S has follow on milk pr I didn't realise that was already half and half. She has the cow and gate follow on so not sure if this is the same or not as what you would get there? That's what I have been mixing with cows milk.

PurplePidjin · 22/11/2013 21:33

R has leather-soled slipper socks, various soft cruisers and proper hard shoes for when we go to the park. Despite not walking independently yet he loves walking the 30-40 yards to the swings, playing then walking home - all while holding tight to an adult finger!

fruitpastilles · 22/11/2013 21:34

Posted too soon then, was going to say, so if that's already half and half I'm probably overloading her.

YellowWellies · 22/11/2013 21:36

PR I agree totally. We're not designed to drink moo cow udder milk and the proteins in it can really fuck with their guts when wee - it's a big step and loads of babies at 12 months won't be ready. And can even mess with the guts of the not so wee like GrandadCrisps. Anyone noticing that sleep has gone to shit after switching to cow's milk might be worth considering follow on milk?

fruitpastilles · 22/11/2013 21:44

Yep chasing shouldn't he just. Angry

ChasingDaisy · 22/11/2013 21:51

Really interesting cows milk chat. O is taking the transition in his stride and I have been quite gung-ho about it. I realise now that I have been very lucky.

In brilliantly shit timing I have now caught Oscar's cold. I shall be a snotty scarface tomorrow Hmm

Passmethecrisps · 22/11/2013 21:56

Usually the maximum dose is 10 mg/kg per day, divided up into 3 doses.

P weighs 6.2 kg
10 mg x 6.2 kg = 62mg per day (maximum)
Dividing this into 3 daily doses makes 20.6 mg per dose
Since Zantac syrup is 15 mg/ 1 mL, 20.6 mg would be 1.3ml per dose

YellowWellies · 22/11/2013 21:59

Woo Ranitidine maths is tricksier than omeprazole maths [!

fruitpastilles · 22/11/2013 21:59

I bet he won't even notice the scratch chasing can it be covered with make up? Shit about the cold though, I swear by lemsip max capsules, mine only ever last a day or 2 with those - which I realise is no good for you for tomorrow, but might make you feel a bit better.

Passmethecrisps · 22/11/2013 21:59

Grin just saw grandadcrisp get a namecheck!

"No, ah cannae think oh onnae allergies or intolerances in the femly"

"Och ah canne take butter or milk cus it gaes me awfae sare guts"

That, ladies and gentlemen is a secondary lactose intolerance resulting from and untreated CMPI.

fruitpastilles · 22/11/2013 22:01

pass I love it when you post the way someone speaks. I just can't help but read it in a Scottish accent in my head.

GTbaby · 22/11/2013 22:01

((Charlee big hugs))

PetiteRaleuse · 22/11/2013 22:04

Oh I was not flamed :o

PetiteRaleuse · 22/11/2013 22:05

So can we agree that follow on isn't the devil's work?

Passmethecrisps · 22/11/2013 22:05

Who would flame the petite? Cow's milk is hard stuff. Cows have 4 tummies!

PetiteRaleuse · 22/11/2013 22:07

Yes they do!!

fruitpastilles · 22/11/2013 22:08

Nope, not in my eyes, S has been on it for 3 months - since I switched from anti reflux milk. I had never heard of there being anything wrong with it.

Elizadoesdolittle · 22/11/2013 22:09

God I love galaxy. My granddad used to buy me a huge bar every xmas. Then when he died my dad used to. When he he died I got none, until one year my dearest mate remembered and bought me one. I was so chuffed she remembered and ate the damn thing too quickly. I love it dipped in tea. I want some now!

charlee I am so sorry for your loss. What an absolutly awful thing for your DP to say to you. hugs.

fruit Your "D"P should be on the bloody sofa, not you!

Looking forward to a nice quiet weekend here. DMIL is doing an early xmas dinner as BIL and his wife are off to India for xmas. Yum yum. What's everyone elses plans?

chasing Where about's are you going for your date? I know it's London but where about's. Are you just pubbing it or going for dinner? I won't come and stalk you I promise Smile I'm sure you'll look bloody lovely cold or no cold.

PetiteRaleuse · 22/11/2013 22:10

Well my theory is fucked then innit :o

ChasingDaisy · 22/11/2013 22:12

Eliza, I don't actually know where I'm going Grin He's meeting me at Euston then showing me some of his favourite places in London. I've told him that it must include Southbank though Smile

PetiteRaleuse · 22/11/2013 22:12

My plans for the wkd are to escape to city or town or country but to escape. We need a break.

YellowWellies · 22/11/2013 22:19

PR were you born in the Year of the Horse? You seem like me, with perennial escape artist tendencies / itchy feet / struggling to find a place to settle/ full of wanderlust! I love it but it's also the bane of my life, ok I've seen a lot of the world but I'm envious of those that settle round the corner from where they were born - for having a certainty in terms of a sense of place. I'm always peering over the next hill, round the next headland, down unknown roads to try to find where I want home to be Confused . DH and I are the littlest hobos we've moved sooooo many times!

Elizadoesdolittle · 22/11/2013 22:26

Sounds very exciting chasing I look forward to hearing all the gory details Grin

TheDetective · 22/11/2013 22:56

I just slung the steriliser waaaayhey!

And I've got regular stock cubes and honey at the ready!

Being 1 will be awesome!

O has finally learned to wave bye bye. FINALLY. He waved at the TV when waybuloo finished. Hmm d'oh! Then he clapped himself. Cheeky bugger!

PetiteRaleuse · 22/11/2013 22:59

I think am rabbit or goat yw.
