Oh fruit, so sorry to hear that. Life is just unfair.

bplp I'm raging in your behalf!

As for hard food: carrot sticks, bread sticks, pepper, courgette sticks? O adores toast.

Brockle · 11/07/2013 18:59

I am bfing clarella and I am back at work. I have BF'd with all three and hope to until Y us a year old like my other two. I am.pumping at the mo but as with the other two I feed in the morning and at night and y has formula or ebf during the day. it is def possible! Grin Grin Grin

so sorry fruit that is horrible.

bp I hope you get some of your money back.she is a cow bag.

well DH is fasting. so Ramadan kareem! its bloody hard work for all concerned. just 28 days to goSmile

YellowWellies · 11/07/2013 19:39

MM I meant to say I have a pal with Menieres disease if your DP wants she'd be happy to chat to him about it. She was a keen diver too but isn't allowed to anymore because of it - so you may want to prepare him for that possibility. If it is Menieres (and it sounds the least worst option) then the mountain bike purchase was just him being a tit eh? Wink

Kyzordz · 11/07/2013 20:13

Evening all. So far so good except I do not want to say it has worked because if I do he'll wake up. He went to sleep at 7:15. The only issue I've found with the new routine is he gets really grubby when he eats, and by the time I've cleaned him up etc after dinner at 4 he isn't having a bottle till 5 and then is having his bed time bottle at 7 and it took him a while to drink the last bit. It seems a bit squished up and I'm not sure how to combat that! It can take him a while to eat, but he ate his solids beautifully all day and has taken 25oz all day which is good. If I took the tea time bottle and only offered 3 bottles all day he would probably only just take the recommended 20oz a day and I like to offer the four if possible so I know I'm not moving him along too quickly and most importantly I want to keep him sleeping through!

Anyway enough about me...

vq sounds like an horrendous night :( I thought j was eating his purées now? Or is he not very keen? Hopefully you'll find it works out ok just giving finger foods, it's scary stuff but even I'm quite ok with it most of the time and you know how terrible I am! I am glad your chests are better, and I hope tonight is better. Could/would dp manage with j for a night to let you get some sleep?

Woohoo yw sounds like he is doing fab :)

Hiya clarella! It sounds like your lo is doing fine and your dh needs to stop worrying so much, I know it's easier said than done but he will get there with feeding and solids etc :) erm would he take bread sticks? You could perhaps dip them in things like hummus?

fruit hugs :(

I might try for an early night tonight in case e decides he doesn't like the new routine after all. I really hope I can tweak it and it all works, dp works nights and leaves at 9pm so e going to bed at 7 would mean we might have time to watch a bit of telly sometimes or something :)

FatimaLovesBread · 11/07/2013 20:42

(((Hugs))) fruit.

I am spectacularly unorganised. Wanted to be all packed and ready this evening but haven't had a chance. Just having a bath and shaving my legs, still got tea to eat and then try get some packing done. If not will have to hope M has a lie in so I can get up and do it.

Any suggestions on what clothes to pack? I've been and bought some new tops that are a bit nicer than plain ribbed vests, I was planning on wearing with skinnies. Except its not forecast to be 30degrees! I only have really casual shorts that fit and one maxi skirt.
Might just wear jeans anyway Confused

I haven't even started to think about M - vests and short rompers me thinks

BigPigLittlePig · 11/07/2013 20:48

CM gets worse.

She has now blocked me on FB, the only method of contact, so I cannot contact her. Have printed out a letter and will post it. She gets worse by the minute.

Passmethecrisps · 11/07/2013 20:56

Evenin duders.

Poor J is a martyr to his tummy, VQ. And poor you are a martyr to J! I am glad to hear that your chests are on the mend.

Ooooooo BP! I am pure ragin' for you. What a total and utter moose. She is a piece of work. Good on you with the rage mail.

How is chasing today? Where are you misses?

