Ponyo - sometimes Anna asks for Sofia instead of me! We had a really difficult run with Anna for a few months, basically just boldness Smile. She has really turned a corner in the past few weeks, ever since we came back from holiday, even my mum mentioned it!

PonyoLovesHam · 31/07/2014 23:02

Ah thanks both. Very reassuring. And wise! I think I still have a bit of guilt about A being full time in nursery - i don't regret it, just feel a bit guilty! The same way I feel about her being an only child! - But yeah it's normal isn't it. A lot of her older friends are leaving pre school this month to start proper school in sept and I think that might be part of it too, she idolises some of the bigger ones Smile

Wiggles whilst A has been better recently I hope she turns a corner soon too! We've said it before but all the feb babies do seem "spirited" Wink

Reastie · 01/08/2014 12:01

ponyo just spotted this offer on Brighton sea life centre and thought of you.

WeAreBorg · 02/08/2014 22:40

Hi all.
So please your scans etc were fine bluzy was the NT okay? Very exciting!
ponyo natural history museum was great, we went a few weeks ago because of 'Andy'. At least there won't be school trips at the moment.

Grin at spirited.
Are you lot on Facebook? I went back on today apparently I've not been on it since 2007. I might need to stage some 'spontaneous' smug family photos of us all laughing at the beach in matching boden as this seems to be the thing. Anyone wAnt to be my friend?

WeAreBorg · 02/08/2014 22:43

wiggles yay for sleep. I remember you being very blasé about it all, and wondering how you weren't in a stress like the rest of us. Well me and American anyway. Now totally unbothered by Js crap sleep, happy to ride it out.

WeAreBorg · 02/08/2014 22:50

Meant to ask, have been feeling like N is a bit thick behind recently. I think it's because I'm on mat leave and am back in mum world without the distraction of work, but noticed that the others all seem to be in swimming lessons, riding bikes, writing, drawing etc. and he can't do any of that. He comes back from nursery with his scribbles which I love, but a friend made a bit of a comment about it which bothered me.

wigglesrock · 02/08/2014 23:33

Borg - I wouldn't worry, Anna has a bike that she can ride but chooses not to Smile She occasionally goes swimming but can't swim. Her favourite thing to do at the minute is to fart and blame it on someone else . She likes to scribble about and colour in but she gets a bit bored with it. She's lethal with a pair of scissors.

She's starting nursery school in September, it's very like primary school - P1/reception, and we were told that as long as they can get their coat on and off, know their teachers name, everything else would come to them.

I'll pm you my name and see if you can find me on FB - my profile pick is a one of me & Sofia, it's in black and white - pretentious moi?

WeAreBorg · 02/08/2014 23:41

Go to sleep wiggs! Will look for you once I work out how to do it

WeAreBorg · 02/08/2014 23:56

Think I found you, you'll have a request from a random silhouette

flusteredmumto2 · 03/08/2014 01:03

Helloooo ladies. Found you again. Pregnancy insomnia has its uses.
Blizy hows it going?
Wiggles I don't have you on fb either Shock or you Borg.
I'm in my last week of pregnancy thank goodness! ! I'm 38 weeks and I have had a horrendous pregnancy so I've decided to be sterilised during the csection.

Freya has turned into a right little diva and whinges at everything!!! She is being hard work though sometimes she's an angel and lovely to be around.
We have a house!! We found a lovely cottage in the cotswolds, 10mins away from lee's work, it's a longer commute for me but we're saving money on rent and I'm only at uni for 4 hours a week over 3 days. It's about an hour on the train but I'm going to be doing my driving lessons as soon as I'm okayed by the dr at my 6 week check and once I've passed the commute won't be as bad. So I'll be moving my family in less than a month whilst recovering from a csec (I am mad!).
I hope everyone else is ok and keep your eyes peeled soon on fb for baby pics as I'm sure there will be some very soon.

Reastie · 03/08/2014 06:59

flustered your new place sounds lovely, I love the Cotswolds, and you'll not be too far from Ledkr Grin . I'm looking forward to seeing piccies of babyflustered, just think back to when you were told you had to have a termination and how far you've come. I remember well counting the days down to not being pregnant! Not long now.

Borg I think I've friend requested you, either than or a randomite Confused . Has your profile got no picture? You really must sort that out if that's the case you know Wink . I say try not to worry about N being behind at nursery, they will all get there in the end. Alice does lots of scribbles and then gives us 'the' look when we can't discern what we're looking at.

american meant to say so sorry about the news of your cat, are you OK?

OP posts:
wigglesrock · 03/08/2014 08:16

Flustered - very exciting time coming up, you'll be fine moving. Easier to do it with an immobile baby Smile. I think I know who you are on FB, I'll friend request you.

It's been raining for 3 days solid here now, even I'm getting fed up with Netflix!

Finally getting Livs room decorated tomorrow, have compromised on the wall colour, she was looking black walls with purple curtains, she's getting chocolate milkshake which looks surprising like what I would call beige Wink. She had her purple curtains though.

flusteredmumto2 · 03/08/2014 08:22

Borg freya doesn't write at all and doesn't draw pictures either that I can tell what it is. No bike riding yet or swimming so don't feel bad. He's probably just stronger with other stuff, she has an elephants memory!

