This thread's topic is what size of nappies are your babies in? And how are the cloth bum babies doing?

pass I'm guilty of the sunblock thing. I always do the kids and forget myself. I think my skin is so old and leathery anyway it doesn't matter so much but that isn't the attitude to take. ,gives oneself a slap and promises to lather it on oneself tomorrow>.

pikz Do it! DH has done the Aus and the NZ tours. Although I wasn't a massive rugby fan until DH forced me to watch it, I bloody loved the lions tour. We were supposed to do the SA one in 2009 but my friends rather rudely got married in cape town in March of that year so we went to that instead. Couldn't justify going back later in the year. So we will do the SA one at some point as DH really wants to have done all 3.

stunt Sad I really hope you manage to have a lovely holiday. Nobody deserves it more than you.

PetiteRaleuse · 07/07/2013 21:48

One child, but LO won't settle.

Kyzordz · 07/07/2013 21:51

Hey everyone! Have read everything and there's so much to reply to since I last logged on, a good ten pages!

Had a fab time, bon jovi were amazing, seriously unbelievable. He's still as gorgeous and as talented as ever, they were so fab! Spent lots far too much of money and had a lovely time, just glad to be back with e, not that he's been easy, bless him! Not sure if he's on mostly-refusing-solids duty because he feels like it or because its too hot? Has anyone else's lo's gone off food or even milk a bit in the warm weather?

det e likes the lamb one of the ek pouches, he's a fussy git and is refusing almost everything ATM again but he did eat an entire lamb one on two occasions

chasing I'm thrilled to bits you're so happy!

Hugs to those with work troubles, it's not as if there's not enough going on :(

Hope you enjoy your holiday stunt :)

bplp sounds like f likes spag Bol and food down the wrong hole didn't put her off!!

Glad work was ok evil :)

Gosh I'm on page 15 and I've barely commented on anything, sorry guys I'm trying to fly though but I am reading it all!

It's been soooo warm!! Makes for an unhappy Eric and a pissed off me, I do not have fit in any shorts so I'm just sweltering in jeans all the flicking time, it's making Eric moody as anything and is apparently the cause of his lack of appetite according to my mum

Oh fatima glad m is ok now sounds quite traumatic though bless her :( glad you're both ok though now

mm I'd be fuming, no wonder you are angry, they sound fucking awful

stunt it sounds like dh does have a lot to deal with but so do you :( I do hope once j's sleep improves other things improve too, I echo what pass said, he's very lucky to have you as you are so patient and sound so lovely

Watched the very end of the tennis, was pleased Murray won :)

pr how awesome!?!?!?!? Go dd1!!!

Glad you had a good time eliza

Wow I didn't comment on much did I? Sorry, I'll do my full summary posts from tomorrow, I'm just so tired! E woke a couple of times sobbing in his sleep, no idea why, he's been ok today but not slept much, only drank 24oz and hasn't eaten a great deal, he's mostly wanting fruit purée from the pouch and not a lot else.

Sooooooo.... Who missed me? Wink don't worry I know you're all glad I managed to stfu for a few days lol

daisychain76 · 07/07/2013 21:53

Another nice day here. l did my 13 mile bike ride so feel rather proud of myself despite being beaten by a group of 10 and 11 year olds

Stunt sorry about dh issues. Does he have any hobbies he share with your older two? Having something positive they do together regularly could help (sure you have thought of this already)

Mm that is just shocking.

Evil glad you are finding work ok

TheDetective · 07/07/2013 21:57

Last time I had a BBQ I felt awful after it, sick and disgustingly full.

I ate less this time.

I feel awful, and sick again. Not so full though.

I am very meticulous with the chicken I eat on the BBQ. The only other things I've had are veg, and quorn sausages.

So what is making me feel so ill?

It's put me off BBQ's now. Envy

Elizadoesdolittle · 07/07/2013 22:02

Welcome back kyz Glad you had a fab time. E has been iffy at eating in the heat. Don't know why as she was fine on holiday and it was a lot hotter there. Although I suppose we hung around by the pool and had air con so the heat was easier to deal with. Anyway, what I'm saying to you yet again about E and his eating is....DON'T WORRY Smile Sorry to shout but I felt you needed it.

izzybizzybuzzybees · 07/07/2013 22:06

J still awake. Finishing a bottle just now them bed hopefully. It's to be 25 degrees here in haggisland tomorrow :-)

ChasingDaisy · 07/07/2013 22:13

Det could it be the heat making you feel sick?