Good to see you clarella! Confusing stuff. It sounds like you have a good handle on things though. I think chaps can suffer from a version of PND. They don't have the hormones but they surely are just as prone to the same anxieties and worries as us ladies. I wonder if it can sometimes be tough as people forget about dad when things are going on.

Hia stunt! Enjoy the wilds.

sounds fab kyz but I won't say anything just in case I jinx it

StuntNun · 11/07/2013 21:02

MM if the doc thinks it's Menieres, make sure he's checked out for TMJ disorders as well. There's an excellent support group on FB called Menieres Disease UK. There's a bigger international one as well but the UK one is more of a close knit community. I've been in remission for three years but I still participate in the group.

(((Hugs))) Fruit, what devastating news.

I am happy to report however that DS1 passed his trumpet exam. Sighs of relief all round.

OP posts:
Passmethecrisps · 11/07/2013 21:05

I am so sorry fruit. Poor DH, he must be very upset.

I would love to have a chop at my hair YW. Pics please.

Will have o google meniers mm. Sounds like it will be tough but better than it was looking.

P has been weird today. No idea what has been going on. To coin a phrase she has been totes emosh. For example, I heard her waking from a nap - too soon and not very happy. Anyway, she seemed to brighten when I went in and ended up laughing and squealing. I popped out the room for a second and heard her roaring and crying. I would have thought separation anxiety but it didn't stop when I went back in. So basically she has wept and wailed on and off all day. It seems to come from nothing at all - suddenly she just starts. Not sure if it was tiredness as she never seemed to get enough sleep from her naps. It was hot but really noisy outside so no relief really.

Passmethecrisps · 11/07/2013 21:10

Oh fuck a duck . . . Otter mums are cruel!

TheDetective · 11/07/2013 21:16

Do you ever come on here and just want to bash the keyboard and hope it says everything you want to say without having you use your brain?

Sometimes my head is just so fecked at the end of the day I can hardly think, let alone string coherent sentences together. Stupid mind numbing tiredness.

Fruit I am so sorry to hear about your BIL. Life is fucking cruel. :(

BP She is a fuck faced cuntbag. Small claims. Do it. Don't let her get away with this. She is so far beyond unreasonable its crazy. Trash her name and reputation with everyone you know. I wonder if she even realises what she has effectively done to her 'business'.

If you want me to send a message on your behalf through FB let me know. I'm sure there are about 80 other people who will do the same, she will get fed up blocking people and reply eventually .

Had O weighed today. He is 19lb 11. Up to 75th centile. He has steadily climbed up the centiles. I'm not concerned. He is very very long. He has legs like trunks just like daddy. One width top to bottom! and he looks perfectly in proportion to me. HV of course couldn't help but comment. I just said well I'll only be concerned when his weight is above his height centile. I then said 'have you noticed that when you looked at him? Did you think to look if he was in proportion before saying anything'. Bad Detective. I should have just smiled and nodded. But I was warm and prickly. Blush She just said well I suppose he is long. Let's just see then.

Fucksake!

Besides. He has 20-24oz milk, and eats fruit, veg, chicken, rice, cereals. That's pretty much it.

What do they think you are gonna do?! Makes me laugh! I know, I will reduce his bottles and leave him crying. Or just not wean him... you choose. Just let me know when childrens services will be knocking at my door for neglecting my baby!

I'm hormonal aren't I? Hurry the fuck up period.

kirrinIsland · 11/07/2013 21:29

Only skim read sorry.

fruit that is devastating news :(

DP is fasting too brockle It certainly does impact on the whole house doesn't it. Ramadan Kareem to you and yours :)

How are you doing chasing?

Just oop north at the moment visiting family. We had a lovely pub lunch with my girls and their cousins - all under 3 - it was fab.

BigPigLittlePig · 11/07/2013 21:31

Det just read your post out loud to dh. He said "do it do it do it" Grin Inundate the bitches inbox lol.

