Hugs price, that must have been so hard.
Det I wake up f from naps, almost every nap infant. He is allowed 1hour 30 at most in morning, waking no later then 11.15 and 40 mins in the afternoon, up by 3.20. Bed at 7 -7.30ish. If I'm not strict on naps we pay for it at night.

ditsygal · 29/11/2013 13:28

That should have been hugs pr not price, silly predictive text

BigPigLittlePig · 29/11/2013 13:44

Ah I wish I had a baby who had to be woken lol!

PR (hugs) sounds bloody awful. Open a good bottle of Wine tonight and weep xxx

YellowWellies · 29/11/2013 13:50

Ah PR Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad I agree on the vino later.

Have been Hmm for ages at Jonas saying "Doh" for dog when I hardly ever say the word 'dog'. She's always Betsy. Other than when I'm yelling at her to get "DOWN" (my pet peeve is dogs that jump up at people). So yeah Jonas thinks the dog's name is 'Down' Blush Grin .

Christmas market trip postponed as my sister feels unwell. So I'm sat enjoying my freshly cleaned house - I love our cleaner.

ChasingDaisy · 29/11/2013 14:05

Oh and naps wise, I let O have 15-20 mins max at 10am and then up to 2 hours from 1:30, although it is usually around 90mins.

PetiteRaleuse · 29/11/2013 14:21

I'm all cried out. Sat down with a tube of pringles earlier and howled. Have a headache now but I needed to let it out before the girls get back. I feel like I have no tears left.

ChasingDaisy · 29/11/2013 15:03

Fatima I have just been looking at your London thread and I see that Eliza recommended the London Aquarium. I am SO tempted to take O there next week - he would love it, but it is expensive Sad

PetiteRaleuse · 29/11/2013 15:43

What do you think of this coat: www.orchestra.fr/jst-plume-d-hiver/doudoune-irisee-doublee-polaire-ff3802.html?vrtid=ff3802-101

Sophiathesnowfairy · 29/11/2013 16:43

I like it. For you I take it? Grin have you cracked the wine open yet pr?

Grin yw that is funny.

PetiteRaleuse · 29/11/2013 16:49

It's for dd1. Nearly bought it in the shop with her the other day but she refused. So will buy it when she's not there and make her wear it anyway.

PetiteRaleuse · 29/11/2013 16:51

No wine yet. I have two bottles chilling in the fridge. A curry on the hob. Not opening the wine until dh gets back.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 29/11/2013 16:56

That is what I have been thinking but not sure what time he is home. In Dublin today. Hurry hurry hurry.

PetiteRaleuse · 29/11/2013 17:31

Gah. He left early but is stuck in the cross border traffic jams.

Have explained to DD1 that cat has gone to a happy place for very ill cats and that she will stay there. She's 2.8, that's age appropriate enough right? She gets that spiders die, but I couldn't bring myself to explain that cats die. More for me than for her.

YellowWellies · 29/11/2013 17:32

DH is in London and his flight doesn't land until 10.40 so I shall be opening the Wine with you ladies - that counts as not drinking alone right? (Actually my stepmum will be here anyhoo)...

Have sorted the toy box and pleased my inner OCD self - other than I can't find stacking cup number one Hmm which is going to mess with my inner peace Envy .

YellowWellies · 29/11/2013 17:37

PR that's age appropriate and I'd say something similar. Especially if saying the 'd' word may illicit a torrent of tears. As much as you try to explain to them that death is natural and isn't bad - crying through your nose will always make a liar of you Blush . I think 'death' chats can wait til over 3. Hope your DH is home soon. Right time for J's tea and for 'Down' the dog to come and clean the kitchen floor.

Elizadoesdolittle · 29/11/2013 17:44

pr I think that's appropriate. DH explained to DD1 about our next door neighbours cat dying and that was hard enough. she is older than your dd and also although she was close to the cat, it wasn't ours. she is young, plenty of time to find out the harsh reality of death.

chasing yes it is quite expensive. O would be free though right? There is often a 2 for 1 deal if you go by train. if you got another adult to go with you, you could split the cost?

just on train on the way back from lunch. oops! I thought DH would be home by now to take over from kids but he's only just left. At this rate I'll be home in time to jump in a cab to my friend's house. Feeling a bit naughty and tipsy....but it's been a long time since I've seen my old work friends and I've really enjoyed it. I miss them, not the work though! Grin Grin

PetiteRaleuse · 29/11/2013 17:47

Exactly. I'm v pragmatic about death other than pets.

ChasingDaisy · 29/11/2013 17:48

YW we have also lost stacking cup number one!

Eliza, I'm going with Just Friends Guy so if I can get a 2 for 1 it would be affordable. I'll have a look. Have you got any suggestions for a baby/buggy/purse friendly place for lunch en route between Euston and Regent St. Or there abouts?

ChasingDaisy · 29/11/2013 17:52

Oh I've just found 2 for 1 vouchers online. Thanks Eliza Grin

PetiteRaleuse · 29/11/2013 18:07

Thanks for your support today everyone. It means a lot :)

PetiteRaleuse · 29/11/2013 19:01

Woo. Wine o'clock here. Bottoms up.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 29/11/2013 19:03

We have lost stacking cup number 4 (working from the bottom up) and stacking ring number 1 is driving me crazy! It gas to be in there somewhere.

Sounds fine. pr I hope wine o'clock isn't too far away. You could join us and do a yw.

GTbaby · 29/11/2013 19:09

Hope you've been ok in front of kids PR. must be hard.

I went to school. Had a nice time actually bumped into a few ppl who were happy to see me and A, made a change from last visit. Bought a few bits. Some home made jams and xmas decoration to add to FH siblings mini hamper (just sweets and biscuits so far). And a magnet for sister. N mum a Xmas decoration too. Productive.

Just need to customise the stockings I bought for the kids and make a few bows to decorate gifts and we are set :)

PetiteRaleuse · 29/11/2013 19:15

We've lost all but the biggest of two sets of stacking cups. The biggest are too big for the sodding dog to get a proper grip on them.