Kyzordz · 07/07/2013 22:14

Is it the heat detective?

Thanks eliza I do need shouting at I think, shall try not to worry and just keep offering him a variety.

What is it you do to apple to make it softer for them to eat as finger food? I've got a load of apples but I still daren't give them as they are, just wanted to soften them for now. He still, doesn't have any teggies

izzy hope j goes to sleep and you also get some sleep

YellowWellies · 07/07/2013 22:17

Kyz it's not been the same without you!

Quichesters in Wimbledon Conquering land (the country formerly known as Scotland) anyone fancy a baby paddling pool party this week? I figure playing in the garden will be on the menu all week given the weather and its nice to have company Smile

PurplePidjin · 07/07/2013 22:19

R is also being odd about food. A combo of heat, teefs and wanting to do it himself then being pissed off it's not as efficient as when mummy and daddy do it. So, he has a spoon crisp, chip, bread to nom while we shovel mouthfuls in around his malcoordinated wagglings Hmm

Discovered he likes Bears today, good little MN baby :o

i should be asleep but I'm having a wallow in self pity at being fat, ugly and shit at mummydom

YellowWellies · 07/07/2013 22:19

Kyz Jonas is down on milk (I think - my boobs are sore but it's hard to be precise with BF) and food intake - I think it's either heat, teeth or both.

Passmethecrisps · 07/07/2013 22:20

Hia kyz! Glad you had a good time. I have steamed apple before. Chop it into thickish slices, pop into the microwave with a tiny bit of water and loosely covered in a dish. Just a few seconds. You are just wanting to soften it alightly

YellowWellies · 07/07/2013 22:20
Passmethecrisps · 07/07/2013 22:21

Yas Yw!! Not Tuesday preferably. Or if Tuesday then early.

Passmethecrisps · 07/07/2013 22:22

Moar fishes lobbed at pp

Bliney. P only just got to sleep. Yikes

Elizadoesdolittle · 07/07/2013 22:23

Kyz Sometimes E will scoff a whole meal and looks like she loves it. A couple of days later I can give her the same thing and she'll bearly touch it. At this age I think a lot of how much they eat is down to their mood. As they don't associate food with curing hunger at the moment, that job is still milk, it really depends if they can be bothered to go through the whole eating process. They may be tired, bored, etc. The thing E never fails to eat is fromage frais so I just give her one of those after dinner (or I know you say tea) and I feel happier that she has at least eaten something.

izzybizzybuzzybees · 07/07/2013 22:25

I love the thought of pool party but doubt I'd manage this week. MIL away doing day trips so need to pick up DD from nursery plus have baby swimming on Tues at 1.30 and baby sensory at 11.30 wed :-(

BigPigLittlePig · 07/07/2013 22:28

Hospital plus 30 degree heat = a very tired sweaty mummy pig.

Welcome back kyz - we all missed you, you numpty! F is off her food too, am sure it's because of the heat.

YW if I had my way, I wouldn't leave F with anyone either. She has definite separation anxiety - my timing couldn't be worse Sad

Pass Envy

PR amazing! Hope she stays there! The laminated flipchart obviouslt has helped matters!

DH struggled with F today - both hot and bothered, but the wee pickle is now soundo in her cot. Tomorrow we're off to the open air pool in the next town along, with some friends from baby group. Then it's the first settling in session at the nursery in the afternoon

izzybizzybuzzybees · 07/07/2013 22:29

Hmmmm, could maybe do Fri if DD can come too?

ValiumQueen · 07/07/2013 22:29

Hi, Jacob just down in the cot. I think he has read that Izzys J stays up late and wants the same. He self settled though which is fab. We are both feeling quite a bit better today. DD2 is fucking coughing though.

Night night all. Sweet dreams if babies and the heat will let you x

BigPigLittlePig · 07/07/2013 22:29
BigPigLittlePig · 07/07/2013 22:30

Not sure I've ever really used the word "embraces" before Hmm

izzybizzybuzzybees · 07/07/2013 22:33

Hope you get some sleep vq. My J is just asleep after having around 5oz bottle and a bit of a boob top up. DH will pop him to bed in a minute or two.

Passmethecrisps · 07/07/2013 22:34

Y'er getting soft BP. It is a well known fact that having baybeez makes your vocabulary more genteel
