...we have a family friend who had a similar experience to you...she helped them through it all & then delivered their next baby... She's really good at her job & goes out of her way to look after those who have had traumatic experiences!

Anyway, away & rest...& keep us all posted!! xxx

Grannyapple · 06/04/2014 21:11

Oh yes & she's really normal & down to earth..not like her other brother that you know Wink.

Which reminds me...my nephew is 18 on Wednesday...how did that happen?!

blizy · 06/04/2014 21:12

Two of our friends are midwives at prm, so I will be well looked after.

Grannyapple · 06/04/2014 21:12

Ha ha ledkr love Ella's description of them as thick chavs...that girl has got her head screwed on!

Grannyapple · 06/04/2014 21:13

Hello everyone else! All well here. Excited for new game of thrones tonight, that's about as exciting as it gets Hmm.

RobinSparkles · 06/04/2014 22:14

Hi all!

Hope you don't mind me posting. I noticed the thread in active convos - I didn't even realise that this thread was still going.

I just had to post when I saw Blizy's news! HUGE congratulations to you! Thanks I'm so very happy for you and your lovely DH. I have everything crossed for you.

Lots of love xx

Ledkr · 06/04/2014 22:18

Is it good ponyo ?
I might start it. I'm addicted to house if cards at the moment, it replaced my breaking bad habit!

robin you didn't know we were still going?
How very dare you! Grin

ILovePonyo · 06/04/2014 22:24

Yes ledkr it is REALLY good. I wasn't keen on the first episode, thought it objectified women, bit sexist etc. Then watched it a bit more and realised I was completely wrong and have since geeked out and read all the books too! Haha. Would you believe dp and I still have the entire series of breaking bad to watch. We started when A was born but I was too hormonal and couldn't cope with it Blush

Hi robin!

ILovePonyo · 06/04/2014 22:33

Oh yeah... We are planning on putting our house On the market soon so we can finally try and move to a nicer area before A starts school Hmm Any hints/tips/advice anyone? From which estate agent to choose, to how to make house nice for selling, and what we do and don't need to stress about? Feel pretty clueless Confused

wigglesrock · 06/04/2014 23:02

Clear the house of any unnecessary tat Smile
Use each room so people can get an idea of how to utilise the space - if you have a spare room, put a bed in it or a desk to make it look like a bedroom or a study
Keep any gardens very neat - grass/hedges
Make sure anything pet related is outside when people are viewing
Look at your house with ruthless eyes - you're appealing to other people's tastes.
Concentrate on your bathroom - good towels, fancy dan soap.

wigglesrock · 06/04/2014 23:29

That's obviously for Ponyo not a general edict Smile

americanexpat · 07/04/2014 01:54

boozy - !!!!!!!! Eek, such great news! I hate posting from my phone but had to when I saw your news.

blizy · 07/04/2014 03:34

American, there will be no more boozy for me ha! I hope you are ok?

Emski76 · 07/04/2014 07:16

I have been lurking and boy am I glad! Blizy, such amazing news. I am over the moon happy for you, and yep, am welling up now. I had bleeding at around 5 weeks with both boys, actually thought it was my period with Noah!! Keep calm, relax and aahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!
Love to everyone x

blizy · 07/04/2014 07:20

Thanks emski, that's reassuring. I done another test but the line wasn't as dark as yesterday.

Robin, lovely to hear from you!

I'm phoning the dr at 9am.

Reastie · 07/04/2014 08:39

ponyo the experts on DIY and property are excellent at offering advice on stuff like that. I've read threads where someone puts up piccies and they give really good suggestions on how to layout rooms/what to move/what to put where I love a nosy at other peoples houses

blizy that's so lovely re: your DH.

TheCunkOfPhilomena · 07/04/2014 08:47

Blizy just saw the news and had to come and say a huuuuuge CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Smile Thanks Best news ever!

americanexpat · 07/04/2014 14:13

Bloody autocorrect, that's why I hate posting from my phone! I know a handful of women who got pregnant when they were starting fertility investigations/treatment so it must be not uncommon. I'm really so excited for you and your DH, it's been such a long road for you.

blizy · 07/04/2014 15:59

I think I'm miscarrying, I have bad cramps and still spotting (the loo paper is smeared in pink/red blood when I wipe). I have a doctor appointment on Wednesday. It's just a case of waiting it out now I guess.
I feel ok'ish, it has given me hope that we have conceived and we hope to do so again soon. Poor dh is asking it a lot harder than me. Sad
