I would just use a damp facecloth to clean it GT, and try not to disturb the scan if there is one. Don't worry about it, it's normal. Mine went green and smelly. Hmm BCGs are just nasty... apart from the whole preventing TB bit which is rather nice.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 26/11/2013 11:42

Fish finger sandwich. Delish

Lily311 · 26/11/2013 11:49

I am chuffed. It's been a tough year study wise as well and passing the course means so much. I wouldn't have been disappointed by not passing but it's better this way:). Now thinking about doubling up on the courses. Has anyone done 2 Ou courses at the same time? There would be an overlap between feb and June,

PetiteRaleuse · 26/11/2013 12:18

Congratulations Lily that's brilliant news.

StuntNun · 26/11/2013 12:37

I have done that Lily and it's not too bad. Let your tutor know that you are preparing for an exam when you start the second course and they might be able to give you some leeway with your assignments.

I'm a bit worried. My dad says my SIL has had the baby but he needed an operation and is now in ICU. Dad doesn't know what the operation was for. I don't want to bother my DB when he's busy with his wife and son but I can't help feeling concerned and protective towards my big bro. I wish I could jump on a plane and go over.

stunt that sounds scary, I hope everything is ok. I would send a thinking of you text. He'll be able to answer when he has a quiet moment but at least will know you're there iyswim. Fingers crossed you get good news soon x

Sophiathesnowfairy · 26/11/2013 15:11

Oh stunt you must be so worried. I would send him a text too, he will know you are thinking of him and can answer in s own time. ((Hugs))

ditsygal · 26/11/2013 16:44

Oh stunt that must be worrying, especially not knowing what has happened, but they are all in the best possible place and in capable hands. I would txt and say congrats and your thinking of him and as Sophia says, I'm sure he will call/text when its appropriate. big hugs

PetiteRaleuse · 26/11/2013 17:21

I've run out of butter. That never happens. Ffs I went to the supermarket this morning. How am I going to cook my steaks?

PurplePidjin · 26/11/2013 18:04

Well done Lily Thanks

Stunt i would send a Thinking Of You text too

PR olive oil, garlic and a splash of red?

Survived another day of two. That's it till possibly Friday now. We based ourselves at otherdc's house and it was much easier, mum was working from home so we had a 1 1/2 hour walk, then lunch together, then a short drive to trigger naps - R woke after 20 minutes still grumpy so i slung him on my back and read/sang to the other baby then they played together - hide and seek, tag and peekaboo plus bashing all the noisy toys :o GT you're going to have so much fun in a few months they were hilarious together!

PetiteRaleuse · 26/11/2013 18:26

Have to admit my two are, more often than not, fun together the last few weeks. Except when DD1 gets tired.

Will have to be olive oil pidj. I might go into butter withdrawal though :o

Well done on your epic nannying! I'd have gone mad fairly quickly.

PetiteRaleuse · 26/11/2013 18:28

Fucking cat shit on one of my two rugs. Wooden or tiled florring throughout house. Two small rugs. One now ruined. Ffs.

PurplePidjin · 26/11/2013 18:31

Could do peppercorn sauce if you've got soft cheese or cream?

PetiteRaleuse · 26/11/2013 18:35

My fault I shut him in the room by mistake. Stinks. His first accident since we got him (6 years ago) unlike the other one.

PetiteRaleuse · 26/11/2013 18:36

I have creme fraiche but not normal cream or soft cheese. I don't really like creamy sauces too milk-like for me.

StuntNun · 26/11/2013 18:39

Update from DM on DB: my new nephew had a difficult delivery and then needed a bowel operation which has been a complete success and there should be no further issues. DB has been with DN in the ICU all day and my poor SIL is in a different hospital and hasn't seen her baby since last night. It's a difficult start for them and it must have been traumatic but the prognosis is good and hopefully they will all be together tomorrow and able to properly start their new life as a family.