I remember the beginning of the year and it was such a horrid place reastie. Its taken a lot to keep babyflustered in till term but I'm relieved its nearly over. I hate being pregnant! We're both excited now about everything even though there will be a lot of adjustment in the next month.

PonyoLovesHam · 03/08/2014 08:29

Morning! Watching my little pony with A Smile After a big nap yesterday she went to bed at 10.30pm, still got up before 7! Pest Wink

Reastie thanks for that, I also have a 241 entry to sea life so I need go work out which is cheapest Smile think we'll be in London on thurs 14th btw...

Borg I like you're positivity about there being no school trips to nat history museum, I'm sure the queue will be huge but I'm sure it will be worth it Smile I wouldn't worry about what the other children are doing. A got a bike for Xmas and cannot ride it, and now she's refusing to try so it was a waste of money Hmm She does random drawings and can't hold a pen properly, and is so stubborn she refuses all offers of help HmmHmm it was a bit mean of your friend to mention it tbh. I'm going to stalk you on Facebook now...

Flustered ooh not long now! Wow it's going to be so busy for you for a while isn't it, good luck with everything.

Wiggles that reassuring about starting school, I'm sure A could manage that Wink

PonyoLovesHam · 03/08/2014 08:37

Oh, we had someone view our house yesterday, it was only one of the workers from A's nursery with her boyfriend! Actually hope they don't buy it, it would be a bit awkward maybe.

PonyoLovesHam · 03/08/2014 12:42

Fgs Borg get some photos on Facebook! The point of being friends on there is to see what we all look like WinkGrin

WeAreBorg · 03/08/2014 20:17

Exciting FB update, I have managed to add some photos from our day out today. I feel very modern, I shall be using a mobile telephone device soon!

flusteredmumto2 · 03/08/2014 22:40

Borg I've sent you a friend request. My profile pic is of a grumpy very pregnant cat.

PonyoLovesHam · 03/08/2014 22:44

Yay I've seen them Borg, well done! now you just have to work out who's who and which mn nickname belongs to which person, it took me a while Blush

Grannyapple · 03/08/2014 22:45

Hi ladies...flustered I can't believe your new bubba will be here soon...feels quick to me but prob not for you! Exciting news on house etc...good luck with the move etc!

borg not sure if it's you or flustered but I've friend requested you on fb..suggested by reastie...surname is smith..

Not much to report here...I'm almost 30 wks & have nothing organised for new baby so gave just ordered some hospital bag essentials on amazon & some baby stuff on gap as they had 25% off...at least I've started then!

WeAreBorg · 03/08/2014 23:46

Thanks for the reassurance about Nate and his failure to pass his Cambridge entrance exam, I feel better now. He doesn't wear coats wiggles he's a propa Geordie like.

Working out who you are on fb is like a less murderous but more fun version of cluedo. I think I know who everyone is now!

EEh with flustered, blizy and granny all expecting it's feeling very antenatal thread on here. Getting broody as Jonah now has teeth and did a proper person poo today not a lovely breast milk yellow splodge. Sob.

americanexpat · 04/08/2014 16:47

Borg - yay! I think I'm the most identifiable on FB considering my demographics (I'm JJ if you haven't figured it out). Also L doesn't write or hold a pen properly but he does have a relatively large vocabulary. I asked him to draw a picture of DH for Father's Day and it looked vaguely person-like when I squinted. As someone said, they all mostly catch up in the end.

reastie - I'm feeling better now, thanks. Thursday and Friday were rough, having to make the decision is the worst part. Sad He developed pneumonia and stopped drinking so it seemed like it was time. We buried him at home and planted some flowers. L keeps saying he misses him and we talk about what a nice cat he was, etc.

blizy · 04/08/2014 18:39

Yay Borg, I see you on FB. J and N are a pair of cuties!
Just catching up a bit, on some patchy wifi in the bar. Holiday has been good but I'm now looking forward to heading home on Friday. My dad has taken another urine infection, I'm a bit worried about it as he was hospitalised with this in April. Don't quite fancy the hospitals here in Bulgaria!

TheCunkOfPhilomena · 04/08/2014 21:14

Hello all!

Just popping on to see how everyone's doing. Really pleased you found me on FB Borg (I'm assuming that's you or I've added a random person!).

Glad your holiday has gone well blizy but sorry to hear about your dad. How are you feeling?

wiggles Good to hear the bottom jokes have started already with Anna Grin

I hope your last week of pg goes well flustered, you really have been through so much!

ponyo I love seeing your pics of A on FB. I can't believe you'll be in Brighton, just along the coast from me next week. Would be great to meet up! Would you be up for that too Reastie (I realise it's a lot further for you).

Nowt much happening here. Ben has started sleeping more which is bloody fantastic. He was waking 2-5 times a night and screaming at me to let him into my bed but now only wakes about twice and just calls me form his room. He's actually being quite good atm but I know now to make the most of these phases as it'll be different next week.

And now I have burnt some of the biscuits I was making so shall have to eat the evidence, such a pity.

WeAreBorg · 04/08/2014 21:41

Grin american yes the being in the states bit did rather betray your secret identity. Yes I feel more relaxed about Nate now, if he was spending his time writing and drawing, there would be no time to spend cultivating his 'snail swimming pool' (yes he has drowned them all).
blizy hope your dad feels better.
cunk pleased Ben is sleeping better. I often 'burn' or 'accidentally break' biscuits and therefore have to eat them so nobody is traumatised.
