This thread's topic is what size of nappies are your babies in? And how are the cloth bum babies doing?

Shite night yet a bloody gain

Sunny day, bbq had at mum and dads. Now supping dad's homemade sangria... Yum! Maybe that'll help James sleep!

PetiteRaleuse · 07/07/2013 18:43

Great match, he played wonderfully. And his mum looked so proud. Bless them. Tennis

Lily311 · 07/07/2013 18:44

n room is 26c and the fan has been on for 30 mins, and it's not made a difference!

Is it ok to let N sleep in his vest?

ValiumQueen · 07/07/2013 18:48

When I brought DD1 home as a newborn it was around 28 at night. Horrid trying to keep such a wee one cool. Ours are bigger now so not such a worry.

ChasingDaisy · 07/07/2013 18:55

I thoroughly enjoyed it.I loved his girlfriends reaction best. A shame that I was watching with a house full of Murray haters though Hmm

PetiteRaleuse · 07/07/2013 19:00

DD1 has just put herself to bed.

Her own bed.

ValiumQueen · 07/07/2013 19:04

PR to me that is far far more wonderful than Wimbledon Smile

ValiumQueen · 07/07/2013 19:04

I prefer bigger balls.

Passmethecrisps · 07/07/2013 19:15

Hoorah for own bed PR! Brilliant!

We did some splishing in the paddling pool this afternoon in between taking it in turns to check the score.

P's room is 26 oC. She is in a 1.5 tog sleeping bag and a nappy. It's the lightest we have and she needs the bag. She seems ok this far.

We have had a lovely weekend. I feel all comfy in my tummy.

Passmethecrisps · 07/07/2013 19:20

Aaaaand! I had a PR moment this afternoon. Lifted p above my head while singing "lallalalaaaaa yeeeeeeeiiiiiiiiikkkkeeees!" Yup, she thew up in my mouth. Well, I saw it coming (slo mo matrix stylee) so I clamped my mouth shut. I could smell it though Envy

ChasingDaisy · 07/07/2013 19:57

I feel all comfy in my tummy

How lovely pass Smile

PurplePidjin · 07/07/2013 19:59

Huzzah, PR!

We were at friends' house for a bbq, clever R decided to conk out on me in time for the last set :o

In other news, i have what looks like a lemon jelly tot on my right calf after an insect bite yesterday Hmm docs tomorrow then Sad

YellowWellies · 07/07/2013 20:15

Whoop whoop PR well done Mrs!

Pidj fab timing! Chasing boo to the Murray haters - Tories? I could easily have pissed myself when Alex Salmond was madly waving his saltire flag behind David Cameron after Murray won Grin

Sleeping calpoled bear is asnooze in my arms whilst I cut his claws then downstairs a roast dinner cooked by DH awaits and a celebratory Wine for Mr Murray. I too am comfy in my tummy - great turn of phrase there Pass. DH looked after Jonas all day so I could get myself set up for freelancing, he did the big shop on his own AND cooked a roast dinner - I'm thinking he'd make a better SAHM than me. It was grand to have some me time however I was thrilled though when they returned from Sainsburys and Jonas craned out of DH's arms for me and gave me a big giggling open mouthed snog Grin. My two boys are wonderful.

And the Returned is on c4 at 9pm and it looks like beach and paddling pool weather all week. Epic! Smile

ChasingDaisy · 07/07/2013 20:19

Some happy sounding quichesters today. How lovely Smile

Evilwater · 07/07/2013 20:48

Well last night always a bad night at the evil house, after a very good day.
N would not settle and I had to leave him, Of course I cried on the way to work as I wanted to settle my baby. Work it's self was ok, I'm still finding my feet and trying to find things. Nothing ever changes! Same old problems just in a new place.

Today N has been great again, as I had to have some sleep this morning. We went to nanas 92 birthday and of course he was centre stage. As the day has gone on he has got grumpy due to the heat. So I've left him just in his nappy, and a nice cool bath at the end of the day.

Now to read the thread.
Evil

PetiteRaleuse · 07/07/2013 20:51

She's still there !

ChasingDaisy · 07/07/2013 20:54

Grin PR. Even if she doesn't stay there, this is a good step forwards.

Elizadoesdolittle · 07/07/2013 21:13

Right, I'm just gonna come out and say it....I'm glad Murray won. There. Tennis

I didn't watch the match. But got in to see the last game. chasing I liked his girlfriends reaction too. And it made me giggle that he nearly didn't give his mum a kiss when he climed up the balcony. But he did actually show some hint of personality in his speech. That's as much as a compliment as he's going to get from me.

Had a great day at the festival. DD1 was in her element. Dancing to live music, going on all the rides and E sat unaided and ate her lunch for the first time. SO you can add my day to the list of good days. Glad to read there have again been many. Makes such a lovely change to the threads of old where we have been hiding at home avoiding freezing conditions.

Celebratory Wine all round.

TheDetective · 07/07/2013 21:23

Errrrr Pass, DP forgot to read your suncream memo!!

He's absolutely burnt to a crispy crisp. He resembles over cooked bacon.

I had factor 50 on. Topped up regularly. Also wore a large brimmed sun hat. Like a twat.

And I am also FUCKING BURNT! Not as bad as DP like... but still. FACTOR 50 PEEPS!!! Every 60-90 mins topped up! FUCKSAKE.

Sorry for the shouting! Just wtf?!

Anyway, DP made £11 Hmm at the car boot. Wonder what to splash out on??!

Had a BBQ at MIL's once again we took all the food, paid for by moi.

O had a nice day, he tried the banana soreen. Thumbs down! Will give it toasted tomorrow!

He took a while to settle this evening. And he only took 3.5 oz at bedtime. He is, however, sleeping right over on his side/tummy, exactly like I sleep. He seemed very confused about how he should sleep. He's always slept on his back, occasionally rolling slightly to one side. But he's not in the toddle pod tonight, so he had full range of movement. He was crying because he would roll on his tummy and then end up in the crawling position! I had to try and not laugh failed Grin. Anyway, he did it in the end! Just hope he stays there! YW Preemptive calpol here too tonight! He teeth really seem to make him so cross at night. He seems okay in the day though?!

Glad the quiche has enjoyed the sun! And mostly, I am glad PR has a child in their own bed at this moment!