TheDetective · 11/07/2013 21:34

Name and message pleeeeeesh! Also profile pic description so I don't fuck it up by sending it to some total randomer!

fruitpastilles · 11/07/2013 21:38

Thanks for all the hugs, it's nice to have been able to get it out as dp asked me not to tell my side of the family yet, he said he wouldn't be able to deal with all the texts and calls he'd get so soon.

det hv's are so thick sometimes, I do wonder how some of them ever passed whatever exam they need to take to be a hv! I don't blame you for saying something, there are only so many times you can smile and nod.

stunt congratulations to your ds1

kyz fc the new routine will carry on working. really hopes I haven't jinxed anything

bp that isn't a bad idea of detectives I'd definitely send the cunting cm a message for you.

To those with dh's fasting, I really don't know how they are managing in this weather, I certainly couldn't go all day in this heat without a sip of water from dawn till dusk. Hats off!

Kyzordz · 11/07/2013 21:45

Stupid wankholing cm bplp we should defo spammer :p

At last weigh in det I was told if e gets to the 98th centile they will need to 'review' him, and I should apparently have him on 2 bottles by the time they see me next. I did point out that they have not measured him since 4 weeks of age and in actual fact he is underweight for his height which is well off the centiles. I am not cutting to two bottles, not in the time frame given (a fortnight, from four to two!) nor does he get an unhealthy diet and like o he is very well proportioned. Very tall, with some meat but by no means a lot and I am through feeling guilty that he is big. So he's growing out of 12-18, so what! So he's climbing centiles... He has done it steadily like your o. I wouldn't mind but with the crap I've had getting him to drink milk or eat food sometimes I am just grateful when he does either and feel funny taking milk away. I will at least offer it if I can work out how to fit the tea time bottle in properly lol! Sorry, rant over Blush

pass odd! Teefs mebbeh?

BigPigLittlePig · 11/07/2013 21:49

Kyz and Det I can add the HV to the growing list of angry letters, if you like? They can take their place behind VQs boss Grin

Much as I would lurve to spam her inbox with quiche, for the same reasons I have discouraged dh from "egging her house or slashing her tyres" Hmm I will refrain, in an attempt to keep things legit.

BigPigLittlePig · 11/07/2013 21:50

Chasing come out, come out wherever you aaaare?! Shall I add xp to the list? I think you need a big eggy quichey hug today, no?

Kyzordz · 11/07/2013 21:54

Well then bp you must..... Piss in her shoes :)

chasing are you ok?

TheDetective · 11/07/2013 21:56

LMAO @ Mr Pigs suggestions! Typical man suggestions!

Chasing big eggy hugs going your way! I ate too many eggs yesterday. My farts fecking stink. So I may not be your favourite person to hug!! Grin

What do people think about attempting to arrange a giant meet up for our babies 1st birthdays?

I know it would be impossible to agree a date and place that everyone could make, but do you think it is feasible to arrange a large meet up somewhere? Any takers?

BigPigLittlePig · 11/07/2013 21:59

Yup yup yup. Although not if you keep eating eggs.

Kyzordz · 11/07/2013 22:02

I might be brave enough for that if I prepare for it mentally from now lol

fruitpastilles · 11/07/2013 22:04

I'd be up for it, it'd be brilliant!

Elizadoesdolittle · 11/07/2013 22:04

fruit I'm so sorry. Your poor DH.

bplp Arsing bitch of a women. I'm happy to attack her fb too.

Kyz Wow. E sounds like he is eating loads! I know it varies day by day but if he can eat that much it's fantastic.

Had a consultant appointment for E this afternoon. He was very pleased with her and no need to see him for 4 months and I can cancel that if all is well. Pretty much a waste of time really but I guess it's good to get that dr crossed off the list. He said the dietician has the authority to get rid of the tube so I'll concentrate my efforts on her!

I'm off to the hawksmoor tomorrow night for a friends birthday. Very excited. Tried to go twice before (once was when E was in hospital so I had to cancel). I'm looking forward to a cocktail or 2 and a rare steak.

Elizadoesdolittle · 11/07/2013 22:08

detective It's a fab idea and I will definelty be up for at least attempting it.
