Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Kyz clearly L and E were on the same 4am wake up schedule!

flouncymcflouncerson · 29/11/2013 09:33

Too many wake ups and screaming fits to count. Dh took him downstairs at around 5am I think as the bed was like being on a ship on stormy seas. I'm sore and grumpy but at least I can stay in bed due to recovering from surgery. Going to pop ear plugs in and ignore the world for a bit.

Good luck at vet pr

TheDetective · 29/11/2013 09:43

Good idea with the ear plugs Flouncy.

O got the sleep motherfucker memo. Well, on my watch anyway, and I eventually popped a couple of nytol and kept my fingers tightly crossed.

Either way, I heard not one peep til almost 8am. Then he didn't shout to get up til 8.30. Amazing.

Day one of new routine. We have had a beaker of milk with breakfast. Very very successful! He took it without a squeak of discontentment!

He even took the bastarding banana medicine he hates so much, without spitting one single drop out. Shock

I am going to try a 1.30pm nap. Given he was up late. Let him sleep til 3.30 latest. See how that goes down.

Going to baby yoga this morning. I have no real idea what this involves. It was the only suitable baby group I could find at a suitable time! Fingers crossed!

O seems brighter, so should be okay. He's just snotty. He's currently trying to mount the dog. So think he's back to his usual self. Hmm

YellowWellies · 29/11/2013 09:45

Good luck PR and POAS puss Thanks

Only one wake up. Wahoo! I think the higher dose of omeprazole is starting to work.

And on the advice of the paed I tried dairy last night (rather than on a morning as I'd been told before) after he'd gone to bed as it takes 8 hours to get into BM and true enough he seems a bit irritated by something in my milk this morning but not majorly upset which he would be at bedtime. So BF Mums should do dairy trials at night whereas babies should do solids dairy trials in the morning to minimise the impact on sleep. Smile

TheDetective · 29/11/2013 09:45

I'll offer the Brew and matchsticks around then, seeing as I have probably managed the most sleep? Unless some other bugger comes along and takes the crown?! Grin

TheDetective · 29/11/2013 09:46

I had to scratch my head a few times on who exactly was POAS then YW! Seems I'm still a bit dopey from yesterday!

PetiteRaleuse · 29/11/2013 09:50

I have never cried so much in my life. Have come to sit in a nearby car park to get it out of my system as I can't drive yet. At least it was peaceful.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 29/11/2013 09:54

Morning all. Brew for all those with trying nights.

I think we need Nanny McPhee.

Hope vet goes ok pr

det I too wake up O from naps.i am in charge or I like to think I am

We don't really seem to have had any ill effects from last Tuesdays jabs, so let that be a trickle of light for those of you who haven't had them yet.

How do I get rid of the smell of cat wee? DS1s room smells like cat wee, I don't know why as we do not have a cat. Maybe one snuck in. Or, is 't an electrical problem meant to smell like cat wee? Or,

Sophiathesnowfairy · 29/11/2013 09:57

I am still scratching my head about the POAS? Confused

O did 7 till 7 last night, but I didn't sleep properly until DH got in around midnight as I an conscious that he will come in and make me jump.

PetiteRaleuse · 29/11/2013 09:57

Vet was lovely. Said he had been expecting this for a long while and was impressed I had kept going. I asked if he knew anyone who had recently lost a cat and was mad enough to be a possibility and he said he wouldn't wish my little girl on anyone. I feel awful, but I couldn't watch her get worse. He said she looked far worse than last time, examined her etc.

Elizadoesdolittle · 29/11/2013 09:57

I'm still sat in the car park :(

horseylady · 29/11/2013 10:45

Hugs pr responsible thing to do.

No sleep here. Off to gp shortly x

PetiteRaleuse · 29/11/2013 10:47

sophia the references to poas was because my cat used to tell me I was pregnant before testing myself.

PetiteRaleuse · 29/11/2013 11:10

Right.

Need to make myself look human before picking up the kids tonight. If I'd left it longer DD1 would have been old enough to need the rainbow bridge talk - vet pointed that out.

There'll be plenty of time for that when the other cat and the dog fall off their perches, hopefully a long time in the future.

Pikz · 29/11/2013 11:59

Pr hugehugehugs zxxxx

fruitpastilles · 29/11/2013 12:45

Big hugs pr xxxxxxxx

PetiteRaleuse · 29/11/2013 12:57

Thanks all. Am home now. Feels empty. Despite the other cat deciding he no longer needs to stay under the bed and stretching out on the remaining rug. She used to attack him several times a day so he'll be happier now. Going to walk the dog in a while. I need my coat cleaned, her fur is all over it from hugging her so much.

ChasingDaisy · 29/11/2013 13:03

(((PR)))

O is with XP today. Am having a very productive day. Made a fridgeful of party food. Done some Christmas shopping. Eaten a bag of chocolate coins. Am enjoying listening to the radio on full blast. Feeling festive.

GTbaby · 29/11/2013 13:07

Pr hugs x

Off to work in a bit. Been out 3days in a row! Wooohooo

Sophiathesnowfairy · 29/11/2013 13:26
